The battleworn warriors stepped in. Felix remained near Edd. Masahiro somehow ended up near Perceval as if fate were trying to say something. Nazz was near Eddy, fate speaking once again. Schrodinger was sitting by himself, however.

As everyone settled, Matilde greeted each of them with only a nod. It seemed even she was effected by the loss of a comrade. Percevel did the same, but only becasue of the language barrier. Ever positive, he knew his fallen comrade was in a better place. He smiled lightly at Masahiro, comforted by his presence.
Once everyone was settled, Michiko approached one of the bedroom doors, knocking on it softly. "...Fletcher-san? The others are here."
Some time passed before the door finally opened, and a few of the others were taken by surprise. Fletcher had never looked so dishelved, so emotionally exhausted... he looked worse than Double D had before.
"...Fletcher..."

"F-Fletcher-san," Masahiro gasped.
"... ... ... You've been that..." Felix stuttered.
"Geez," Schrodinger grimaced. "Zat bad, huh?"
Nazz remained speechless.

"Geez louise..."
"Aww..."
Fletcher sighed deeply, running his fingers through his hair and trying to get ahold of himself. He hated his comrades seeing him like this.
"...right, then," he spoke up, his voice stale. "Something you needed to discuss...?"
"...Fletcher..." Double D stepped forward, taking his hand. "...I have... some similarity with how you feel. You've lost a comrade... I've taken someone's life."
Fletcher met his gaze levelly. He had almost forgotten about that. "...that's right... you're the one who took down the leader."
"And... I've regretted it ever since."
"It's life-changing... I know."

"We could talk about it all day long, but I think we should cut to the chase. The faster we heal both of you, the better," Masahiro said.
"We have an idea. If Michiko's powers can allow contact between the dead, then Double D can appologize to Dederick for killing him and Fletcher can appologize to Trevor for letting him die. Even though, in Fletcher's case, it's neither's fault, and in Double D's case, it's the moron's fault for attacking us in the first place, doing this will allow the two of you to lift the heavy burden of depression off of your shoulders."
"I could do it, but an angel's shield does start to wear down in time. If it did that in Hell, Edward-chan would fry, but if I did it with Fletcher... well he could fly in Heaven, so that might keep him from dying, but... then again, he'd also suffocate because there's no oxygen up there... seeing as, in Heaven, we're spirits and we don't need to breath," Felix said.
"Vhat ve need ist a median," Schrodinger realized. "Somevone who can call both spirits to a place vhere zey can talk."

Double D nodded to Schro. "That's exactly what I was thinking."
"Sounds a lot less dangerous," Eddy agreed. "What's the catch?"
"We need to find someone who can call spirits from the afterlife," Fleetfoot replied. "..unless Michiko can do it."
She shrugged hesitently. "I have never done such a thing, but... I could try." He flashed a shy smile Fletcher's way. "...whatever helps you two recover. I'd do anything."

"That would be a big help, Michiko-chan," Masahiro said.

"...y'know, I could try and help you, too, Mi," Raz spoke up. "Give you some of my mental energy, at least."
Michiko nodded as she stood. "That would be helpful. Thank you, Razuptin." She looked around. "...we'll have to clear the center of the room. Then we'll gather in a circle. From what I remember, we'll need everyone's willpower to summon the spirits we wish to call. The greater number of people, the stronger the call."
"...very well." Fletcher stood as well, instructing the others to move the furniture to the walls.

The others followed Fletcher's instructions and began moving furniture to make room for the seance that would soon follow.
"Hey, Masahiro," Felix said.
"Yeah?" Masahiro asked.
"... ... ... Why do you blame yourself for your brother's fall?"
"... ... ..."

"....you mean Shinichi?" Ed spoke up quietly.
"That's crazy!" Eddy replied. "How the heck could it be your fault!?"

"... 'Cause I... I was too scared to stop him," Masahiro muttered, his eyes travelling downward.

"...Masahiro, you deserve no blame for anything," Fletcher spoke up dryly, surprising a few. "Shinichi was not your charge, and his choices were not your fault. There are others of us that shoulder more blame than you."

"... I might've been able to prevent this, still... Being his brother," Masahiro said.

"Enough, please," Michiko calmed them down. "We need to cycle out the negative energy. Everyone, please, sit in a circle..."

Masahiro's eyes fell, but he somehow ended up next to Perceval, which made him feel better, as they sat in a circle.
