THE TRAINER
Full Name: Prue Eveque
Nicknames: N/A
Age: 23
Height: 5'4"
Weight: Mostly average. She's nowhere near fat but certainly not skinny either.
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Good
Home: Constantly travelling, so she has no real home. Her hometown is Cerulean City in Kanto.
Franchise: Pokemon (original game based trainer)
Physical Description
There isn't anything too extrodinary about Prue. She has brown hair that falls into some kind of half-way point between short and medium, hazel eyes that will sometimes change color depending on mood, and bangs that cup her face that she has died hot pink. She favors short-sleeved vests, pants, and shoes that are good to walk in. Her favorite outfit and the one you can see her in most often is a white sleeveless shirt, a pink vest with t-shirt like sleeves and blue pants. Her shoes are vivid pink with blue soles. The shoes are slip-ons. Also, she has a pale pink closable tote bag that she keeps her supplies in.
Weapons
None, and she's pretty useless in a normal fight. The extent of her skills pretty much consists of chucking rocks at people. She does have a variety of Pokemon Trainer paraphenelia, but without a place to restock would run out eventually. She has various other supplies such as a fold up bicycle, a box of accessories, a box of ribbons, etc. Nothing you wouldn't find in most trainer's bags.
It should be noted its all very unorganized though. She keeps the most important healing supplies on a pouch to the side for easy access. Everything else pretty much relies on her dumping her bag to find it.
Abilities/Powers
Nothing worth any real note. She can ride a bike and has fairly decent stamina.
Skills
Well, she's got more than a few badges from each of the world's main regions under her belt and can wipe the floor in Cute Contests. So she's a good trainer and a great coordinator. Although her skills in Tough Contests are non-existant.
She also has this odd ability to squee to extrodinarily high pitched levels. When she gets really excited she literally screeches with joy. The pitch is just within normal human hearing but its high enough that those with sensitive ears and most animals are in pain by it.
Personality
In a single word: Genki (its japanese)
She rivals a five year old high on sugar for her energy levels. She wears her emotions on her proverbial cuff and is often more emotional than would be considered normal. She's a trainer for the fun, friendships, and travel. As for battling, its not really a priority but she does it cause she likes feeling accomplished. Contests are just plain fun for her, but again, it takes a backseat to the adventure itself.
She's a pretty nice person and hates if she thinks she has hurt a person's feelings. She hates when people use Pokemon instead of treating them like team mates. She hates poor sports whether they are a poor loser or winner and aspouses that being with Pokemon is the point, not the fighting. She is quite the spazz but when the crap hits the fan she is excellent at gritting her teeth and doing what needs to be done. Once the danger has passed, the stress of it all will explode and she'll often end up as a living puddle of tears. She is trusting and works at seeing the best in people and is somewhat gullible because of it.
If one were to use three words to describe her, they would probably be: cheerful, hyperactive, and scatterbrained.
History
Nothing all that fancy. She was born in Cerulean City when the only league in the world was the Indigo League. At twelve she left home with a Squirtle acquired at the nearby cape in an interesting encounter. She has travelled to all the major regions at least once and taken short trips to places like Almia, Orre, and Fiore.
She has competed in the leagues of all the regions and her name is inscribed in the Hall of Fame at Kanto and Sinnoh. She has various badges from Johto and Hoenn as well. She has various ribbons from both Hoenn and Sinnoh, including more than a few Cute Contest Master Rank ribbons from both regions.
She was investigating rumors of strange activity on Spear Pillar in Sinnoh when to her total surprise a Pokemon she had only heard of appeared in front of her. It seemed to be rather aggravated and caused a pit to open up beneath Prue. It was Palkia, and the legend had inadvertently sent Prue to Dimension Island.
Other
Prue is PETRIFIED of bees and nervous of anything that resembles them. In terms of Pokemon this means she is absolutely phobic of Beedrill (pictures of them make her nervous), very frightened of Vespiqueen, scared of Weedle and Combee, and strongly dislikes Kakuna.
It should be stressed she is from a generic game canon world. So she wouldn't know who Ash/Satoshi was even if she met them. And the main characters of the games are just generic trainers in their own way.
THE POKEMON (FOR STATISTICAL INFO, SEE AN ONLINE POKEDEX)
- Sora the Pachirisu -
Height: 1'3"
Weight: 8 lbs.
