Full Name: Erin Colvard
Nickname(s): Erin, the Thief, Thief of Void, GG, the Nothing,
Age: 18
Height: 5’4
Weight: Won’t say (Is actually about as heavy as Alex.)
Gender: Female
Race: Human (God-Tier Thief of Void)
Alliance: Lawful Neutral (does her best to do good by herself and by others.)
Home: Has no one home.
Franchise: DCStuck
Physical Description
When she first began her game in DCstuck, she was a normal looking young woman with black hair, slicked down in the front yet spikey in the back reaching down to her lower neck, wearing a light blue shirt with a dark blue 'Soul Calibur' symbol on the front, black windsuit pants with red trims, and black shoes, topped with a cross necklace...
Now adays however, she wears tattered old dark blue traditional type of ninja dogi, consisting of a sleeveless dark blue and black upper garment, baggy pants, arm guards, and a mask that conceals the lower half of her face. Her footwear consists only of cloth bandages that are wrapped around her shins, ankles, and instep. The 'Void' symbol is imprinted on the chest of the of the robes. Along with that, her hair is tied up with bandages to create a flowing black ponytail.
Along with that, he has several other changes of clothes that serve as his alternate costumes. One of these look similar to the clothes worn by Soul Calibur character Xianghua, while the other looks like the clothes worn by Avatar Korra from the Legend of Korra series. You can see both below.
Weapons
1 weaponkind is with this mini-god
Primary
racketKind - Inspired by the weapons of the Selkie Race from ‘Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles’, Rackets are wooden or metal clubs that are roughly shaped like tennis rackets with longer handles (Ironic since this Kind started with Tennis rackets before Erin added a bo-staff to the mix). After a long series of adventures, she has a collection of powerful rackets at her disposal.
-Dreamcatcher; a celtic looking silver and goldish racket with a moon insignia in the center. While not Erin’s first weapon, the Dreamcatcher was created by taking that first weapon and reforging it with other rare metals from around his planet. Due to this, the Dream Catcher is his go to weapon more often then not. He often dual wields Dreamcatcher and the Ultima Maul, but if he should pick between the two for a single weapon, Dreamcatcher is the one he'd go with.
- Ultima Maul; Physically the strongest weapon in Erin’s collection, it’s a highly decorative weapon that’s colored purple and gold and decorated with a number of runes; a decoration that Erin’s server installed to further increase the spiritual power output of the weapon. Even holding it, boosts Erin’s void powers by a margin 0f 40%.
-Prism Bludgeon; A more experimental weapon then anything else, Erin created the Prism Bludgeon to create something akin to a Mirror Shield weapon that he could use as an alternate light source on his world. The Prism Bludgeon is especially useful against many of the shadow themed monsters that lived on LoAaC and it continues to have its more odd uses as time goes on.
Abilities/Powers
Being a God-Tier, Erin's Thief of Void Powers are thoroughly apparent. As the name suggests, she has the power to steal the void off of people with it... But what does that entail you may ask?
Well, the Thief of Void is capable of stealing the void, or nothingness off of people; doing as such gives makes them much more noticeable to other people, no matter whether they be friend or foe. In otherwords, the Thief of Void is capable of stealing Anonymity. When she steals enough off of one person, said person becomes so noticeable, that he or she becomes the most sought after person in the game. Meanwhile, if the thief of Void steals enough anonymity for himself, she becomes invisible to even the most omniscient figure in the game of Sburb. It is with this Anonymity that the Thief of Void has earned the 'Ninja of DC' petname shared between her and her companions.
However, the Thief can also plant her void on another person or thing. For example, if she should place a certain amount of void into any one person, said person becomes as invisible and anonymous as a hero of Void themselves... However, as their is a certain amount of void that the thief can steal before a situation can become dire, their's also a certain amount that the thief can give. As the thief is the hero of Void, she is the only one in his session who can safely use the void, others who possess too much void become so anonymous that others forget about their companion’s existence. It is only when the void is taken away again that those will remember the non-hero of Void once more.
