"They're fine," a voice said. Suddenly another thug was downed by a kick. "L Lawliet... That girl did look a lot like you," Terra said. "Welcome to the slaughter," Ike said to L. "The girls are with Good-chan. They'll be safer with her then me," L said.

"Friend," Ike and Terra replied at the same time as they backhanded two other men. "Best detective in the world," Ike said as he swept kick another to the ground. "Working on a case that involves catching a serial murderer," Terra said. "Read it in the manga store," they said in unison. L, meanwhile, kicked another man down. "I'm done with that. Light is Kira," he replied. "Wow, according to the manga, he was supposed to kill you," Terra said. "Now I'm working on a case to catch a man named Akumu," L said.