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Spark, Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Sweet Kiss
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Thunderbolt, Return, Double Team, Fling, Flash, Cut, Thunder Punch
Skills
Sora can find the darndest things on the ground. From shiny bottles to precious gems, if it catches her eyes you can bet she'll pick it up. This is the way her "Pick Up" ability expresses herself.
Personality
Cute. She walks, speaks, even falls down cute. A handful because she doesn't seem to catch how dangerous the world can really be. She would jump in a lake even though she can't swim, not aware that she could drown. It isn't out of stupidity, but out of a total naivete of how the world works. Oddly, this behavior makes her more resourceful than she might otherwise be. She can come up with the craziest solutions to a problem but also the craziest ways to get into a bind. She is super social and the friendliest of Prue's entire team. Comparable to Misty/Kasumi's Togepi from the anime in her ability to inadvertently find trouble.
Other
Sora almost never uses the "-risu" part of her name, but it makes her no less understandable. This oddity grew out of the fact that Prue almost never calls the species Pachirisu, instead preferring "Pachi" or "Pachis".
- Marina the Marill -
Height: 1'4"
Weight: 19.2 lbs
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Ice Beam, Rain Dance, Water Pulse, Mud Slap
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Ice Beam, Water Pulse, Surf, Protect, Swagger, Mud Slap
Skills
She has an inherent ability that means she strikes harder with any physical attacks than it should appear like she should. This is the way her "Huge Power" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Marina likes being the center of attention. All. The. Time. She will gladly cause havoc if it means the attention will be focused on her. She wants to be credited (and then some) for everything she does and reacts poorly if this does not occur. She is a bit of a bully, but its so people will pay attention to her. Even though she often does, she isn't trying to hurt peoples' feelings. She has a stuck up air about her and only likes to do things that she wants to do. She will sometimes act against Prue's orders because of this and it rarely ends well. She has a sharp tongue and talks back to almost everything.
Other
Marina has an item called "Sea Incense" that makes her water moves more powerful than they otherwise would be. She wears it in a blue patterned pouch around her neck (exactly how it stays on is a bit of a mystery) and simply has to tug lightly on one of the draw straps to release its power. It smells a bit like se salt. Due to not being in its standard incense form, it does not work to attract male Marill to her.
- Zelda the Gardevoir -
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 106.5 lbs
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Psychic, Calm Mind, Imprison, Teleport
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Safeguard, Energy Ball, Psych Up
Skills
Zelda has a slightly magnified version of the empathy possessed by her species. She fights to control this, but every once in a while a strong emotion will cause her to act on it against her will. If she is fighting an extremely violent opponent, she might become extremely violent and stop listening to Prue.
Zelda can randomly take a single ability of the opponent and use it as her own. This can prove both very useful and very disasterous as the skill taken is random. This is the way her "Trace" ability expresses itself
Personality
Zelda has a regal and proper air about her and acts very much the lady. She doesn't like nonsense which means hanging around with Prue and the other members of her team is a bit annoying at times. She has a tendency to hold back in a fight unless Prue is in real danger or she is acting on the violent emotions of a nearby person. She is immensely loyal to Prue despite the woman having lost her on many occasions. Part of the reason Zelda trusts her so implicitely is the effort Prue puts into finding her. She adores Sora and will sometimes act the mother hen and try to protect the little Pachi.
Other
On a white leather cord around her neck hangs a pink triangle with the point facing upwards. This allows her psychic attack to be stronger than they would otherwise be. It is a carved version of an item known as a "Mind Plate".
Zelda has a love-hate relationship with Chao, the Mismagius on Prue's team. She claims she would like nothing more than to see the ghost put in a storage box, but in reality is quite bored and lonely when Chao isn't around.
- Chao the Mismagius -
Height: 3"
Weight: 9.8 lbs
Gender: Female
Favored Attacks
Astonish, Mean Look, Confuse Ray, Snatch
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Ominous Wind, Sucker Punch, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Dark Pulse, Thunder Wave, Snatch
Skills
Sneaking around. Chao is remarkably good at sneaking up on people, a skill she uses to her advantage in pulling pranks.
Chao floats around like any good ghost and any move that effects only the ground won't effect her. However, she is no more likely to get hit by lightning than anyone else, a factor that can not be claimed by many flying creatures. This is how her her "Levitate" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Chao is quite intentionally a walking disaster area and a ticking time bomb of chaos. She loves pulling pranks, her favorite being sneaking up behind Prue and scaring the daylights out of her. Prue isn't the most aware of her surroundings so this is easy and gives Chao no end of glee. She isn't truly mean, but she does have a misplaced sense of humor. She is nowhere near above ignoring Prue but has a good enough head on her shoulders to turn a situation around or just plain win the fight. She isn't one for a straight out fight, preferring instead to pull dirty tricks. She would never break the rules, but you'd be amazed at how well she can bend them.