Along with this admittedly abstract power, Erin has control over the void as well in certain aspects, such as using a tiny pocket dimension of void that she keeps by her side as a makeshift Captchalogue. All she needs to do is imagine the item she needs, send a non-verbal order to the pocket dimension and the item produces itself in a hurry. It can be noted that he can also use his powers to actually steal enemies as well, sending them to THE void; a piece of null space far far far away from the universe they are in, but is still close in some fashion. Unfortunately however, this power only works if you can trick the enemy into a portal or capture them.
Along with abilities centered around storing things within the void and taking them out at leisure, Erin will also, very soon, discover a power that allows him to TAKE items using the void.
In the official Homestuck canon storyline, it has recently been revealed via current events that Roxy, a Rogue of Void, is capable of seemingly creating items out of thin air by stealing void from the universe, technically CREATING it in some cases (Which is proven when she seems to make several Matriorbs for the Condesce). Much like Roxy, Erin can also seemingly create items in a similar fashion, but there is one big notable difference.
Instead of seemingly creating the item, the item has to exist before hand, so that it can be effectively 'Stolen' from an existing space. By this logic, Erin could steal the whole of Fort Knox, a collection of books or movies or even smaller items, even if they existed on an entirely different world or if it existed on the other side of the planet. That is just the long distance abilities however. At short distances, Erin can perform thieving acts remniscient of a master pickpocket, and can expertly avoid suspicion by putting the stolen items into her Void Modus.
Along with these prime abilities, Erin also has access to three Fray-motif's of powerful force, they are as follows;
Shatterpoint: Called 'Armament Almagest' by Erin out of preference. An offensive attack that allows the thief to phase her weapons into void portals, and, through a series of portals around the enemy, cause them to rocket and ricochet from portal to portal. It's a particularly fast and powerful move since it's difficult to dodge the weapons.
Beyond the Veil: A powerful assault move that stands in replacement to Alex’s Whispers in the Dark. Throwing out punches as direction, Erin opens up a number of void portals which allows massive tentacles to launch out and swat away any competition they hit. Either that or the unknown creatures sucks the poor shmuck in….
Supermassive Black Hole: Many fraymotif’s pass as the most powerful in the entire game… And while this one ISN’T one of them, it comes PRETTY DAMN CLOSE. In all essence, this attack serves a similar purpose to a Grenade launcher, allowing Erin to fire out powerful bursts of negative matter, ensealed in a void bubble. When the bubble pops and the negative matter meets positive matter, it unleashes a massive concussive blast that was enough to take a chunk off of her Denizen’s HP. Unlike Scale Breaker, this move can be spammed for effect. Though there appears to be limits to even how many times Erin can use this attack.
As is the case with all Homestuck Godtiers, she also has the power to fly, and cannot be permanently killed unless the death is either 'Heroic' or 'Just'.
Skills
Erin is a very skilled video gamer, practically an addict. Not only that, but if you challenge her to a quiz regarding Final Fantasy Knowledge, she will win. She is simply the best there is.
[That was meant to be a joke, so don't hold me to that.] Being a fan of RPG games, she has treated his past situation like one of her RPG's and excelled due to it, even going so far as to discover effective means of level-grinding. It is due to this that she was the first of her group to god-tier.
In this new continuity, Erin has also had some time to practice other unique skills outside of the moveset of the typical Thief of Void, practicing with his skills to such an extent that she can actually directly interact with the void itself, using it as a means of fast travel to any point that he so wishes. More then that however, Erin can now interact with anyone trapped within the void, and can use her powers to temporarily free them, creating the closest thing to summoning charms that Sburb has yet seen.
