Physical Description: Compared to a lot of the vocaloids, Kaito looks pretty normal, besides his short blue hair and eyes. Like how many Vocaloids wear headphones with headsets built in, Kaito wears a headset, but not headphones. He tends to wear a long white coat. The coat is lined with blue stripes and has yellow stripes and arrows on parts. On the inside of this jacket are several pockets that can be used to store a variety of things; car keys, money, cameras, ice cream, knives, etc. Over the jacket, Kaito wears a very long blue scarf that’s become almost iconic of him. Underneath the jacket, he wears a teal shirt, brown pants, and black shoes.
Weapons: A butcher knife
Abilities/Powers: Amazing singing powers. :3
Skills: Unlike most of the Vocaloids, who have some kind of special skill like leek-spinning, kung-fu, dancing, road-roller driving, etc., Kaito doesn’t have much in the ways of fighting, miscellaneous abilities, etc. His one true ability is probably his acting ability, which says more about him than it should…
Personality: On the outside, Kaito is the ditzy, oafish, yet loveable, doormat of the vocaloids. You can run over him with a Road-Roller, and all he’d do is laugh. He’s unintentionally funny, always has a sunny disposition, and most of all, harmless. Of course, he’s really anything but. A pretty good description of the real Kaito would be obsessive and sometimes even controlling on the inside. He must be loved on and not abandoned for someone else, or he will start getting ideas about “getting rid of the hypotenuse” in his relationship. It’s very possible that he’s mentally unstable as well. Because of his above average acting skills, though, most people only know of the Outer Kaito, which is just the way he wants it.
History: Kaito and his sister Meiko were two of the first few Vocaloids, and were the only two Japanese speaking ones. Because of this, and Meiko’s not so close relationship with Kaito (mainly due to her deciding to steal his half of the paycheck to go buy sake), the two of them often stayed away from each other. This eventually led to Kaito becoming a solo artist of sorts. After Miku’s creation and the subsequent popularity boost of the vocaloids, he started becoming more recognized, but he was still pretty ignored compared to Miku and the twins.
Other: He likes ice cream, especially Haagen-Dazs.
