Gender: Female
Race: Dragon (Is a descendent of the mythical Chinese Dragons that were once revered as gods.)
Alliance: Chaotic Neutral (Like Sal, it depends on the circumstances.)
Home: A lake in the underworld with the rest of her family.
Franchise: ‘Hell of a Good Time’ (Original Story)
Physical Description
Many theorize that the descendents of the ancient Chinese dragons, the rulers of the seas, rivers, lakes and other bodies of water still live very active and politically influenced lives… However THAT was several years ago. The truth of the matter is that Chinese dragons soon grew disinterested in the politics of divine figures and soon dropped out of the race, taking up residence in simple nests with the usual amount of decadence. As such, Bonnie is dressed similarly to a country gal, dressed in a pink shirt with red polkadots, a matching ribbon and wearing pink rings on her wrists, ankles, her tail and even sporting two as ear-rings. Appearance wise, she looks more crocodile then Dragon (Fitting since the Chinese dragons were inspired by Crocodiles of yore), being light green in skin and having dark green hair. Her hair tends to obscure a great deal of her face, hiding her snout like nose and a pair of golden eyes. Indeed, if ANYONE is going to remember Bonnie for anything, it’s the mischievous smirk lined with a row of VERY sharp teeth.
Weapons
Like Sal, Bonnie doesn’t typically use weapons, needing only her claws. However, her teeth is also a viable option for fighting gear as, like a Crocodile, she has a VERY powerful bite, and once she’s latched on it’s tough to get her off. When she DOES use weapons however, Bonnie is mostly very improvised, usually using staves, nunchakus and knuckle claws.
Abilities/Powers
As is fairly typical with Dragons however, Bonnie is much more powerful than initial appearances might suggest. Chinese water dragons all have a particular capability that gives them powerful Hydrokinesis, allowing them to create powerful waves from seemingly nothing or even using them to create weapons or simplistic attacks. One of Bonnie’s most noteworthy attacks however allows her to create similar circumstances to the Pokemon Move Surf, where-in she creates a powerful tidal wave from every available water source nearby and uses it to wipe out her enemies, typically with her riding on the surf like a giddy little child. The size of the tidal wave however DEPENDS a great deal on how much water is available, though Bonnie can compensate smaller waves with sheer speed and force, either tripping them with smaller waves or still knocking over opponents whole sale with waves up to a normal person’s gut.
Weaknesses
Bonnie is INCREDIBLY scrappy and competitive. Heck, THREE of the conditions in her contract with Sal strictly states that she wants to fight literally ANYONE the two comes across that want to pick a fight. As such, she will accept any kind of fighting invitation… Even against demons of an electrical or ice based element which have a natural leg-up against her. As you might guess, Bonnie is a water dragon and since water conducts electricity, this makes her naturally susceptible to attacks of this element. She can also be frozen in water if faced off against an Ice demon that’s powerful enough to insta-freeze or even close, which is not a good factor since Bonnie is actually very much cold-blooded. A lot of the time, she depends on Sal’s heat powers to keep her body warm and moving.
Skills
Unlike Sal, Bonnie does have a few hobbies to speak of that she proudly takes part in; competitive swimming, spitting contests (which often just become contests to see who can spit out the strongest stream of water), kickboxing, Rock-breaking, wrestling and others. She’s known as her family’s strongest wrestler and often challenges Sal to contests as such, though she is often the loser due to the fire demon’s natural strength and durability… Or at least she would be in a STRAIGHT ON contest. She often cheats though. Yeah, she cheats HARD.
Personality
Loud, proud, scrappy and peppy, Bonnie is pretty much the exact opposite of Sal, being a preppy girl with a love of fun no matter what the form it might take. As Sal’s polar opposite, she tends to be the one that talks the most and will often be the one that forms people’s initial negative impressions of the two first, making her both a key figure in the twosome’s mediations. As such, she’s typically foul mouthed and quick to jump to conclusions. However such is normally the case with demons, as they live largely in the mindset of ‘Why not?’, which makes them, and to that extent Bonnie, largely uninhibited.
If you gain this girl’s trust, chances are however she will be a close ally till the end of time. Dragons remember their favors and never fail to keep their promises, and Bonnie is no exception to this.
History
In ancient history and myths in the human world, the Chinese Dragons were revered as gods. Powerful beings capable of summoning wind and rain, creating powerful tsunamis filling up massive reservoirs full of water, and, as typical of dragons, keeping large treasure horde’s full of gold, jewels and ancient artifacts… What many don’t know about Dragons however (Even though it’s often even stated in the ancient texts) is that dragons are lovers of not only decadence, but also social gatherings, throwing massive parties filled with extravagant music, exquisite food and drink and sparkling conversation.
Then things started happening that was outside of any dragon’s control. The highest and mightiest of the Ocean Dragon Kings, Ao-Kuang, the very dragon that was visited by the Monkey King in Journey to the West for his Wishing Staff, was defeated by an unruly and mischievous child god Nezha whom cruelly demonstrated his power in victory by forcing Ao-Kuang to take the form of a regular sized blue snake.
Utterly humiliated by their king’s loss and enraged at the sheer audacity of the infant demi-god Nezha, the dragons kidnapped his family, forcing him to sulkingly commit suicide as repentance for his actions. The actions of the god served as a massive egg in the face for the dragons as they released the demi-god’s parents forthwith. While the dispute was settled however, the dragons found that the defeat and the messy ending utterly ruined any influence they had in the courts of divinity. While still gods of water, the great reptiles soon resigned from divine politics and became an introverted species, taking into account a love of napping, reading, and lounging amongst their riches…
MANY MANY YEARS PASSED…
Bonnie herself was born to a large family of dragons living in a lake, the bottom of said lake positively COVERED with a veritable mountain of gold and jewels that requires constant attention and loving from its owners. Even from a young age however, lounging in such decadence did not really appeal to Bonnie. Her sheer energy would often force her numerous brothers and sisters to invent a bunch of other new ways to pass the time, only to find that none of them could fully sate Bonnie. It got to the point that the elders theorized that the girl herself is a personification of the tribe’s ancestors. That she was feeling impulses normally felt by dragons of the olden days when they wished to throw a party or start mischief in the human realm…
For a time however, Bonnie was… Not really happy, but content with her living conditions. Her siblings were loving and understanding. They actually grew to love many of the new games invented to sate the naturally energetic Bonnie, and life only got better…
HOWEVER… One day, the great lake received news that a powerful Ifrit was approaching the terrain.
And when Bonnie jumped out of the lake to meet the demon, she was surprised to meet a young royal demon named Sal, whom was looking to make a contract with the otherwise exiled Dragon Gods.
Other
Her relationship with Sal can pretty much be described as… Complicated. At the best of times, the two are like brother and sister. At the worst, they are intense rivals that enter frequent shouting matches ending with wrestling matches for dominance. Eventually, this seemed to become a kind of respect for one another and the two seem to instinctively watch each other’s backs. She’s, quite possibly, the only person that can call Sal ‘tiny’ and not get socked in the face for it.
