Physical Description: Ion has short dark green hair. He keeps the sides pulled into hairclips that make the hair go down in two strands on the sides of his face. He also wears a greenish-yellow headdress. His skin is pale and his eyes are green. For clothing, Ion wears a green Order of Lorelei Fon Master's robe and white tights. For shoes, he wears gold slippers. Around his neck is a pendant shaped like a tuning fork. The staff Ion carries on some occasions also has a tuning fork shape at the end.
Weapons: A staff, though Ion never fights with it.
Abilities/Powers: As a Fon Master, Ion can use special fonic artes known as Daathic Fonic Artes, which are the only known artes that can open up the Daathic seals that guard the Sephiroth, however these are tiring on his replica body. He can also read the Score, though it is tiring for him to do so.

Personality: Ion is a very caring and trusting person, which has caused trouble for him so many times in the past that Anise likened him to a damsel in distress. He can forgive almost everyone, and his strong sense of justice lead him to stop the war that Grand Maestro Mohs was trying to start despite the fact he knew the war was in the Score.
History: Ion isn't the real Ion. The real Ion died a few years ago from a fatal sickness. While Ion was dying, replica data was extracted from him and was used to make a replica that would fool everyone in the Order to think that Ion was still alive. There were seven replicas in all, but only one had Ion's abilities, just not his stamina. In the end, five out of the seven were thrown into Mt. Zaleho. A sixth was stolen away by Van to eventually become the God General Sync, while the seventh became the new Fon Master. However, the Fon Master Guardian at the time, Arietta, would have most likely committed suicide if she knew the real Ion was dead, so she was relieved of her position and replaced with another Oracle Knight, Anise. When Ion found out about rumors of a war starting, he went to Malkuth to help stop the war between Kimlasca-Lanvaldear and Malkuth. While visiting Engeve, Ion met Luke fon Fabre and Tear Grants and helped them stop a liger pack from wiping out Engeve by enlisting the help of a cheagle named Mieu. Since then, Ion had been travelling with the group on and off, helping with various tasks and helping keep the peace. However, all good things have to come to an end. With Anise's (however unwilling) help, Grand Maestro Mohs kidnapped Ion and forced him to read the Planet Score, a full record of the world's memory. Reading the Score in small parts already made him weak, but reading the Planet Score killed Ion. He ended up fading into Seventh Fonons right in Luke's arms.
Other: An eighth replica of the Fon Master was created when Mohs wanted to read the Seventh Score. It was abandoned after doing so because Mohs could not accept a Score of calamity. The replica was then rescued by the group. It took a liking to Anise, so when they took him to Daath for his own safety, she named him Florian (which means "innocent one" in Ancient Ispanian.)
