Abilities/Powers: Strong reliance for magic, so his shaman friends often use him in their shape-shifting spells
Skills: Banjo-playing (as well as the Bass!), cooking, taking care of kids, adventuring
Personality: Banjo is most peace-loving, unlike his partner, and is mostly a pacifist... unless attacked first, of course. Bear's gotta defend himself. He's approachable, fun-loving, and has a strong sense of justice and determination when he needs it, and keeps his friends close. And he has a strong appreciation for music.
History: Banjo grew up comfortably in Spiral Mountain, with his parents and little sister Tooty. He picked up on things like music quickly, and even kart racing, when he visited Timber Island to compete in the Diddy Kong Racing prix.
That all changed when his parents were killed by a rabid wolf while him and Tooty were away. With her only an infact, Banjo was left to raise her himself.
Later, however, he came across the same wolf, harassing a red-crested breegul. When it attacked her... Banjo leapt into action without thinking. It was the first time he had ever killed anything... and it was hard for him to soak in. He kept one of its teeth, not as a trophy, but as a reminder to not kill unless he absolutely needs to.
He took the bird in, who was named Kazooie, and nursed her back to health. Kazooie grew slightly attached to her new family, though she wouldn't admit it, and stayed for quite a while
Around that time was when Gruntilda the witch kidnapped Tooty, launching the duo into their first adventure. During that time, the pair grew that much closer, to the point where they were nearly inseperable and after defeating the witch, Kazooie remained in Spiral Mountain. Two years later would be their second adventure, defeating the witch a second time. Here the two grew more independant in their adventuring, but they're still known as a solid pair.
Recently, Kazooie had disappeared, wanting to search for more adventure. Banjo went out looking for her, happening upon a certain portal...
