Full Name: Mumbo Jumbo
Nickname(s): Mumbo (This is what he is often referred to most), (You can blame Kazooie for these next few insulting ones. XD) Mumbo Dumbo, Bone Brain, Bonehead, Skirt boy, Hut boy, Bone face, Skull Boy, Mask Midget, and Short Stuff
Age:
Height: Why do you think Kazooie calls him Short Stuff?
Weight: I'm not think too heavy, but how are we supposed to know?
Gender: Male
Race: Actually, nobody knows this. Except Mumbo of course, but he's keeping that a secret due to certain...matters. However, it is assumed by many he is either a Jinjo or a Grublin. This is debatable since no one can tell what he was since he now has a skull head.
Alliance: Good
Home: During the events of Banjo-Kazooie, Mumbo used to live in Mumbo Mountain (Hence the name). However, due to the events in the beginning of Banjo-Tooie, Mumbo has resettled into the Mayahem Temple in the Isle 'O Hags.
Franchise: Banjo Kazooie
Physical Description
Pink skin with yellow on his belly, short, wears a skirt, and has a skull as a head due to Grunty's early curse. It has three red feathers on top. Blue eyes.
Weapons
Zap Stick
Abilities/Powers
With enough energy mustered (Preferably acquired from a Glowbo, Mumbo can cast many spells such as summoning, levitating objects, brining some objects back to life, powering some objects, and many others. He can also normally zap people with his staff. Mumbo used to have a reputation for having the ability to turn other creatures into another, but he has stopped this in Banjo-Tooie for an unknown reason.
Skills
Mumbo has quite the talent for using many instruments (Play that fiddle, Mumbo!). He is also a decent BBQ cooker. He is also a very decent magic caster. Or as he claims, Best Shaman in all of Gaming History.
Personality
If there is something Mumbo is, it's loyal. He has never stopped being a companion to Banjo and Kazooie (As hard as it is.) and he generally enjoys helping others in situations. However, when it comes to Humba Wumba, he has a permenant rivalry...There are those "few" occassions they get along, though. Mumbo is also seen to be somewhat prideful and cocky when he refers to himself as "the best", but this isn't a terrible habbit.
History
Although most of his past remains a mystery, there is enough to know who Mumbo was...in a nutshell that is. He repeatedly states that he was the best student at the Handsome Shaman Institute...Not sure if THAT is something worth believing, but whatever. One thing is for sure, Mumbo was a magic instructor of Gruntilda in the past. Unfortunately, his teaching s only gave him a one way trip to double crossing and Grunty turned to Dark Magic. With this, she transformed his once in flesh head into a skull (And THAT explains why his species is a mystery! No one will tell!)
Wanting revenge, Mumbo plots a way to bring forth a way of strike back to the evil hag. And just the luck for him when "Bear and Bird", or the heroes we all know as Banjo and Kazooie, enter the scene on the hunt for Grunty as well. In return for Mumbo Tokens, he could transform Banjo-Kazooie into many different animals to help him. He was, at first, only doing to restore his face into a normal state once again. The time where Grunty falls finally came. Although his face still remained a skull, Mumbo was satisfied with the results and he soon learned to live with his new head. He even met new companions and became even more willing.
Two years after Grunty's deafeat, Mumbo is seen participating (And even winning) in a poker game with Banjo, Kazooie, and Bottles. Unfortunately, ruckus stirs up as Gruntilda's sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda, bring Gruntilda back. Being the "brave" shaman he claimed he was, Mumbo was the first to observe this and the one to tell his companions of this horrid event. Unfortunately, that was just enough to get the attention of the hags in which Gruntilda strikes and kills off poor Bottles. Mumbo, planning revenge as Banjo and Kazooie were, prepared some new magic to get back at Grunty once again. In fact, Mumbo even does some own action himself by altering the enviroment with powerful, new magic instead of trnasformation. In fact, he meets a magic rival, Humba Wumba in which she uses transformation magic instead. After a gruelling quest, Grunty was deafeated for good and Banjo, Kazooie, and their companions could finally live in peace. And for once, Mumbo called a temporary truce with Humba to gain a friendship with her.
Unfortunately, Mumbo never got a long enough break to enjoy peace. Little did everyone know, Mingella and Blobbelda were still at large, only this time, they weren't relying on Grunty this time. Oh no. They want to do it themselves. After time, the two dreaded hags develop unknown spells that reach into further, unknown dimensions for evil. Mumbo quickly finds out and attempts a stop at this madness. He succeeds, but this also gets him into Dimensional Island. Hoping to find some help, or even work by himself, Mumbo steps into the newly found world. Everyone, get ready to meet the Best Shaman in All Game!
Other
English is not a first language of Mumbo's. He speeks in third person and doesn't refer to evertone by their proper names. (Example: He always refers to Banjo and Kazooie as "Bear" and "bird".) Although in a rivalry, the aggressive relationship with Humba has given Mumbo unnexpected, yet oblivious, "feelings" towards her. He never admits this though since he thinks the rivalry is more important.
