Max looked up at Ryan, nodding approvingly at his polo shirt. "Looks good! If you really wanna fret over details, I'd say you can leave the top button open. Professional doesn't necessarily have to be synonymous with nerdy. Heheh."
Soon enough, she had evened out the tone of Percy's face, covering his markings as thoroughly as possible. She then reached into her tote and pulled out her blush. She had just started to dab some color back into Percy's cheeks when Will walked in, prompting Max to turn around and examine his wardrobe change as well. "Hm. Not bad. Looks like we can make this work."
She tried not to laugh at Will's expense and Percy's amused reaction, hiding her awkward smirk by facing Percy again and finishing his makeover. "There. I think that should do it." She rooted through her tote again until she found a pocket mirror for Percy to inspect himself in. "I tried my best to keep it as minimalist and masculine as possible. What do you think?"

Ryan nodded with a grin, quickly undoing the top button and looking Percy over. "Yeah... wow, actually. You look good Percy. Max cleaned you up pretty well." And then Will walked back in, and, perhaps expectedly, freaked about the missing food. And the polo. "Oh shit! Sorry Will! Percy thought it'd work out well. Though... Well, it looks like you managed to find something anyways. You look pretty decent." He complimented. "As for your breakfast, we saw nothing~"
Hey, he had said he'd cover for Percy. There he was.
Ryan then looked over toward Max. "So... we're dressed for business, and ready, once Percy approves?" He asked.

"Pfft... Well, what did ya think was gonna happen?" Lydia snickered as Will grumbled about his missing shirt and breakfast. Seemed like she was already starting to get used to Percy's mischievous ways.

"... Heh. I actually look like a normal person for a change of pace." Percy grinned and winked at his reflection. "Thanks, Max. As for the polo..." The brunette stood up, grabbing the shoes he was clearly dreading having to wear. "Ryan needed a change of clothes, and he's closer to your size than mine. That, and you know I only have like, four sets of clothes, only one of which happens to be formal."
"Okay, I get that." Will nodded at Ryan. "... Yeah. Ryan's not a twig like you-"
"Hey!"
"To be honest, I'm surprised you're still a twig. Quit stealing other people's food and learn to eat normal meals, please, you're going to get stabbed over that one day."

Max beamed at Percy's response and Ryan's compliments. "Glad I could do you justice!" She continued to snicker to herself as the three men bickered with each other, tossing her mirror and makeup back in her tote before grabbing the perfume she had set aside. When she had a chance to speak up again, she walked over to William and cheekily stated, "Hey, he's your friend. Probably could've figured out by now how likely he is to go behind your back and claim custody of your stuff."
She popped the cap off her perfume bottle and promptly spritzed the concoction onto her neck. "But hey, what matters is that we all look dressed for success and prepared to see what LunArc's hiding behind those walls. So whadya say, boys? We good to go save my ex?"

Ryan looked at the group assembled in the apartment, then reached up and adjusted his shirt collar. "I appreciate you letting me borrow this Will. It'll hopefully make things go smoother from here on out, right?" He said it with a smile, but secretly already knew it wouldn't be so easy. He gave a heavy sigh.
"Okay. Okay. I think... I'm ready. I've never done this sorta corporate espionage thing, but I think I can keep my cool. I'm not gonna sweat it." He said out loud. And he meant it. The "not gonna sweat it" bit anyways. Seeing how he couldn't really sweat much anymore. "Let's go and save Lydia!" He proclaimed with a forced grin.

"I am all for that course of action," Lydia joked, leaning on her knees as she smirked at the people on her monitor. Needless to say, she was more than anxious for this rescue mission to get underway.
A sharp tremor shook the pod, prompting Lydia to grab her seat and shoot up in alarm. After blankly staring forward for a moment, her eyes darted back to the monitor, quickly spotting Max spraying perfume on herself a mere foot away from William. Another jolt, then came instant recognition.
"OH GOD NO, NO NO NO WILL DON'T SNEEZE DO NOT SNEEZE I'M STILL IN YOUR ESOPHAGUS!!!"

