First - THANK YOU JILAK. *gives you awesome points* He helped with most of these. NiGHTS and Kurama's are the only ones I came up with all on my own, and he tried to help with Ginger.
Zero Nada
Narcissist by Hedley

Why - First paragraph ALONE. Heck, it even uses his NAME. In the context of the number, but still. The whole song is about being self absorbed and caring about nothing but yourself (or things about yourself) and it also relates to appearances and Zero is indeed a bishounen.
Kurama/Shuuichi Minamino
Desert Rose (original) by Sting
Youtube Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjHkj-uSt_Y
Why - Well, let's start with the painfully obvious. Kurama uses plants, his first shown attack consisting of summoning a rose whip. Now onto the less obvious.
The song is hauntingly beautiful and mysterious. This fits Kurama very well. The mysterious part fits Shuuichi, the kind of quiet guy no one really knows and has an "air" about him. And on a side note, the song is about a hauntingly beautiful woman. Kurama is known for being mistaken as a flat chested girl. There's also the hints of hidden power implied in the lyrics and even the melody itself.
Th other part of the song title "Desert" is very fitting of the Makai/Demon Realm, at least that of the manga. The lands looks fairly barren. The song mainly fits Youko Kurama, but parts of it work for Shuuichi and I'm mildly surprised an AMV for him didn't come up with this song as one of the first results.
NiGHTS

Why: First, to avoid the painfully obvious "Dreams Dreams" song. But beyond that, its really quite a bit more fitting to NiGHTS. This song is a sort of remix that was used in some game with a NiGHTS pinball stage (Sonic Adventure 1, I THINK). It uses parts of Dreams Dreams, but has got far more energy and just a touch of sass, quite fitting to NiGHTS. It also avoids the lyrics of Dreams Dreams, which are the lyrics to a love song and is either too soft (Sweet Snow) or has two genders for the voices (Adult, Child). I just picture this as being far more NiGHTS and while I love Dreams Dreams, it avoids the terrible sappiness that just doesn't fit the character.
Suzu
Tomorrow by SR-17
Youtube Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeHSoz7zyl0
Why: It captures Suzu's real personality. The first parts talk about "if I were younger" - Well, Suzu ain't young. The worlds were different when he was sealed, and he's still dealing with the changes. He feels he has to be more on guard because of it and the changes are really throwing him for a tumoil. The song is pretty intense, fitting with the charade he's putting on to mask said turmoil, which the lyrics reference. There is also references to inner fire, which relates to his power and his blade. "Afraid of myself" references the fear he's going to do something stupid. He's not afraid of tomorrow, he'll merely bullrush through it. Keep in mind he'd never admit the feelings of this song, though.
Ruby "Aby" Akai
Combat Baby by Metric
Youtube Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld5tFzpfv1o
Why: The lyric has kind of a cute "rocker teen" feel to it, which despite Aby's mid-twenties is really what she looks like. Too much bling for one (the bracelets. XD) Also, the general feel of the song, its about taking names and being annoyed at things in general. However, it also works as a song that references the pairing me and Jilak have decided exists between his Rax'aar and Aby. He's really one of the few that'll put up with her abuse and she'd probably be unsure what to do if he decided to walk away on her. I also find the "do doo doo" part rather fitting to Aby...
The last line is particurlarly fitting to the pairing. Rax'aar's freakouts and Aby's tendency to beat on him (all time low).
Ginger/Ginko Rei
Omatsuri by Arai Akino (Japanese, translation at bottom)
Youtube Link: www.animelyrics.com/jpop/araiakino/omatsuri.htm
Why: Well, the first thing that struck me was the presence of the word "kitsune" (fox) in the lyrics. But the general mystical mysteriousness of the song is amazingly fitting. It captures Ginger as a spirit like she should be. I chose to focus on the fact that she is a fox spirit and found a song to fit it. The song is about the mysticism present in Japanese festivals, and implies the otherworldly beauty Ginger possesses. Its more for the general feel of the song than the lyrics.
OMATSURI TRANSLATION (mostly from animelyrics.com)
As children always play
The shrine changes into flutes and taiko drums
Faraway, nearby, echoing
Before one realizes, they have strayed from the path
Fascinated by scattering flowers of fire in the sky
OMATSURI
MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE TONIGHT
A mysterious evening is coming
There may be a way out
From that world over there
Who?
Eyes covered, soft hands
Who are you, with the white fox mask?
OMATSURI
MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE TONIGHT
A mysterious evening is coming
There may be a way out
From that world over there
OMATSURI
MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE TONIGHT
A circle of dancers
Children in YUKATA turn around
That is probably me
OMATSURI...
(NOTES: Omatsuri has no direct translation, but references a traditional Japanese festival, a yukata is a summer kimono iirc - All capped words are taken directly from the song, meaning the English ones were sung in English)
