Personality: As a youth, Dexter was the class know-it-all, and prides himself on seldom being proved wrong. Granted, he's grown up a little since then, but still takes pride in his extreme intelligence. He takes his work extremely serious, and easily loses his temper over distractions (especially from his sister Dee Dee).
History: Dexter was born a boy genius from the get-go (a Capricorn, go figure). Even the doctors acknowledged the enlarged cranium, gifting him with his beloved glasses, the symbol of his genius. Since then, he grew up tinkering with objects and creating minor inventions, which his older sister Dee Dee always seemed to break. At one point, he got fed up with his failed inventions and built a secret laboratory behind his bedroom bookcase... which Dee Dee found right away, of course. There have been constant triumph and turmoil for him since.
Granted the availability of Dimensional Island, Dexter was bound to find it. Learning of the Dark Insects, plus all the other stories ranging from super-powered children to approaching apocalypses, he has traveled here to investigate.
Other: Despite being American, Dexter speaks with an Eastern European accent.
