Abilities/Powers: Shaun is able to create a flash of light that can remove a person's senses (hearing, sight, touch, etc.) He can't control who is affected by the light; it just affects anyone too close to it. The power is weakless against telepaths or beings with some other sense, like a radar-sense, telepathy, or a danger-sense. He can take away the loss of senses with a second flash, although this is more difficult for him.
Skills: Shaun is a talented hacker and computer-expert.
Personality: Shaun can be a bit paranoid of people around him due to a long life of seperation and fear. While his teammates tend to become angry quickly, Shaun keeps a more level head.
History: Shaun was born to an all-human family in Hoboken. He at first lived a good life; despite his strange eyes, nobody suspected anything strange about him. His powers were first unleashed when he was 13; while taking a test, his powers unexpectadly flared, completely removing the senses of everyone in the room except him. His mutant status became known and he became a social outcast. His own parents became afraid of him and his father made several attempts to kill him.
A few weeks after Shaun moved to Brooklyn, M-Day occured; thousands of mutants across the planet became powerless simeltaneously. Shaun was one of the few who kept his powers and was kept in a sanctuary at the Xavier Institute. After that safety ended, he and several other mutants realized that the X-Men wouldn't be enough to protect mutants everywhere; they moved to Brooklyn and formed the ragtag 'X-Strike'. They have run into trouble due to not being registered heroes, but they are now registered and can do their jobs without harrassmant.
