"Did someone say mop?!" Eric gleefully proclaimed, raising his mop (which had somehow been fully repaired off-screen) in a triumphant pose. "Count me in, Evan! If it means saving the world and watching you do more cool Jell-O stuff, then I am all for it, amigo!"

He then picked up the discarded box of gemstones, tucking it under his arm. "Supposin' we'll be needing this, huh?"

"God, I hope not..." Evan snarled lowly in response to Arti's comment. He was willing to put up with his present form if it was needed to combat the wyrms, but he refused to believe he would be stuck like this any longer than the week to come.

With a deep breath, Evan nodded to the box in Eric's hand and marched ahead, making a beeline for the city. "C'mon. There's bound to be more of 'em along the way, so might as well brace yourselves now."

So... now there was this to deal with. Another bizarre occurrence in the middle of what was already a crisis situation. Evan tried to tell himself that this wasn't that bad. That he was capable now more than ever of dealing with this invasion. But the fact remained that he had no idea how helpful this could be and whether or not this was even meant to be the key to their success. He didn't even have full control over his new abilities yet, and the amount of time it would likely take him to grow accustomed to them would likely exceed the week-long time limit Kendall had set. And even then, he doubted he would ever be able to fully get over how gross being made of slime felt to him.

He looked to the sky, utterly dejected. He wasn't even sure if this would be enough to clear that cloud away.

And yet, even with all these concerns, all these doubts, all these questions he had about himself and these monsters... there was really only one thing Evan cared about right then and there.
