Full Name: Trevor Parker
Nickname(s): Joe Carmack (fake identity)
Age:32
Height: 182 cm
Weight: 79 kg
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alliance: Good
Home: Unspecified American small town
Franchise: OC
Physical Description
Somewhat tall, somewhat slim, and somewhat muscular individual. Has dark hair and blue eyes. Due to some organisation (see Backstory) pursuing him, he covers his face, and puts special focus on covering his scar on a chin, which he got during an encounter with some ordinary bandit back when he was 19. As Carmack, he wears a fake beard, aviator glasses, and a brown, medium-length hair wig. When not being Joe, he just covers himself with hoodies and bandanas obscuring his face. He likes the red color (rosso corsa particularly), so he usually has some red accents in his clothing.
Weapons
He carries a knife in case of emergencies, but he mainly fights with technological devices (see Abilities).
Abilities/Powers
Glitch-causer:
Trevor can make a piece of technology fail (in relatively minor manner). While he can target this power at a specific part, instead of given device in overall, he cannot choose the manner in which the device fails (targetting it at a computer may reset it for an instance, but it can also make it delete some files or turn off the cooling fans.
Tech-scanner:
Trevor is able to "seethrough" a device, allowing him to diagnose failures more easily. It also allows him to see electric flow, which allows him to see the problems of electrical (and electronical, if he does enough research on device electronics before).
Tech-Manipulator:
Parker can manipulate technological devices. Usually it is restricted to what he would able to do if he was just controlling the device without any powers, but if he does enough research on the device in question, he can trigger not-meant-for-public use functions.
Data-reader:
Parker is able to read data from various electronical data storages. It's restricted to most common file systems (and file formats, unless he does research on file format in question) though, and can not by-pass any potential encryption.
All of these abilities obviously are harder to utilise if the device comes from the future or divergent technology. Obviously, technopathic powers can be much wider, but getting hang of new powers is simply harder than perfecting the ones already learnt.
Skills
Master (almost) Mechanic:
Trevor, partly due to Tech-scanner and partly due to training does very well, when it comes to repairing various mechanical, electrical and electronical devices. He specialises in car repair, but other devices can be repaired by him too, if less efficiently.
Skilled Scrounger:
Trevor sometimes creates various pieces of equipment, and he very often digs through scrapyard to obtain them. Therefore, he gained some skills in looking for the things he wants to find in the trash.
Exceptional Engineer:
Given enough time and resources, Trevor can design technological devices very well. (He's not really that exceptional, but I want Parker's skill names to be alliterative)
Beginner Brawler:
While not even close to martial art master, Parker can dish out some blows, and can use his knife in a way that does not bring harm to him.
Daredevil Driver:
Parker likes driving cars, and while he does not really know the traffic laws (except for the very basics), he has an above-average driving technique, especially in rough conditions. - he was forced to escape from the organisation agents, regardless of what was going on on the road or what the state of the vehicle was.
Personality
Well, Trevor does use his powers for his personal gain, in not necessarily moral ways, but he's good-spirited at heart. He tries to defend those who cannot defend themselves, and he can get angry when he sees some glaring injustice. In his work, he tries to be as precise as possible, and he often takes his time fixing up what he has to fix. He likes Italian cars very much.
History
Well, Trevor was always unlucky when it came to technology. Things broke in his hands, with no fault on his own. When he was 17, some men broke into his house and took him away from his parents, and then packed him into a van. He heard the glimpses of their conversations and found out that his uncontrolled technopathic abilities were causing things to broke, and that these guys are from some organisation trying to keep the world normal. He somehow managed to untie himself, and then looked on the lock. It could not have been opened from inside, so he thought "well, if I can break things inadvertendly, then perhaps I could take "in" out of this word". And he succeeded. He jumped out of the van, as it was standing on the red light, and was extremely lucky. Some guy saw his getting out and assumed the agents of that organisation are some ordinary kidnappers, and stopped them. He returned home, but his parents would not recognise him. Perhaps they've got their memories of him removed in some way... He then decided to lay low, train his powers and help those, who are not as lucky, be just like the man who saved him, while working parttime as a car mechanic under a fake personality of Joe Carmack.
