Signer
Yusei bares a mark of the Crimson Dragon's head on his left arm, granting him a degree of supernatural protection and the ability to share that protection with others nearby. It also gives him a link to the Crimson Dragon itself, which in some cases allowed him to borrow its power to access Clear Mind or travel through time in one instance. However, the Crimson Dragon will only lend aid when strictly necessary, and for some reason it rarely ever seems to be strictly necessary except for if it involves winning a card game. The Signer mark also allows Yusei to see spirits, both of duel monsters and humans.
Clear Mind
Clear Mind is the ability to control Ener-D with one's own heart. It is required in order to perform an Accel Synchro Summon. In a sense, Clear Mind can be a state in which a person frees him/herself from all the negativity in their minds and hearts. It actually doesn't have any active use outside of dueling, but Antinomy once caused a star to collapse when performing a Delta Accel Synchro Summon in Top Clear Mind.

Champion Duelist
Yusei is an exceptional duelist, having almost never lost a single game of Duel Monsters in canon. His ability to come up with strategies on the fly and adapt to any situation have earned him an impressive reputation, even despite his friends sometimes pointing out that he "uses a lot of the same moves" as he has for years. Even with few changes to his overall strategy, Yusei is very talented and certainly a difficult opponent to face in a duel.
Adept Brawler
Yusei has actually displayed impressive combat ability on a few occasions, defeating several guards at once or performing similar feats of above-average athletic ability. He may not be an outright superhuman fighter, but he can hold his own well enough.
Duel Runner Enthusiast
Yusei is a skilled mechanic, able to build his own Duel Runner and maintain it without any problems. Due to the existence of Turbo Duels, he's also a great at driving a Runner, showing spectacular ability at doing so.
Personality:
Yusei is often serious, calm, and clear-minded even in the most dangerous of situations. He always thinks things through, and takes measures to stay many steps ahead of his opponents in duels, which is what makes him an excellent strategist and nearly undefeated duelist. He strongly believes in the bonds people share, and will selflessly go out of his way to ensure the protection of those around him. Yusei's passionate "never give up" attitude is nigh-impossible to break, and he'll always believe with all his heart in the possibility of a bright future for humanity. Even against impossible odds, Yusei has shown profound willpower. He dislikes those who look down on what they consider to be "weak", as he considers even those with seemingly little strength to have great power with enough work.
History:
Yusei is the main protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, and as such, the card game known as Duel Monsters has always had a huge impact on his life and the world around him. Ever since he was young, he's played the game with passion, never doubting in the strength of even his weakest cards. As he grew older, he would face many trials, but they were overcome with Yusei's own inner strength, as well as the bonds he shares with his friends and the mighty Crimson Dragon. Quite some time after defeating Z-ONE in what was surely the most difficult duel of his life, Yusei found himself on Dimensional Island while riding his Duel Runner, clueless as to what brought him there. One thing's for sure, though, he'll be all set to rev it up and kick things into overdrive no matter what challenge awaits him!
