"Damnit boy, pull yourself together!" the elf said.
"Shine... don't," the blue-haired boy, Minato, said before walking over to Masahiro and placing a soft hand on his shoulder. "What you are known as is not what you were in the past... but what you are now in the present...You fought for our cause... Even if you were our enemy before, you are now our ally... Do you understand?"

"Guess nothin' can be certain anymore..." Matilde muttered.
Double D's cries were reduced to the most pathetic of whimpers, curling inward tightly as Ed lifted him into his arms, concern written all over his face.
"...guys... what about Double D? And Felix? What do we do now?"

"Put them to bed. Let them rest for a while with each other," Masahiro said as he made for the door.
"Where are you going?" Trevor said, grabbing a hold of Masahiro's shoulder.
"... Out," Masahiro said, then made to take another step when Trevor turned him around.
"Now you listen to me! I may be one of the nastiest, most sarcastic, narcissistic people on the Skylark Team... and Fletcher probably sometimes wishes he never met me." He winks at Fletcher before turning back to Masahiro. "But even though I do these things, I know what's right and wrong and I know you're going out... for vengeance! You can't do that, not after your brother has already done it! And if you can't do it for me... for your friends... then think about Perceval, damnit! He would be heartbroken if you left and fell because of your own hatred and misery!"

"O..okay..." Ed turned away to carry his friend to bed... though considering his broken condition right now, he doubted it would help.
"I...I'm sorry... I... so...sorry..."
"Shh..."
Fletcher rolled his eyes at the wink, but it changed into a stern nod once Trevor was finished. "I agree. It's pointless to lose yourself in a fruitful search when you could instead be staying here and protecting them to the best of your ability."
Others agreed around him, but the coup de grade came as little Percy took Masahiro's hand in his. Though English was not his tongue, he knew what was being discussed.
"...non, Masahiro," he firmly commanded. "Séjour."

"... I know... But who else can fight him?" Masahiro asked. "... He is my brother... He is strong, I know, stronger then a lot of people know... We've seen this strength plenty of times before... and in its Fallen fashion, it is only greater as it is based more towards destruction, not towards protection."
"Sounds fun... Maybe I'll try to take him down," Trevor said. "It's not like I'm an angel who'll fall from grace."
"Don't speak like that!" Masahiro said. "He would rip you apart."
"He would not go alone," the elf said. "I, Shine of Elfland, would stand right beside him!"
"So would I. Back in my world, I became a statue just to seal away the manifestation of humanity's hatred and negativity..." Minato said.
"He became Jesus!" Trevor cut in.
"Ehhh... right. In any case, this is even greater... I have to stop it," Minato finished.

"There's no WAY you guys'll be doing it without us!" Eddy cut in. "That Shinichi's gonna pay!"
Skywise nodded soberly. "Winnowill may have used Dewshine's soul name... but she never revealed it to the world. I can't forgive that so-called angel for that. Now those two will suffer even deeper wounds."

"Yeah... seriously," Raz muttered, covering Marion's ears.
He looked down at her when she reached out for Felix and Double D as they were being carried into their bedroom, whimpering.
"Mommy... Daddy...!"

"...right..." Following them inside, as the couple were settled in bed, Raz leaned in and placed Marion between them. Double D quickly reached out for her, and the two held each other tightly. He tried so hard to stop the tears from flowing from his hollow eyes, burying his face in her little shoulder.

Felix looked at them softly and, before they knew it, Masahiro had Marion as Felix had went to do the same thing. The result might've crushed poor Marion. But, as it turned out, this was the best course of action as the two were now able to be closer to each other without their daughter intervening and Masahiro sweatdropped as his logic of Marion helping proved to be an epic failure.

Marion whined slightly, but somehow understood and didn't protest any further as her parents held each other close... needingly... wantingly... She couldn't understand why they were so sad.
"F...Felix..." Double D barely got out.

"Of course they have," Skywise grunted once the bedroom door was shut. "How would you feel if your very core, everything deep down that makes you who you are, was revealed to the world? The healing's going to take a lot of time, or a miracle."
"And either probably won't happen before Shinichi returns for Eddward," Fletcher replied. "...though I'm not sure why why he wants the boy so badly."
"...(sniff) Stupid Shinichi..." Ed moaned. "They wouldn't be in pain at all if it wasn't for him... A-and he was supposed to PROTECT Double D! But now he's just hurting him! Th-that's not right at all!"

"That boy..." Trevor turned to notice Leon sitting in the open window. "An interesting method of extortion and manipulation... but a cowardly one."
"Wouldn't you enjoy it as a demon?!" Shine growled, pulling her hammer.
"I have some remnants of honor, little elf... And Felix is essential to my plans... I cannot let this abuse continue if everything is to go according to my will," Leon said.
"You are the reincarnation of all evil, he said... Why would you want to help him?" Trevor snarled.
"True, I am the incarnation of all evil... but such a thing needs to exist for the balance of the world and the universe to exist... In truth, I am required... Why do you think I freed that little girl Cho and other innocent souls to go onto Paradise? It is not mere evil anymore, but psychotic beliefs and empathies... Lucifer thinks he can destroy God and rule Heaven... But if he destroys God, he will disstabalize the very boundaries of the universe. God is everything... and if Lucifer were able to kill him... then there would be nothing."
"... But then wouldn't this plan involve... actually compassion and heroric deeds?"
"Tell me I'm thinking of my own survival if it makes you feel better, but... Lucifer cannot be allowed to remain in power anymore. The balance must be upheld and a proper king must retake the throne of Hell. But Lucifer is unable to be beaten by just anybody. Only a special type of energy can defeat Lucifer. Holy attacks may harm him, but they can never kill him... But the legendary twilight energy can."
"Twilight?" Trevor asked.
"A combination of holy and unholy energies. As pure opposites, Felix and I are the only two who, when united against a common energy, can combine our powers to use twilight energy. It is said to be the ultimate energy and that all energy derived from twilight... Probably why that Meyers woman chose twilight to be the name of her book. But that stands even more irrelevent then what I am getting at. What I am saying simply is... Shinichi must be stopped. His lustful desires for Edward will not only hurt your precious friends and their daughter, but the last remnant of hope this universe has while Lucifer prepares his army to siege heaven."
