Makoto began to wonder where Pentral had gone. It wouldn't have surprised him if he had been abandoned. He looked down at the thing in his hand. He had said it was to communicate... but still...
Makoto held his hand out and the item floated into the air. Using his telekinesis he tried to operate it.
"Uh... Fox-san?" It just hit him he had never asked Pentral's name. So he used the only thing he could come up with.
Of course, the object was a good two feet away from Makoto. Being an ear piece he probably couldn't hear any response from "Fox-san". And the honorific would likely confuse one not familiar with Japanese.
(OOC: Daw, Pentral has a nickname. XD Fox-san roughly means "Mr. Fox" in this context. XD)

Around this time Pentral was almost back when he heard the communicator go off. "Call me Pentric, and yes?" Pentric said as he continued to make his way back.

Makoto frowned when no response came from the machine. He carefully drew it towards himself, but Pentral had already responded and as such, there was no response. Well, he could hear footsteps and the hum of the crowd, but not Pentral.
"Fox-san? Hello?"
Chances are Pentral would come aroudn the corner to see the device floating two feet in front of Makoto, whose back was turned to the alley's opening. Oh, and the hamburger wrapper next to him that was not there before, of course.

And so it happened. Pentral saw the device floating, slightly suprised at first but then just walked up to the device and grabbed it with his two finger. "Well, you can only hear me respond when it's in you ear." Pentral said as he handed Makoto the communicator again as he opened his bag and gestured Makoto a apple and asked him, "Hungry?" without even noticing the hamburger wrapping.

Being starved to death as he was, that was a silly question. His eyes filled with gratitude and he grabbed the apple, taking a bite out of it and managing to choke himself.
That's what you got for eating quickly. Burnt mouths and apple cores stuck in your throat. Makoto was still coughing.

Pentral pat on his back as he took out some water and handed it Makoto. "Heh, though you're hungry don't forget to chew it first." he said before chuckling slightly.

Makoto took the water and managed to get the apple down his throat. He looked at the ground at the wrapper, "That meat thing wasn't as hard to chew..." he mumbled. More to himself, but it was audible.
(OOC: Meat thing. Yeah. Well, his world is in a kind of post-apocalyptic state.... XD)

Pentral picked the wrapper up and sniffed it a bit before his eyes widen a bit. "Well this isn't good." he said before he put the wrapper in the trash. "I think we better get you to a bathroom or something." he told Makoto closed his backpack.

There were many things in Void City Plaza that were, as they say, accepted due to the fact that more and more people, some from weirder worlds then others, seemed to appear on random occasion.
With that in mind, it came as no surprise for many when a Rift opened in a nearby alleyway with a blinding flash.
"WAAAAH!!!!" THUD!!!! "O-owwww...." That was the last sounds made before the rift closed itself up, setting the alleyway back to it's original brightness...
Out of the alleyway walked a tiny figure that looked about as tall as a five year old, with yellowish orange hair that almost looked like fire. With greenish blue skin, small hands, and a headband with a saphire built in...
Burnin' Leo had just appeared, and it looked like the poor guy was lost. "Hello?? Kirby! You around here??" He yelled cupping his hands around an invisible mouth. "KIIIIIIIIIIRBY!!!!!!!!"
When no response from the pink puffball came, Burnin' Leo felt his almost non-existant shoulders sag slightly. However he clenched his fists, refusing to give up. "He has to be around this place somewhere... I mean, the portal he went through DID drop me off here..." With that being said, he continued to walk moving around people as best he could, keeping an eye open for his old pal.

Pentral heard what Makoto had mumbled and pulled out a plastic bag he got when he was shopping for fruits and vegetables. "If you feel like your going to puke, puke in this." Pentral said as he heard a weird noise coming from the alleyway. "Wait right here I will be back" he said as he went toward where the noise was.

Makoto snatched the bag of Pentral. He heard Pentral say he was going to check on something in some corner of his mind, but was too busy getting sick to resister much beyond that. He let himself do a cross between stumbling and collapsing so he was sitting. Even if the hamburger had been fresh, his stomach probably wouldn't have cooperated. His body had rejected it quick enough that he already felt better. He leaned forward to look where he had heard Pentral's footsteops going. (OOC: If I eat something that my stomach doesn't like and throw it up quickly, I tend to feel loads better right afterwards.  ) |

Burnin' Leo continued to weave around the crowd, keeping his eyes peeled for any signs of the pink puffball.
"KIRBY!!!" He yelled once more. "It's me! You're pal Leo remember? KIRBY!"
Unwittingly walking past the one known as Pentral, Burnin' Leo wandered into a nearby alley that lay next to a restaurant. He had a good feeling he'd find Kirby inside, but would he be let in the front door? He couldn't say for sure if he would or not. With that in mind, he wandered into the alley.
"Hmmm... There has to be a side door around here some-"
He stopped dead in his tracks when he realized Makoto was sitting on the ground, at the foot of the wall just right next to him.

Pentral came back to realize he went the wrong way and saw the small figure standing near Makoto. He didn't really know what to make of it and walked toward Makoto and Leo saying, "Hello there." in a casual tone.

Makoto just sat there. He wasn't familiar with the creature. It didn't look mechanical and likely wasn't with GA. He tried to think of something to say, or at least to get his body to move away from the creature, but he just sat there.
He jumped a bit when Pentral showed up again and said hello to the creature. Still no words, just a quizzical expression. He was, however, ready to run if the creature approached him.
