Avenger chuckled quietly at Rio's statement. "It's been a pleasure, actually." He said, brushing himself off. "Do try and keep yourself well also. I expect this group wouldn't last a week without you." He added, tipping his hat to Cat and Mickey as well as he made his way to the door. "Well, Miss. Shall we see ourselves back in to the others? I'm curious what I've missed." Avenger said.

"Oh, no thanks, Rio," Lydia mused with bright eyes. "I think I oughta take a walk. Get some fresh air."
"Considering where you've just been, I'd say you're overdue for that!" Cat joked, waving Lydia off. "Nice talking with ya! Take it easy out there!"
"Thanks, you guys. Stay of trouble! If that's even possible..." Lydia teased back, shooting one last nod to the Trio of Three before stepping back outside.
With the camper van of freaks and geeks behind her, she stretched her back and breathed in the sweet, midday air with renewed vigor. Looking between Avenger and the lab she had grown so familiar with, she calmly stated, "If you have business to finish up with Jack, then have at it. I'm sure he'll sense you coming. As for me...? I need to get out for a moment. Work the muscles, ease the mind, you know how it is."
A mild blush filled her cheeks. "Seriously, though, thanks for everything. You have no idea what that boy means to me."
Having said all she needed to say, Lydia turned away from the Mexus facility, from the camper van, from the realm she had been trapped in for oh so long, and began a casual stride towards the city. She didn't look back. She had completed her work, and she wasn't going to dwell on it any further. Her eyes trailed upward, soaking in the clear sky the hung above the island like an endless sea. The delicate patterns of blues and whites where the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. She'd never felt so happy to lose herself in it, and she felt content knowing that she wouldn't have to part with it again.
Once she cleared the perimeter fence, she spread her arms out, tuning out all sensations save for the breeze in her hair. It barely even felt like she was moving her feet, and yet the world continued to pass her by. As far as Lydia Pendleton was concerned, she flew that day.
