Physical Description:
Like Soren, Terra wears a lot of black. His hair is so long that, when Terra first joined the group, people mistook him for a girl. It hides his red eyes. He has a feminine build and sometimes he's crossdressed. However, his usual look involves a black vest, black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. When asked about all of the black, including his hair, he did not reply. He does wear, however, on the index finger of each hand, one ring. On his left, he wears an opal ring. On his right, he wears an emerald ring.
Weapons: Terra carries an unbreakable blade called Bringer foncé, or Dark Bringer.
Abilities/Powers: Amazing swordsmen skills and unnatural stamina. He can go into armies single-handed and come out tired... if he doesn't die, of course.
Skills: He has amazing swordplay and speed.
Personality: Terra is not very social. Even to his friends, he comes off as dark and weird. The only ones that understand why he is the way he is are Ike and the Mercenaries. In battle, he is emotionless and without regret. Though he may seem like an emo, and though he has markings cut into him, Terra has never cut his own body.
History: Terra was born in Daein some time before the war. His father, Patrick, was a Swordmaster, and his mother, Ilia, was a bishop. Both were skilled in what they did, but being the boy, Terra was trained in the art of swordplay. Patrick began training Terra was he was merely five and Terra showed an incredible compassion with the sword. However, he was never able to beat his father, so he dedicated his life to training hard til he beat his dad. Then, at age seven, the war began. The Crimean-Daein War tore his father away from their family.
Terra had recieved word of his father's death and hated Crimea for it... at least he did. But Daein felt that Terra's family had to suffer for his father not doing a well enough job. Terra experianced a quick change of heart when Daein soldiers came in and killed his mother, cutting off her arms and her head, he, himself, in hiding. When he came out, his mother's body still shot out geyzers of blood. Terra cried, not understanding. Without delay, he took his mother's opal ring and fled the house, then fled the city.
He was in another town, the age of nine, starving, having lived off of raw meat for two years, where he found his crush, Jessica. She took him in and he lived with her for two years. In these two years, they grew attached and then Jessica asked Terra if... if he'd like to marry her, since neither had any parents anyway. Terra was overjoyed, but Daein soldiers set the house on fire that night. Terra had tried to save Jessica, but found himself too late. He took her emerald ring and her sword and then kissed her dead body, a last kiss for her, before running away.
At age thirteen, he came to Begnion, seeking shelter. He was almost turned aside, but the Apostle showed him mercy and he was allowed into town. He had been living in a special shelter then for five months til Ike's group came and, suddenly, Terra was filled with inspiration. He figured he could fight with them and gain his vengeance. Unfortunately, he never got the chance to ask, so he set off from begnion to go back to Daein, ready to kill anyone that got in his way.
Through these hardships, he had been training. On the way back to Daein, he found his brother, Alex, with his troop. Terra singlehandedly killed them, even though Alex's troop was composed of four paladins, three wyvern riders, and five feral ones, and Alex himself was a Paladin. But the battle had Terra laying down so close to his own deathbed. If he had not been found by his friend Shizune, he would've died. Apparantly he had been out a long time. Shizune, now Terra and he were in Crimea, told Terra what happened, that Daein had been defeated and Crimea was liberated. Terra was happy for them.
Shizune then told him that he needed not worry about fighting, but Terra shook his head. He said that as long as there was evil in the world, his services were still needed. Shizune decided to accompany him. At his fifteenth birthday, Terra and Shizune went to join the Greil Merceneries. As weird as it may have seemed, the laguz boy and Terra had been in love with each other. However, as if the tragedy would never end, Shizune was killed.
It happened during the fight against Ashera. Shizune was turned to stone and the statue was broken. When all the petrified were turned back to normal, Shizune's blood spilled on the floor. Terra cried out for his friend and muttered to himself about how he wished to die. After the battle, Terra left the Merceneries, never to be seen again.
Somewhere along the lines, he must've found a portal to Void City, were he spent the two years of his life I didn't cover. He wears all black in mourning of Shizune.
