She has minor weather-controlling capabilities, allowing her to manipulate rain, snow, wind, temperature, storms, etc. to some degree, but only once she has familiarized herself with the planet's atmosphere. She also has somewhat of a mental connection with Andromeda and can instantly learn any language by licking a person where they hear.

History
Aether –like all members of her species– was born from a dying star in the galaxy that rests above Andromeda's home world; upon creation, she was sent to the Peaceful Warrior planet and adopted by Andromeda. Because of her owner's mute nature, Aether's main duty has been to act as Andromeda's translator, a job she has fulfilled with honor for years. Aether voluntarily accompanied Andromeda when she escaped her planet, and has adapted very well to life on Earth, forming equally tight bonds with Swift and her friends.
