Paul has a distinctly draconic, semi-demonic appearance. He has blue, scaly skin, blue-black, shoulder-length hair, yellow, snake-like eyes, pointed ears, sharp teeth, claws, nubby, dark blue, semi-developed horns, and a pointed, prehensile tail. He tends to dress casually, typically preferring dark or neutral colors; his usual attire is a navy blue tee-shirt with a white tee-shirt underneath, black jeans, black and white converses, and occasionally a black jacket hoodie.
Weapons
He prefers not to use weapons, but if he must, he's good with melee weapons, particularly daggers or knives.
Abilities/Powers
His skin is extremely thick and tough, highly resistant against damage and electricity, and able to withstand blows from most blades and slow-moving projectiles. His strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, and healing are well beyond the peak of natural human potential. His senses are also incredibly well-tuned, particularly his sight and hearing; he can see clearly in near total darkness and hear virtually anything within a mile radius.
Weaknesses
The only thing his skin can't tolerate is acid.

His innate abilities make him a great acrobat and hand-to-hand fighter. He's a decent engineer, a quick thinker -sometimes even a deep thinker- and is good at dealing with tough situations, whether they be physical or emotional. He's also a pretty great singer and dancer, and he won't hesitate to let you know that.

Most of the time, Paul maintains a very optimistic, outgoing, friendly and empathetic nature. He always tries to keep his chin up and put his best foot forward, displaying a love for adventure and a caring attitude towards those who have not betrayed his trust. He's not one for self-pity; he only chastises himself when he feels he deserves it and never uses his condition as an excuse or a sob story. Nonetheless, although he acts like people's natural fear of his appearance doesn't bother him, deep down it still does, but he's at least strong enough to accept his fate regardless.
History
Paul was born a perfectly normal human, growing up in the Pacific Northwest with his parents, his older brother Scott, his younger brother Troy, and his youngest sister Amy. For the first few years of his life, Paul had an average childhood. Then, when he was about six, he inexplicably began his transformation that slowly took place over several years; his baby teeth and fingernails fell out and were replaced by fangs and claws, his eyes and hair changed color, his skin turned blue and scaly, and his tail grew out. By the time he reached puberty, his appearance had fully changed into the form he now has, garnering various reactions from his family. His mother showed him the most sympathy, refusing to subject him to experimentation, but forced him to stay inside and homeschooled him; his father avoided him, practically disowning him; Scott despised him; Troy resented him; Amy was terrified of him.
When Paul was fourteen, Scott outed Paul to his classmates, and the resulting word of mouth led to the whole town turning against Paul and the Sellers family. Images leaked to the internet caught the attention of PHASE, a secret government sect that deals in the supernatural. When agents came and peacefully offered to take him, Paul willingly went with them to save his family from humiliation. During his time with PHASE, despite being occasionally tested on, he was treated with respect and care; he finished his schooling at their facility and was able to make both human and non-human friends. Over the years, though scientists were unable to determine what had led to Paul's transformation or how to reverse it, he continued to work with PHASE on various projects. Then, one day, a new invention went haywire and Paul suddenly disappeared...