Will's noise twitched as the perfume entered. Oh gods, what the hell?! His nose suddenly felt all itchy! He pulled in, oh god why are you in there could you relocate to somewhere that perhaps isn't involved in sneezing?!
"Oh no. Everyone, get down! Will's gonna sneeze!" Percy jumped under the table, placing a chair between himself and the incoming storm.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...." The blonde's head went down. He pinched the bridge of his noise. With the other hand, he tugged at an earlobe as if adjusting a nonexistent earring. "... choo." Phew, no storm. Wow, that was anticlimatic. "Sorry about that. But what is that, essence of hydranaga?"
Realizing that the storm was over for now, Percy began to get out from under the table. "Huh. I'm surprised you were able to hold that in. And good."
"Your sneezes make a dozen shingles fall from the roof! Not to mention, you actually knocked down a grown man! AND you sound like something roaring when you sneeze!" Taking a moment to compose himself, Will shot Max an apologetic look. "Sorry. Don't know what came over me."

Max was very noticeably stymied by Percy's intense reaction to Will's need to sneeze, especially considering the sneeze itself was so innocuous. "Oh, uh... Bless you." She cast a quick, slightly peeved frown at her perfume, then at Will. "It's Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, and it costs more than I should probably be spending on the salary I make. Still, I... guess I could've backed up a few feet for courtesy's sake. Sorry."
With that, Max tossed her perfume back in her tote, clasped her hands together, and made her way towards the door. "Alright. Get the led out, 'cause it's time to go to work."

Ryan seemed to hesitate and step back a little as Percy dove for cover. "Get down? Why? I don't underst--" And then William sneezed lightly. Ryan blinked at him. "Yeah, I.... don't get it. Uhh. gesundheit, Will?" He offered, looking at Percy in confusion. "Are Will's sneezes normally a cause for diving for cover?" He inquired. What a strange person indeed. "That really didn't sound like a roar, Percy."
"I'm sure it's fine Max." He complimented. "I'm not the best when it comes to discerning perfumes, but for what my opinion is worth, it smells nice." He offered up, as he began to walk towards the door with Max. And that much was true. His senses were still fully functional after all.
"Either way. It's time to go I guess." He said as he slid on his shoes and opened the door.

"Bluh..."
The fact that Proteus II's hold on the esophagus wall hadn't been broken by the spontaneous gust of wind might as well have been a miracle as far as Lydia was concerned. Still, Will's mostly-suppressed sneeze did jolt the pod quite a bit, enough to knock her out of her seat and leave her awkwardly sprawled out and wedged between the chair and her instruments. It took her the better half of the conversation going on outside for her to get her bearings back in order, at least enough to question when this accursed headache would finally go away.
"Attention, passengers..." she grumbled to herself as she slowly, limply picked herself back up. "Please fasten your seatbelts and return your tray tables and seat backs to the full, upright position." Her attempt to support herself by grabbing the chair resulted in the revolving apparatus twisting out from underneath her and sending her smacking face-first into the back cushion, earning a precision f-strike in turn. There wasn't enough Advil in the world.
Once she was finally back in the pilot's chair proper, Lydia let out a sigh, readjusted her headset, and gave her temples a thorough massage. "Let's... not... do that again, okay, Will?"
Then she grabbed the controls and promptly detached the ship, more than ready to get back on course. "Well, you heard the woman! Let's get movin'!"

"Alright, let's go save Max's ex! ... I still have no idea what's going on but I can roll with it anyway." Percy shrugged, and after making sure that yes, those accursed shoes were still intact, practically skipped out the door. "Well? What're we waiting for? I'm sure we don't have all day!" Slam went the door.
Will pinched the bridge of his nose. He made a mental note to apologize to Lydia later for almost sneezing her out. He also made one to apologize to Max when she inevitably found out about the deception. Probably due to him. "Well. That's Percy for you. He's the living embodiment of the Energy Hare. Yes, that's a thing." Pushing his glasses back up, he offered the door to Max. "Ladies first. Sorry about his lack of manners."
