The sound of tears were the only thing to be heard in the quiet and almost undisturbed Garden.
Sitting on the edge of a fountain near the center of the beautiful garden, the ex-member of the Teen Team, Misty let out those wretched tears. As she sat at the fountain's edge, she cried as much as she wanted. If anyone had asked if she had been crying, she would've proudly answered with a loud and angry 'NO'. To her, it was dangerous to show emotion, she wasn't going to be judged as a weak individual. Tears meant weakness, tears were dangerous. And in this complete isolation, she could shed as many as she wanted.
But why did she cry?
"Stupid... Insects... Stupid... Toon Town!!!" She yelled angrily, as she slammed her fist onto the edge...
CRACK!
So hard, that the fountain somewhat cracked under the pressure. By some sheer miracle, it didn't break, and Misty hadn't hurt herself by it. She shook her head rapidly, 'No', she wouldn't show any sign of her being here. She had just come here to let out her stupid emotions and then leave before she was seen.
"Darnit all..." She grumbled as she brought her knees to her forehead, crossing her arms on top of the knees, and continued to let out those wretched tears...
Why did she have to be so weak?
Why did she have to let the loss of others bring her down?
'Pull yourself together, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, Misty!!!' Her mind seemed to grumble at her. 'They were just friends. You make em' and you lose em, that's how life works! ... Nothing wrong with that!'
Then why did she still feel so horrible?

A single, beautiful twing, echoing throughout the garden, disrupted her thoughts. What followed was a string of notes flowing together in a beautiuous melody, and was soon join in by humming and whistling. Glancing up, she found the source; a small dog was sitting beside another fountain, stumming his guitar and lost in his uplifting tune. (Think KK Aria or KK Bossa www.playlist.com/searchbeta/tracks#k%20k%20animal%20crossing ) |

[Thanks NN1. Seriously thanks! XD Now I can finally get this underway. By the by, the KK Aria sounds like it's a good one to start with.]
Misty looked at the dog curiously. "Who-" She got to her feet quickly, wiping away any tears that were still on her person and got into a battle stance. "Who are you?" She wasn't about to attack, since she didn't feel any bad vibes from the dog, the motion was merely for self-defense at a moments notice...
Regardless, the song seemed to appeal to her, almost calming her down at the strange appearance... ALMOST.

(No prob. ^^ I haven't been using KK much either, so yay.
Alright, that's cool. I just love KK Bossa a lot. XD I saw this neighbor's house in my Animal Crossing town, had a beautiful summer home look to it and had KK Bossa playing. Wish I remember whose house that was...)
"Hmm?" The dog stopped humming, glancing her way, through his paws kept strumming, kept the song goin. "...Yo. Sorry, didn't know anybody else was here. Not a lotta people pass by, so it's a good place for me to practice, nice and quiet."

Misty looked around, groaning "Tell me about it..." Now calmed down, she sat herself back down. "And here I thought I could be alone..." sighing she lowered her head. "Dammit all..."

The dog stopped playing and looked at her questioningly. "Hmm? Am I getting in your space? Sorry, I can take my tunes elsewhere if I need to."

Misty raised her head quickly. "Oh no!" She shook her head. "Don't worry about it, you don't have to go anywhere!" She sighed a little. "I guess I was about to head out anyways..."
However, something caught Misty's attention just a quick second. "Wait... Uh, sir, about that song you were playing... Did you write that yourself? I notice you don't really have any pieces of music along with you."

"Cool." The dog nodded at her approval, glancing up at her question. "Uh? Oh, yeah. It's one of mine, yup. K.K. Aria, I call it. Name's K.K. Slider, by the way."

Misty didn't know why, but he felt it easy to relax around this dog. "Ah, well, it's nice to meet you, the name's Misty." She lowered her head, "I came from a place called Toon Town. It suffered an attack from these Dark Insects. Know about em'?"

"Mm. Vaguely." He shrugged, but seeing her remourseful look, he quickly changed his attitude. It wasn't much of a change, as he didn't have a large range of emotion, but he still expressed his sympathy with a doleful frown. "...what a drag. Sorry to hear about that."

Misty took a seat right in the shade of a nearby tree. Sighing a little, she looked to K.K. "Whatever you've got is good."

"You're down for anything, huh? Cool." He took a moment to tune his guitar. "How does that last one I was playing sound? K.K. Aria."
He started the song over softly. As the notes carried on, he had shut his eyes serenely; he knew this song like the back of his paw, so there was no need to look at his guitar.

Misty actually felt relaxed by the song, which may have been a first in many ways, since she had been such a tense mess when she arrived on Dimensional Island. She looked around as K.K played. "So..." She looked to the dog, looking somewhat curious. "What's your story..? Your name is K.K. you said?"
