Leo nodded back and turned back to the TV, finding the remote... ...
Beep-beep-beep!
Both Leo and Makoto likely jumped five feet into the air, when they heard that. Turning back to Makoto, he saw the answer as to what it was immediately.
"Well whadaya know?" He pointed to the phone that Pentral had given to the boy earlier. "Pentral's calling! How about you answer that while I try to find something on the TV, sound good?"
[This part coincides with the thread 'What a View' in the Bonsai Mountains, after all, TSI introduces this call in that thread.]

(OOC: I planned on posting that in my next post. Thanks for the reminder, though.) Makoto didn't react as well. As in he had the device torn off his ear and thrown against the wall. Well, towards the wall. He recovered from the surprise quick enough to hold out his hand, and it was almost like some invisible force caught it inches from the wall. He wavered a bit, and the device dropped an inch or so, before he shook his head and "pulled" it close. "Fo-Pentral-san?" Makoto jerked at the next sound. It was kind of like a muted metallic clicking. He vaguely recognized the sound. The chances were, however, that Leo wouldn't. It wasn't like the denizens of Dreamland tended to use guns, after all. The sound of one reloading wouldn't be too familiar. "Pentral-san, are you okay...?" Why would the fox be loading a weapon? He couldn't hear gunfire in the background... but why would Pentral be resorting to that kind of violence? Makoto's face was strained with worry. And he wasn't really sure just what he was worried about. A lot of things, really.

Leo turned from the TV, which had what appeared to be a Bugs Bunny cartoon playing. He had apparently missed the concern in Makoto's voice. "Hey Makoto, How is he?"

(OOC: I'm paraphrasing Pentral's quote because I don't feel looking it up. Sorry TSIfan. >__>)
Makoto looked extremely concerned. He knew what "running into trouble" meant. It meant someone was about to die.
"....weapons aren't... being fine," Makoto paused, "W-w-where are you?"
The thought that had crossed his mind terrified him. Was he actually thinking of going out to try and help Pentral? It wasn't really in character... except it was. Despite all the trauma he'd been through, and perhaps even because of it, Makoto hated to see people in pain. He still wasn't sure about not being found by the Global Alliance, but this place didn't seem as dangerous as Enid. People tried to help him, and weren't immediately killed for it.
What if Pentral's trouble was because of him? Makoto's grip tightened a bit on the communicator. He couldn't let that happen. This came across as extreme worry and emotional pain in his face. He didn't appear to hear Leo.

Though Leo's attention had been caught on the TV, it was turned away (When he had just caught what appeared to be a Kirby TV show no less) when he heard Makoto mention weapons.
Growing concerned, he tilted his head in confusion at Makoto. "Makoto, did I just hear something about weapons?"

"P-Pentral-san..."
Makoto looked up at Leo before quickly turning away. Was Pentral trying to protect him? Even if he wasn't, he was in trouble. 'Meet you at the Hotel soon...'? What if he couldn't?
"He said he'll meet us at the Hotel..." Makoto answered, not aware how many hotels the Island had and that 'The Hotel' usually referred to the big one.
