Why: I feel the lyrics fit well with his roles, powers, and hopes to find alternate solutions

Why: Absolutely fits his overall meekness, as well as his relationship with Gamzee

Why: Perfect stoner song.

"Explode" by Patrick Stump
Why: The entire song I feel rather nicely describes Dave and his opinion of himself/Sburb. Which I shall of course delve into in detail:

"Clap if you've got a ticket to the end of the world" -- Quite obvious, I feel. Clap if you've got your copy of SBURB.

"And he was the man for the job / A one-man bomb squad" -- Dave, other than John, is perhaps the highest leveled of the kids. He has all of the freitmotifs, and all of the levels. All of them. He is the bomb squad, it is him.

"But if I'm never your hero I can never let you down" -- Dave, of course, is not the hero.

"Their last hopes, on him they'd hung / And they weighed him like a ton / But perhaps for him he'd none much left to lose" -- Dave's lost his bro, he's seemingly lost Rose, and he's not even in his same dimension any longer. There's not much left to lose for the lad. I imagine "their last hopes" to refer to the Derse moon shenanigans.

"You were born on a dare but you were born ready" -- I believe this quite nicely convalesces the shenanigans surrounding Dave's birth and his general coolness. He was born when Egbert, as if on a dare, ectobiologized him and the other kids/guardians. But he was certainly born ready.

"Dance Miserable" by Patrick Stump

"The right side's in the wrong/ And what's left's just holding on" -- Refers to the Strider/Lalonde siblings. Last Dave saw of Rose, she was on her way to die after recovering from her grimdark phase. He's the last of the two left, and even he's just holding on.

"But I believe in something here on earth / Just dance like you're disappointed in the world" -- Similar to Dave and his rhymes. If the world ends, if reality ceases to be a thing that exists, Dave Strider will still be the illest 13 year old out there.

"It's as bad as i remember and it's only getting worse / It only gets better when it hurts" -- Even with Harley and Egbert around, Lalonde's still gone, and Bro's still dead. Things are still as chaotic as they were in SBURB.

Seth (formerly Keiji Kimura)
"Kuusou Mesorogiwi" (Fantasy Mythology) by Yousei Teikoku
Why: It mentions God and things given from him, which makes sense with Seth's past. It mentions programs, which can relate to the demon summoning program Seth has access to. It mentions various gods, which can related to how demons function in SMT. It mentions overwriting the future and the "game of annihilation". It mentions escaping death, poignant to Seth's functional immortality.

And the last bit mentions lines that could indicate Seth knows his battle is hopeless, but he'll never stop fighting it.

Basically it gives a peak into her mentality and willingness to fight.

She is considered a conspiracy theorist for still believing that The Eternal Order is still in existence and she even met a member of the Dracorum.

Well, first and foremost, he is a wolf... But on top of a very somber and haunting tune, the lyrics tell a very lonely tale, all of which suit Darien well. He is a lonely person, but he keeps to his journey nonetheless, even despite the fear of his inner beast.

Okay, let's admit it... this kid is crazy. XD But going beyond that, this song reflects Patrick's kooky view on the world, his energetic and colorful personality, his magic and its effect on his life, and his relationships with his friends, his alternate selves, and a broken and lost Ace.

Despite being perhaps one of the most normal members of the group, Jen understands her friends' struggles more than most give her credit for. Not only is she empathetic and protective, but she's also very optimistic and outgoing, and this grand, sweeping song seems to reflect both the ups and downs of Jen and her friends' journey.

Much like Kendall above, Paul is just an all-around nice guy who will do anything he can to help. The motif of "fixing" suits his life and skills as an engineer and mechanic, but also go beyond that to his niche at making the most of any situation he comes across.