Personality
The Beginning – Unlike her male counterpart, Erin used to be very energetic and fun-loving, having learned a great deal of her behavior from her older sister. Being fairly open-minded, she has tried a great number of new things over the years that Alex wouldn’t normally dare, including trying fine wine, and enjoying some degree of extended social interaction. However like Alex, she has very little confidence in her fighting abilities. When in her comfort zone, she is snarky and a bit of a smart-ass but treats it in a playful, loving and kind manner
In battle, Erin is very enthusiastic and will usually punch first and ask questions later, throwing all subtlety out the window as she wails on the opponent. This however, greatly differs from her actual role as a Thief of Void, so some COULD argue that she isn’t fighting at her full potential due to such…
While disappointed at first with the Thief of Void title, Erin eventually accepted it. Due to a number of incidents however, she has come to see her powers as potentially harmful to others and tries her best to keep such usage to herself and her personal projects, such as thefts of important objects in the game and even fighting off powerful foes. As such, she tends to be a bit of a loner on the job but an open and nice person when she’s ‘off the clock’. There are times though when one wonders if she does view herself as bad or evil…….
Present – Where one certain version of Aaron seems to be trying to open up more to life and to enjoy himself, this version of him seems a bit more closed off then she had been previously. Believing herself responsible for constantly distracting the others with her grandstanding, thereby preventing Petra from properly focusing on breeding the frog needed to create a new world at the end of the game. While still playful and somewhat open, it’s clear she’s trying to become more withdrawn, believing she no longer deserves friends that care for her.
History
Pre SBURB – Erin was a simple video game nerd who liked writing and talking to a bunch of equally dorky friends on the internet. His family life was… Rough but not unmanageable, with a grumpy younger teenage brother, a caring Doctor father and an energetic dog that liked thinking himself the guardian of the house. It was many days spent in peace, between gaming, writing, working a job and attending her last remaining classes at college… Then she overheard something about a new game coming out from her friends called SBURB.
Post SBURB – While initially in her element, and simply enjoying playing a game, Aaron was also juggling a number of other stressing issues concerning starting the game. The destruction of Earth, the uprooting of her family at home, the deaths of basically everyone else… And even worse than that, continually making mistakes throughout the game that end up costing the team dearly. The biggest mistake however, was entrusting a powerful ring to a seeming friend on Derse in the hopes that he can help out with the game itself. Instead, the ring mutated the man and transformed him into a beastly piece of work that many came to know as the ‘Raven’, whom was good at killing; mostly other SBURB players.
While Raven was eventually dealt with, the damage had been dealt and other damages only continued to crop up. Enraged by everything going wrong and it seemingly being her fault, Erin became more boastful and proud, challenging the game’s multiple villains all on her own on multiple occasions, under the pretense of protecting her friends before they came to even further harm. Good intentions, harmful results. This, of course, was a cause of distraction for her fellow gameplayers, keeping a number of them from being incapable of completing their assigned jobs in the game and keeping them from winning the game fully; in spite of the fact that the players actually managed to DEFEAT the Black King of their session… Since then, the game fell dead and dormant, forcing the players to seek new passages elsewhere, whether they be in the Dream Bubbles… Or somewhere new entirely…
Erin herself found Dimensional Island a number of months after the game ended…
Other
There is even more to this story then meets the eye………
Whenever Erin talks to someone long distance on Pesterchum, her Chumhandle is 'gatzGattling' and 'she types with light blue text, with proper pronounciation. Though she is prone to use elipses and emoticons, she usually only does this with close friends, choosing to be proper with others.'
For her trip on Dimensional Island, Alex has a special keyboard which is an entire computer built in. The keyboard can display a holographic screen that works just as well as a computer moniter, which has built in Wi-Fi, Pesterchum, and a few computer games from her old home... Though one can tell they are only there because they were installed by Erin during his early days in the game, to serve as a reminder of his old home. The computer is further detailed with a Reaverbot eye design from Megaman Legends.
Erin holds on to a great amount of guilt from the previous session of Sburb and more recent events, and as thus, tries to avoid anything related to it if at all possible...
However, that may be more difficult then she thinks...
