Physical Description: Double D looks the same as when he was alive, really. After throwing away his last outfit, he wears an orange, yellow-sleeved shirt, purple shorts, long socks, and blue sneakers, a reflection of his old outfit.
The big difference is obviously his wings. They take the shape of his translucent force feilds, shaped like feathers. He has the ability to put them away, looking human otherwise.
Weapons: Mostly a hand-to-hand fighter, but can easily shape his force fields into weapon.
Abilities/Powers: He was able to keep the powers he had in life, which are Invisibility and Force fields. Extending these, he can create illusions, disrupt light, or even create temporary objects, like trampolines or spear heads, by structuring his force fields differently. His mental endurance has heavily increased since he was reborn.
Another gift given to him were light-affinitive powers. This allows him to give light charges to his attacks, quite effective against those assosiated with darkness. Another part of the light powers includes healing arts.
Skills: High IQ, Engineering, chemistry, blueprinting, steel pedal guitar player
Personality: What can we say? He wouldn't have earned those wings if he wasn't the purest human soul ever cultivated. He's not only intelligent, well-meaning, and diplomatic, but extremely righteous and protective of those he cares about. His mindset is very idealistic, almost to a fault, but it's those small hopes that continue to drive him on.
History: Eddward had gone through countless ordeals here on Dinmensional Island, alongside his dear friends, superpowered companions, and angellic friends/enemies. His heart was given to once Fallen angel Felix Falora in a bond stronger than either had ever felt, and from it came new life in their daughter Marion (as angels, male or female, are capable of pregnancies).
The band of friends had gone through jewel-piece ventures, brutal fights, and more assassination attempts than they could count. More than once they considered leaving the island for a less complicated life back home... but their bond, ever strong, kept them here.
Then there was a great battle in the apartment complex, one in which Eddward took his first life, traumatizing him for life. In rage, his Guardian Angel Shinichi Fell and abandoned them. Even so, they endured the best they could.
Then Eddward stumbled across him sometime later. Much to his regret, he learned of the forbidden love the Fallen had for him. Shinchi used his sacred soul name against him, trying to lure him into his wanting arms. If not for his friends rescuing him, Eddward would've suffered even worse pain and humiliation than what was already pulling at his heart. The revealing of one's soul name, after all, is like giving away the core of your being.
Lost and trapped within himself, Eddward cried to heavens "why!? I try so hard to be a good person... why is this all happening to us...!?"
When he got no response, like he was learning to expect, he felt disheartened... but only for a minute more. He came to his own conclusion, that one does not need aid if one has the power to help themselves. And so he resolved to face Shinchi himself and demand his release.
But he got more than he bargained for when they all journeyed to Portal Park. Shinichi had summoned Lucifer to the surface; the very King of Hell himself. His evil had begun to spread unto the world.
Even so, Eddward was not afraid. He had suffered more terrifying things.... gone through more pain. And this monster was to blame.
He and his companions faced the Prince of Darkness head on without fear. He was weakened by the pureness and courage of their leader, and so he swiftly struck down the young lad.
Dying was the easy part. He had suffered greater pain from lesser wounds.
But then something happened that no one expected.
As he was enveloped in light, his wounds healing, a voice spoke from on high...
One's spirit cultivated from all the forces of good,
One whose mortal heart, immortal soul so pure...
One so brave, so noble,
Who made the ultimate sacrifice...
Rarely are such requirements met
