The ruins of the old hospital were just enough so that somebody could hide out there. It went double if that somebody knew a little magic and had hidden themselves among the rubble. The group of lifeless thugs were barely visible to anybody who was passing by, and their master nonchalantly leaned against a broken pillar.
He was known by many names-- the Lord of the Dance... well, actually, that was the only name he could think of at the moment. But he preferred to be called 'Sweet'. Right now, of course, he was waiting on his thugs to make a special delivery.

Dodo was one of those outcast thugs, settled atop a building, his massive figure framed by the moon.
With a colored beak and fat, fluffy ploom, you wouldn't think anyone would take him seriously. But once he had proven that he could throw practically anyone over his shoulder, respect came easily. He was the strong, silent type, and no one bothered to provoke him... or ask where he came from, for that matter.
Truth be told, after the death of his previous mistress, he wasn't quite sure what to do with himself. He had hoped that he wouldn't become someone's subordinate again to feel like he had some purpose, but... maybe it would have to come to that.
Hopefully, though, this one won't hit him as much. That would be nice.

"Hey... didn't I send you out to find whoever summoned me?" Sweet asked pleasantly. "No offense, but I can't tell my minions apart. Ah, Jack'll be here soon enough." "Sir, I'm Jack." "Oh. My bad. Heh. You jerks all look alike to me. Hey, has anybody started exploding yet? You'd think there'd be a lot more singing going on..."
The singing was Sweet's most powerful power. In his old kingdom in the Netherworld, there was singing all of the time. It was one of the happier demon realms, not counting the Planes of Neverending Painful Joy. Whenever he was summoned, however, he tended to drag along that musical atmosphere and infect the world he had been brought into.
Of course, people aren't used to such a spontaneous release of energy-- after singing their hearts out, they inevitably exploded. It was sad, really. Hilarious, but sad.
"Damn it, where are they? They were supposed to be here with the girl half an hour ago!"

Dodo stared at this Sweet person with dull, beady little eyes from above. Even for a great weird bird such as him, this guy was really, really strange.
And a leader. That seemed to catch his attention the most.
Would he be nicer than Valentina? Perhaps. But then again, he WAS talking about exploding people. But maybe his minions would be protected from the explosion bit as a sort of benefit.

Tapping his foot rythmically, Sweet finally saw two thugs, moving almost lifelessly, approaching the hospital. They were dragging along a girl, kicking and screaming. Sweet smiled. "Finally! Maybe now we can get this part started!" He waved Dodo towards the two wooden thugs coming towards the ruins.
"Hey, pal. Go check up on 'em."

"...?" Dodo sat up, surprised that Sweet had addressed him. Especially by the term 'pal.' That was certanly new.
Motivated to please him, Dodo hopped down from his perch, landing with quite a massive tremor, expected from one his size. He waddled over to the thugs, staring them down before waving his wings Sweet's way, indicating where to take their prisoner.

(OOC: Do you know any female characters that could be used for the prisoner?)

(ohhhhhhhh... you bet I do.)
As the prisoner was dragged along, Dodo didn't give her a second glance. Mainly becasue her face was covered by a burlap bag, her clothes tattered and torn beyond recognition. As a lackey, he was meant to be indifferent to all victims.
Still... he couldn't help but notice the few, mussy, green feathers she left behind in her struggle. And very few humanoid females had any feathers to speak of.

"Hee-ha! You get the lady comfortable!" Sweet gave a smile that was oddly similar to a soft-shoe performance. "I've gotta get some cologne, or... somethin'."
Running off behind the rubble, Sweet laughed joyfully.

"MMMPHH!" the woman protested, though incoherently, struggling wildly. Dodo stood back, behind the group, hoping it wasn't who he thought it was, hoping and praying deeply.

Not at bothered as Dodo, the henchman carefully removed the burlap bag from their captive's face. Sweet had instructed that his captive be free to move about a bit. It would have made one wonder what the point was in tying her up in the first place.
That is, if Sweet's minions could think.

Dodo flinched. Ang gulped. And become terrified beyond all rationale thought.
She was dead. He watched her die. He LEFT her to die. So what was she doing HERE?
"GAH!!" Valentina gasped, glaring at everything and anyone around here. "I DEMIND an explanation for this! RIGHT NOW!!"

The henchmen were quiet. It was hard to tell why. Maybe they were just too loyal to Sweet to answer. Maybe they were just the dancers in Sweet's play. Either way, Valentina wasn't going to get an answer out of them. Almost uninterestedly, the henchman began to walk away from their captive.

"WHAT in blazes is going on!? Don't you walk away from me!! You blasted, stinking...!!"
Once they had cleared away, Dodo had unfortunately been revealed. The two made eye contact briefly, until Dodo looked away when he was convinced her rage-filled gaze would burn his eyeballs.
"You...[/b]"
