Full Name: James Bard
Nickname(s): Jamie, the Barbarian's Vessel, Mzeem (soul name)
Age: 23 at death
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 175 lbs... or maybe weightless?
Gender: Male
Race: Human Spirit
Alliance: Neutral
Home: WAS Acheron Heights; now Kelsey Page's soulscape
Franchise: On the Banks of Acheron (Original Story)
Physical Description
Jamie is a tall, muscular young man with lightly tanned skin and messy, curly black hair. His eyes are a blank, hollow white, devoid of irises or pupils. The clothes projected by his astral body are a plain tee-shirt, jeans and converses, all of which are stark white.
Weapons and Accessories
None.
Abilities/Powers
As a ghost, Jamie is able to fly, phase through solid matter, and alter the shape and size of his astral body at will. He also possesses high resistance to demonic energy. Any other noteworthy powers were lost to him upon the death of his physical body.
Weaknesses
As a vessel, though he is highly resilient to energy, his soul has incredibly weak resistance against mental and spiritual manipulation. The amnesia isn't very helpful either...
Skills
None. He doesn't really have the memories or the means to obtain any useful skills.
Personality
Jamie has no idea who he is, where he is, or why he is. As such, he's sort of a blank slate, just sort of existing with no real purpose; at least not one that he's aware of. He has been growing frustrated at the monotony of his short life, so much so that he might just be on the brink of madness. Or at least total emotional collapse Still, if he could just find some kind of identity, or at least proof that he's not the only thing that exists in the universe, he could maybe start to grow into himself a little more...
History
Jamie was one of a dozen children bred by the Blood Elders to be a vessel for a member of the Noble Ring of Archdemons. At birth, the cultists summoned the archdemon Giniliv'inidgloth, the Barbarian, and sealed him within Jamie's body, granting him complete control of his host. For the entirety of his life, Jamie's soul laid dormant as Gin's will suppressed it, rendering him unable to access his own brain.
Gin spent his time on Earth strengthening Jamie's body and honing his combat skills, transforming him into a warrior. In his young adult years, Gin was recruited to retrieve Alakqualyn'aleaniryn's rogue vessel, who had entered into a blood pact with the Disgrace Trielvyr'auvryar. Upon confronting the vessel, Kelsey Page, Gin engaged her in an intense battle that Kelsey was eventually able to defeat him in. With help from Tri, she extracted Gin and banished him to oblivion, and yet Jamie's soul was still unable to take control of his body, having been deprived of the necessary developmental stages. Thus, at Tri's insistence, Kelsey absorbed Jamie's soul to free him from his catatonic state.
Upon his arrival in Kelsey's soulscape, Jamie quickly started to develop the language and cognitive abilities he never got to in life. Nonetheless, he lacked any memories of his former life, including his own name and Gin's possession of his body. Thus, for several weeks, Jamie was left to wander the realm he had woken up in, alone, confused, knowing only what he had woken up with, and slowly going mad from the isolation...
Other
Really starting to hate the beach.
