Weight: Depends on host; actual body is barely a few ounces
Gender: Unisex; identifies as Male
Race: Necrotroph (a race of demon)
Alliance: Neutral/Chaotic Evil
Home: None
Franchise: OC
Physical Description
In his true form, Jack appears to be nothing more than a small mass of black slime, no bigger than an egg. He can alter his shape in very miniscule ways, but typically only to aid in transportation, i.e. stretching and constricting like a worm or producing leg-like tendrils.
Most of the time, Jack prefers to take control of a host body, so his usual appearance depends on who he is currently controlling. The only noticeable physical change that occurs when he infects a host is that their eyes turn a milky, blue-silver color and glow in the dark (think Riddick's eyes.) He also prefers to dress his hosts in formal wear, typically a white dress shirt, black tie, black tailcoat, white gloves, black pants, black belt, and black dress shoes; he owns a black trilby and a black walking stick, which he will almost always adorn his host with, and if he needs to go out in sunlight, he will also wear black goggles.
Weapons and Accessories
His walking stick doubles as a melee weapon and a mage staff. Aside from that, he'll take what he can get, but he prefers not to use weapons.
Abilities/Powers
Jack's primary power is taking control of any host body of his choosing. He achieves this by entering his host through an orifice and wiring himself into their hindbrain and spinal cord; the host is still conscious and self-aware, but Jack controls all motor functions. He can remove himself at any time, but forcibly removing him can be harmful and potentially fatal to the host. He still must abide by the body's needs (food, sleep, etc.), but even if the body dies, Jack's true form is virtually indestructible.
Naturally, he is extremely adept at enchantment, magic that influences others' minds or behaviors. Performing spells is easier through the use of his staff, which he can only wield while controlling a host; on his own, generally, the most he can do is lull potential victims to keep them from resisting when he infects them. He has minimal knowledge of conjuration too, but he really only uses this to summon his trilby and walking stick. He can see perfectly in total darkness, a trait that carries over to his host; oftentimes, should the host survive upon Jack's removal, they will retain slightly enhanced night vision. He can also copy the powers of those he infects for later use through future hosts. Thus far, he has obtained super strength, flight, invisibility, intangibility, pyrokinesis, umbrakinesis, and the Witch of Blood powers he received from Todd.
Weaknesses
Jack is extremely photosensitive. Bright light will blind him if he's in a host body and severely hurt (but not kill) him in his natural form. Otherwise, Jack's only weaknesses are those that apply to his current host.
Skills
He is quite poetic and musical, evidenced by his constant rhyming. He can sing (even when controlling a host who cannot sing, Jack still somehow manages to make their voice sound perfect) and play piano, xylophone, violin, cello, flute, and piccolo. He's also notorious for his destructive capabilities; he can easily find a way to level a city block if he so chooses.
Personality
Jack is little more than a rebel without a cause. He has no real goal in life other than to enjoy it, but seeing as how he is a creature of darkness with a parasitic nature, his concept of fun is demented and destructive to say the least. He fancies himself an artist who sees beauty in chaos and the world as his canvas. He does what he wants when he wants, and all of his actions, whether they be low-key or criminally insane, aren't driven by any desire to spread misery or true evil intent, but by his philosophy of SURE, WHY THE HECK NOT. Still, he's not above making allies if they truly pique his interest, but he's such an unpredictable time bomb that it really shouldn't surprise anyone if he acts out against the people who think they have his trust. He does have his charm, though; possibly even a sensitive side.
History
Like so many necrotrophs before him, Jack was born in the Netherworld, escaped to the human world and survived through a lineup of hosts. From the early eighties to the late two thousands, he passed from body to body, leaving untold chaos and destruction in his wake as a result of his reckless fun. Somewhere down the line, he gained some demon followers, as well as Ace Spade, an angel who fell as a result of her love for Jack; their relationship last only a few months before Jack's chaotic nature and inappropriate advances turned Ace away.
Shortly after her departure, Jack was confronted by a group of angels who attempted to eliminate him by any means. When this proved fruitless, with Jack having killed all but two of the angels, one of them finally managed to expel him from his current host while the other, Kendall, banished Jack to a pocket realm beyond space and time. He was trapped there for quite a while until he discovered Dimensional Island at a time when it was covered in the dark fog, successfully crossing over through a rip in the void. During the events of Fright Island, he possessed a few hosts and even came across Ace and her new boyfriend, Patrick. A hectic encounter with the duo resulted in Jack being expelled from his host and imprisoned in the void once more.
Soon enough, the one who created his means of escaping the void freed him once more. And there's still so much that Jack Trades has to do here...
Other
Jack speaks entirely in rhyme; very rarely, though, he will be startled or angered enough to break this pattern.