Other
Chao has a green pouch tied around her waist. It is full of sparkling dust that can be thrown into the field to create all manner of confusion or allow for a quick get away. The pouch seems to have an infinite amount of powder, although it does take a few hours to magically refill if its totally emptied. This item is in actuality "Bright Powder" and Chao won't let anyone take it from her, including Prue.
Chao has this love-hate relationship with Zelda in the same way Zelda has one with her. She finds Zelda to be an overly-observant prude but would feel there was no challenge in pranking if the Gardevoir was not nearby.
- Skeletor the Cubone -
Height: 1'02"
Weight: 13.3 lbs
Gender: Male
Favored Attacks
Growl, Endure, Toxic, Protect
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Toxic, Protect, Endure, Sunny Day, Rock Smash, Knock Off, Endeavor
Skills
You could drop Skeletor from 100 feet up and he'd only be knocked a little loopy. This Pokemon is made of tough and won't back down easily. Very stubborn and seemingly incapable of hurting himself. He would be immune to kickback from attacks if he was willing to use attacks that had it. This is how his "Rock Head" ability manifests.
Personality
Skeletor is cautious and unbelievably insecure. He lives by the "insertthingher ehas never killed anyone, but why take any chances" motto. He is timid, shy, and can not be left alone. He will chase after Prue if she attempts to leave him by himself. Not that great of a battler unless he feels losing will prevent him from getting back to Prue, he favors defense and support. He is easy to surprise and is known for throwing temper tantrums when upset. How he survived in the wild long enough for Prue to catch him is a mystery.
Other
Skeletor despite contests due to Prue's failed attempts at entering him in Tough Contests. He has an almost child-parent attachment to Prue's Houndoom, Akuma, and it is only if Prue leaves Skeletor and Akuma together than she even has a chance of leaving him "alone".
Skeletor has a flame patterned scarf tied around his left upper arm. The scarf can absorb a surprise blow that would knock Skeletor out if he is in top shape. Its actually a "Focus Sash" and functions exactly like one.
- Akuma the Houndoom -
Height: 4'8" (at top of horns)
Weight: 80 lbs (all muscle)
Gender: Male
Favored Attacks
Crunch, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Facade
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Facade, Shadow Ball, Torment
Skills
Fire attacks are useless against Akuma. Of any type. In fact, they are the opposite of useful. Every lick of flame that hits Akuma makes his fire attacks that much stronger. This is how his "Flash Fire" ability expresses itself. Interestingly, it also has the added effect of increasing his rage and can eventually send him into a beserker rage. It is very hard to calm him down when he is like this. He actually has more control than he lets on when he is like this and would not kill unless it was the only option. As always, if the opponent shows total submission he will back off on the attack.
Personality
Akuma is pretty vicious and not well trained. He doesn't take orders well, particularly if they are along the lines of cease attacking. He won't kill unless he feels it truly necessary but will injure to make sure the opponent won't challenge him again. He's excellent in battle... just of his own will rather than Prue's. Because of his autonomy, he is excellent in double battles (although he will often not pay attention to his team mate). He works extremely well with Skeletor, who uses his moves to beef Akuma up. His total willingness to "lay the smack own" on others means Chao won't harass him. He is highly aggressive and hard to control - the main reason Prue keeps him on her team is for Skeletor.
Other
Akuma views himself as a protector to Skeletor and takes a very firm guardian position over the little Cubone. Skeletor has no problem with this and it is quite possible Akuma is the only one he trusts more than Prue. It is only around Skeletor Akuma shows his ability to be soft-hearted.
Akuma has a yellow rock around his left horn that vaguely resembles a crown. The power from this rock means he can occasionally disorientate an opponent so at the very least they have trouble attacking. Commonly it makes them jerk so hard that they can't attack. In actuality this is the item "King's Rock".
Other (All of Prue's Pokemon)
For some reason, the magic of the island does not allow Prue's Pokemon to speak normally. Instead they say their name like always. Animals, other Pokemon, and those that can speak with animals can understand the Pokemon.
Prue's Pokemon can use all of their attacks in any non-league sanctioned fight (which means all fights on the Island). However, they each have preferred moves, and Prue has to remember the attack to be able to order it. None of her Pokemon were hatched, so they know no egg moves.
