Yuugi heard footsteps on the stairs. It wasn't out of the question for someone to be up this early, but he hadn't expected it to be Souji. Who looked, to put it nicely, terrible. Concern spread across Yuugi's face as he headed down a few steps.
"Are you alright, Seta-kun?"

Naoya closed his COMP and cracked open the door the the bedroom. He actually smiled a bit, and softer than what most people could see. He'd never wondered how his cousin could sleep like that. It looked like he was going to suffocate himself. He quietly closed the door and turned towards the Apartment entrance. One of the group would probably be at the door soon.

Souji looked up. "Oh, morning Yuugi-kun. Yes, I'm fine. I just didn't sleep well last night." He blamed the combination of there was only one day left to save Atem, Adachi still being here, the Evokers, the Dark Hour, and K1's problems, which he still seemed reluctant to share. Yuugi definitely knew about them, though, from what he could tell.

Minato pulled his Evoker out of its holster and examined it.
People who didn't have the potential risked being killed by their Persona if they used this thing. But not people with the Potential. After all, Atem's Persona hadn't started trying to kill him...
But it was trying to kill him now, wasn't it? After all, personas are shadows...
He shook his head. He wouldn't use the Evoker, but if it came to a life or death situation, that gun would come up to his head.

Yuugi looked pained, but nodded. His "wonderful" skills at hiding his emotions meant it was obvious he didn't really buy Souji's reassurance. But he had a funny feeling he knew what the problem was. Adachi. Yuugi looked away and swallowed hard. Atem... wouldn't react well towards the man after being rescued. He wasn't sure he could keep him in the Puzzle this time.
"Um... were you going to check on me and K1-kun? I don't know if him and Kimura-san are up..." he turned back to Souji as he trailed off.

Souji nodded. "It's best if we get an early start today. We only have one day to rescue Atem."

An alarm went off by K1's bed. His COMP. With a groan, he picked it up and checked the time. Oh. 6:00. Right.

Yuugi looked down at his feet. He knew about that, he'd have to be dead ten years to forget it, but it still wasn't fun to be reminded of it. He tried to push away a pained looked and nodded. He fell into step besides Souji and the door to Naoya's apartment opened less than five seconds before they would have reached it. He looked out just as K1's COMP was going off.
"I'll let him know you're here," he said, taking a moment to notice Souji's exhausted look before closing the door.
He walked towards the bedroom. Keiichi was still in the room. He tapped on the door, "Souji and Yuugi are here," he stated.

Souji glared at the door as it closed again. "I don't like him. There's just something off about that man."

K1 groaned and climbed out of bed. "Alright, give me a minute."
After a minute spent brushing his hair and making sure his clothes didn't stink to bad, as well as making sure his COMP was charged, he headed outside. "Mornin'. Where's Minato?"
"Downstairs," Souji said.

Naoya was actually mildly surprised that Keiichi didn't ask if he was coming with them. Which was rather annoying, really. But it gave him the opportunity to freely do what he wanted. He waited a few moments to make sure Keiichi wasn't coming back. It was probably a pointless measure, though. Once he was sure he opened up his COMP and input the commands. He raised an eyebrow.
It was possible the owner of the unidentifed COMP knew about the one in the church. It happened all the time during the Lockdown. Demon tamers seeking out the COMPs for various reasons. He shut down the COMP after checking the time. With his system, it wouldn't be a problem to keep track of things even if the one at the church was moved.

"He's coming with us, right?" Yuugi looked towards the stairs, "Um... I know you don't like the Evokers, Seta-kun, but the only other thing Minato-kun has are weapons... will those be enough?"

"His weapons should be enough." Souji stated. He seemed to be in an even worse mood. Even though it had been his suggestion to leave the TV World early the day before, he didn't seem to happy about the short amount of time they had. He still had his money on the Weather Channel, but the other two were trusting Naoya for some reason. Probably connected to that past of K1's that he wouldn't talk about.
Souji lead the way downstairs.
K1 made a mental note that he needed to "talk" to Souji once this was all over with.

Yuugi was having trouble reading Souji. Reading people weren't one of his best skills, despite having gotten better since solving the Puzzle, but Souji seemed really agitated. There was a friction between K1 and Souji, and the fact that Yuugi could see it made him wonder how tangible it actually was. It was almost comforting when he realized it reminded him of some of Honda and Jounouchi's interactions.
And then he winced for no reason, quickly turning to an uneasy smile if he saw Souji or K1 turn to him. If they really were acting like Honda and Jounouchi... K1 was probably going to get hurt. He didn't seem like he knew how to fight very well in that manner. And Souji did. He hoped he was wrong as the trio got to Minato's apartment.
He slipped ahead and knocked on the door before anyone else got the chance.

Minato opened the door. He seemed ready to go, with a short sword at his waist and his Evoker holstered. Souji's eyes moved to the holster before he spoke.
"I forgot to mention this, but there's a large amount of fog in the TV World. It'll be hard for you to see without these glasses." Souji pulled out his personal pair of glasses.
"So that's why you were wearing those glasses on the night of the first Dark Hour," Minato said. Surprisingly enough, Souji handed Minato his own pair.
"I can see fairly decently without them. You'll do better to wear them yourself," Souji said.
K1 gave Souji a sideways look. "Are we ready to go, then?"

Yuugi saw Souji nod and sighed. His fingers traced to his neck and he found the small silver chain Atem's cartouche hung from. He'd forgotten about it. He pulled it out and looked at it sadly before realizing the others were staring at him.
"It's nothing!" he waved his hands quicky, "We should go..."
He didn't wait for a response, quickly seperating from the group. His face got a little red and he hoped they couldn't see him. He'd heard about people who got an actual diagnosis of depression based on events. If this is what this was it felt terrible. He stayed ahead of the group, not wanting them to see his face right now. Maybe it wasn't very nice, but his messed up emotions only seemed to cause problems for the others...

A few minutes after the group left, Naoya exited the room. He flipped open the COMP. There was little doubt, the one he didn't know the owner to was heading towards the Church. He closed it seconds before the readout of the one at the church changed...
