Felix ran down the park street, tears in his eyes. What did he do? Did he just leave? Did he just leave the ones he loved, the only ones that ever showed him compassion for a long time since... since Masahiro? Since before Masahiro raped him and left him to freeze on that mountain a long time ago? How much time had passed since then? Felix did not know and he did not care to find out. He wanted Double D to safe. For him, that was all that mattered.

Oh, no. Double D was NOT going to let him get away. Not after everything they've been through together, after everything they've fought for.
An unknown force drove him towards the park, and sure enough, there he found Felix, running.
"Felix! Wait!"

Felix didn't stop running. More tears falling, he made to spread his wings and fly away. Unfortunately for him, as he rose, a branch met his face and sent him back down to Earth, where he hit the ground hard.

"Alone? No one wants that," Double D helped him up. "Felix, we can help you control your powers! We can work together to fix this! Your powers may be dangerous, but what about those times you've healed? That saved my skin more than once! See, if you were to just control them..."

"How can one control his powers when emotion gets in the way?!" Felix asked and the wind picked up. Since he was not angry at Double D, just upset in general, it didn't affect him. However, as the wind increased in speed, and hair began flying, no objects were picked up, nor were people. "It's so easy to heal those you care about! I heal you so easily because I love you! I heal the others easily because I care about them! But if I were to try to heal someone that I hated, then I would... I would fail! They would die!"

"Because I love you!!" Double D buried his face into Felix's shoulder, sobbing. "P-please don't go... Everyone leaves me all alone... my parents... my peers... even my friends... sometimes... I... I can't... take it anymore.. I'm tired... of people leaving me alone!!"
(time to open up the abandoment issues. Poor Double D. And by the friends but, I mean, like, the one of two times his friends abandon him in the show. His parents, however, are never there, and the other kids shun him as an outcast like the other two Eds)

Now Felix felt like complete trash. He felt like utter scum on the face of the world. Double D knew his pain... And he was about to inflict it upon him again. "I... I... I didn't know..." Felix wanted to cry even more. "I didn't know... Even when... Even when I don't mean to harm... I still do... I'm trash... I'm scum..." Tears did, indeed, start falling.
