Souji looked up, and walked over to Yuugi and K1. "Good morning. I heard there was some kind of commotion down at the Mall, so I was on my way there. Are you two feeling alright?"
K1 nodded. "Just fine, really. We're on our way down to the mall ourselves anyways." He paused, suddenly remembering the Laplace Mail. "What kind of commotion are you talking about anyways?"
"They found a dead body in a Haagen Dazs there," Souji explained. "I just heard about it. Apparently someone broke into the mall last night and killed the manager of the store there. A security guard who was supposed to be on duty has gone missing as well." He paused. "They found the body hanging from a cell phone tower though, so I'm going to investigate."
"...A cell phone tower?" K1 asked. That was... bizarre.
"I'm thinking's it's unrelated to the shadows, because they were able to tell how the manager died, but that still takes a sick person to do that... and someone who knows about the Midnight Channel," Souji said.

Yuugi nodded, but let K1 ask his question. He paled a bit as Souji gave the description of what had happened at the mall. K1 covered any thoughts he might have on it. However, when Souji brought up the Midnight Channel, he blinked, unsure how that would relate to murders.
"What's that? Oh, and my name's Mutou Yuugi," Yuugi replied, quickly bowing, "This is K1-kun."
The question may have come acrosss as odd, as Souji had mentioned the channel last night. In Yuugi's defense, he had practically been asleep on his feet. Between that and the lingering shock from the Dark Hour, one could probably count it lucky he remembered Souji at all.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Souji Seta." Souji said, deciding to introduce himself again. "The Midnight Channel is a TV channel of sorts. It shows whatever is on the public's mind at the time, and is a gateway into the TV World, where Shadows come from, or least, where they did before the Dark Hour appeared. Anyways, the Midnight Channel shows up at midnight on a turned off television on a rainy night. It's nothing special, really, but there was a killer who targeted his victims because they appeared on the Midnight Channel."
"That's sick," K1 said. Out of morbid curiousity, he asked, "How did he kill them?"
"Ah." Souji took a moment to think about it. "Basically, he pushed them inside the TV World and waited for a foggy day. Their Shadow would then go berserk and devour them. The body of the person would then show up hanging upside-down from an antenna, or some power lines... you see now why I wanted to go investigate?"
K1 nodded and chose to change the subject. "W-Well, we're going the same way, so we might as well walk with you."

Yuugi managed to pale more as the conversation went on. That was a terrible power. He felt questions surfacing and tried to sort together the fuzzy memories from the night before. Many of them had set him as a bystander thanks to Atem being active most of the Hour, but he was able to come up with a question. He glanced at K1 for a moment.
I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfortable, K1-kun... but I think we need to know...
"Wait, people have Shadows too? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I thought Shadows were seperate and some people had Personae. Seta-kun, if you and Minato-kun are from the same world, how does that work?"
Yuugi walked with the group as he spoke.
(OOC: Feel free to thread jump or continue here. Also, I've noticed Yuugi seems to use -kun and -chan for EVERYONE while rewatching Yuugiou. Doesn't use -san much at all.)

K1 flinched when Yuugi approached the question. Well, at least Yuugi hadn't decided to ask K1 about Abel.
"A shadow and a persona are one and the same. The only difference is whether someone accepts the shadow or not," Souji explained. "So basically, the reason personas are able to defeat shadows is because they're shadows themselves."
"Fighting fire with fire huh..." K1 mumbled.
