"Tabuu is an incredibly powerful being with an enormous arsenal of moves," Meta-Knight explained ", He created the subspace army with things called shadow bugs. How he managed to get more is beyond me but whatever. He tried to suck the entire smash world into subspace and gather more power."
"Well let's hope he doesn't know we're here then," Culex added.

Enemies such as Spaaks and Primids in fighters started showing up to defend their turf. "People, we have bogeys" said Pine as he started firing his ship's blasters at the enemies.

"Great!" Terra said as he slashed any that flew past him into half. Meanwhile, Christian's stealth was blown as she blasted bogeys of her own. "Damnit!" She grabbed her communicator and spoke since Pine could now see her. "Hey, attack me and your ranks go down a number, k?!"

Meta-Knight and Culex jumped off of the ships and started to attack the enemies on the ground with rapid sword slashes.
"There's so many of them, where are they coming from?" Culex asked.
"Tabuu is creating them with shadow bugs," Meta-Knight explained as he slashed open an approaching primid ", Where he's getting the shadow bugs is beyond me."

"Me too" said Falco as he opened up the cockpit of Pine's Arwing, pulled out a plasma cannon and hopped on the wing. He started blasting down Primids and other things.

Culex and Meta-Knight fought off many of the surrounding Primids but there were so many of them.
"This is getting ridiculous, how the hell are we to continue!?" Culex asked.
"Remember, we are fighting an entire army," Meta-Knight reminded the dark knight.
Suddenly above, Tabuu appeared once again.
"Are you all having fun with my army?" he asked, and evil smirk plastered on his face.
