Terra's ears perked at a sound off in the foyer. "I heard she lives here... We're getting paid big bucks to get her." Only Terra could hear this because of his toned hearing. "If you, gent and little lady, excuse me, I must be somewhere," Terra said before walking off.

Hisaye watched Terra go, then looked back at Cho. Her eyes sparkled, and then her ears twitched. She heard her mother approaching.
"Momma is comin..."

Terra appeared where three men are. "Sickening creatures," Terra growled as he drew his sword. "What do you want with that sweet, innocent child?" "We're gettin' paid ta bring 'er back to 'er father. 'E says 'e misses beatin' on 'er," the man said before chuckling. "I'm afraid I'd rather kill you then let that happen!" Terra said in a demonic voice before another voice spoke in his favor. "So would I." A blue haired man jumped down, weilding his gigantic sword with only one hand. "Ike... You here too?" Terra asked. "I came to visit the grave of my father... I overheard these men talking and was about to ambush them when you showed up," Ike replied. "Sorry." "Don't trouble yourself. We can take these common criminals easily."

Double D had decided to leave the two girls alone, walking away. Their exchange gave him the emotional boost he needed, so he was ready to leave the cemetary.
What he heard, however, astounded him... to understate.
"You... you monsters!" He stepped up to Terra's side. "Count me in too! I will not... CAN not let these men get ahold of that child!"

"Hello Double D... Well, this seems fair. Three on three, eh?" Terra said. Then more men came out. "A whole organization of you bastards? How shameful," Ike said. "'Ey, we 'ave families to feed and this be a well payin' job," the man replied. "Shame you'll lose your lives over it. I'm sure your families would not blame us if they knew," Terra growled. "Enough of ze talk! FIRE!" Guns were drawn and bullets were fired. Terra began spinning his sword, knocking the bullets away from the three and letting them ricochet back at the men, causing them to jump around.

It was no trouble for Double D to sheild against the bullets to protect himself. Each impact hit with enough force to make him wince slightly, but at least his endurance had improved. The first time he was shot with bullets the force nearly knocked him out cold.

Terra grimaced as he found they were only on the defense. He then charged out and, with a seemingly demonic aura, he cut down one of the men, splitting them into two. The others began firing at him and him only, but he seemed to run through the bullets at speeds so high they could not catch him, chopping down men as he ascended.

One was still left, ready to shoot Terra down. But a glowing blue fist smashed into the side of his face, effectively knocking him out.
"Is that all of them?"

"Nope," Ike said as he used an Aether attack and ended up on a heading above where more men where. "Is this whole organization made up of freaks?" Terra asked. "Maybe," Ike said.

"Urgh!" Double D could barely keep up with all the aggressors surrounding him, going on the defense again. Just then, he felt the blunt end of a gun smack him upside the head, and he blacked out for a few seconds.

Terra appeared by the men that hit Double D. They fell into ribbons as he stood near the fallen Ed-Boy. "Ike, come protect the boy. I'll make sure they don't cut off Cho and the other girl," Terra said. "... Got it," Ike said, smiling.

"Unh... I think so..." Double D shakily got to his feet, rubbing his cranium. "Looks like I fell for a cheap shot... oww... what is UP with these people?"
