"Past lover?" Chibi Moon paused for a moment, "Normal people can't remember their past lives! I wonder if this Zero has a Sailor Crystal like my father..."
She nodded, "I would appreciate the help. I've gotten so dependant on the Sailor Quartetto to back me up I'm having trouble fighting by myself."
(OOC: Okay, she's stopping even though she could respond to Nanoha. The reason why is a MAJOR MAJOR conflict of canon.
In the anime, the "Amazones Quartetto" (aka Amazoness Quartet) were the four girls who didn't want to grow up from SuperS. The ones with hair that quite frankly beats Yuugi for insanity. At the end of SuperS, they left saying that if they were meant to meet the canon characters again, they would.
However, in the manga they were revealed to be Sailor Soldiers that Neherennia had corrupted. By defeating Neherennia, the soldiers freed them.
The pink one is the leader (comparible to Venus) and is CereCere aka Sailor Ceres. The blue one (comparable to Mercury for powers and color) is PallaPalla aka Sailor Pallas. The green one (comparable to Jupiter for powers and color) is Junjun aka Sailor Juno. The red one (comparable to Sailor Mars for powers and color) is VesVes aka Sailor Vesta.)

Midori was a bit confused about the Quartet part, but now wasn't the time, there was someone they needed to defeat. "Then you'll definitely need our help then. I can't let this guy go running around! Who knows what he'll do!"
She turned to face Nanoha. "Oh yeah, shouldn't you change into your Barrier Jacket?"
Nanoha sweatdropped. "I was about to do that, actually." She lifted Raising Heart, and the red jewel on the staff glowed, and the pink frame of clothing appeared on her body where her clothes had been before, and solidified into a Barrier Jacket, a sort of clothing-like armor.
((OOC: Basically, the outfit she wears in her picture on her profile.))

Chibi Moon waved her hands. While she appreciated the enthusiasm, there was one pretty large problem, "Um... its not like I know where he is. We have to do some legwork first."
Which very well may have baffled Midori. Legwork? From the offspring of Usagi? In the anime, Chibiusa was as whiny as her mother, comparable to a sister and often mistaken as one. Without knowing the maturity and strength she possessed in the manga, volunteering to do legwork would seem very out of character.
(OOC: Can YOU tell which canon I prefer? XDD)

((OOC: Oh so very much. XD))
Midori's jaw dropped. Chibi Moon, wanting to walk around anywhere?! In her head, Midori was having to recite to herself over and over again, She's mangaverse Chibi Moon... She's Mangaverse Chibi Moon... It was the only way she wasn't flying into a flying rage.
Nanoha stared at Midori before turning to Chibi Moon. "Then I'll search from the air." She lifted her staff. "Flier Fin."
"Flier Fin." the staff repeated in a robotic voice, and formed pink wings on Nanoha's shoes so she could fly.

"That's so cool!" Chibi Moon explained, briefly going into her own version of a fangirl moment.
She paused and looked at Midori. Oh, she was never going to live that down. She coughed and nodded, "Good luck then. I'm going to go into civilian form. Hopefully I'll turn fewer heads."
Chibi Moon held her hands to her heart and closed her eyes. In a burst of pink sparkles with a few silver ones thrown in for good measure she stood in the pink outfit she had been forced to upon being thrust to the island.
A pink minidress with a black ribbon around the waist, tied in the back. She also had pink sandles that resembled cliche greek ones with the ribbon going halfway up her leg. Two black bows were tied around her hair buns, forming small ribbons in the front. She turned to Midori.
"You should come with me. I have no way to contact you. We can get Takamachi-san's attention since she's looking from the air."
Not only was she more willing to work than her anime counterpart, but she was taking the mantle of leader upon herself like she'd done so here entire life. Which was rather out of character for Usagi, let alone Chibiusa.
(OOC: BTW, there are several names that Midori might try to use for Chibiusa. Usagi (unlikely, she drops this name quickly in the manga), Chibiusa, Serenity, or Tsukino. Tsukino would be her surname.
I do know what Chibiusa is going to request she be called, though. But not until after Midori speaks.)

Midori turned to Chibiusa, having been busy watching Nanoha fly off.
"Huh? Oh, right. You don't have a COMP, so I wouldn't be able to mail you either, Chibiusa-chan," Midori said. She was still inner fangirling a bit, but not as much as before after finding out that Chibiusa didn't like her being a "Demon Summoning" Magical Girl.

Chibiusa frowned. Apparently the media this girl had learned about her from still insisted on using her nickname. Her 20th century nickname at that. She drew in a breath so she could speak more politely, "Please refer to me as Tsukino-san," It was, after all, the more polite thing to do. They had just met and there had been no sparks of instant friendship. Actually, Chibiusa may have allowed Usagi-san had Midori asked what she should call her. But certainly not "chan", an honorific that occured only between friends. She turned towards the mall and pointed, "We should start there, that's where I saw him last. He knows who I really am, but if he shows up again I want you to distract him. I don't need to reveal my identity to anyone else." She waited for Midori to respond. She wanted to make sure the older looking girl had understood her first. (OOC: CANON CONFLICT! Chibiusa is over 900 years old in the manga - Her growth had been stunted for an unknown reason presumably connected to her inability to use the Silver Crystal. In the anime, she was only as old as she looked. So this 12-13 year old acting like an adult might throw Midori off. Heck, she might even pull an "I'm your elder!" moment. )

Midori seemed more than a bit miffed at this. "No need to be so serious! Geez... you're less fun than..." She stopped herself. There wasn't a need to bring him up. Not in a conversation like this. That had already caused the rift between her and K1, and she didn't need to break down again.
"Fine, let's just go then, Tsukino-chan." Midori said. No need to use -san with someone who wasn't even older than she was.

Chibiusa let the cut off sentence sit. She twitched a bit at the insistance upon using "-chan", but chose not to comment. Half the battle had been won, although not the half she would have preferred.
Chibiusa walked into the mall and looked around. There were some doctors zipping up a body bag, and a crowd had gathered around where Bashton had killed the man. She grimaced, turning away and taking a wide berth. A police officer was questioning some people, and they were giving wildly different descriptions of this girl in a really weird outfit. Heck, some of them said the girl had silver hair, which Chibiusa might have found funny under different circumstances.
She headed for the opposite side of the large hall away that the body was at, turning to Dolly for a momen to gesture to her. She wanted to listen to the situation without becoming directly involved. After all, the canon she hailed from was not as forgiving about secret identities and she didn't want to jeapordize hers.
(OOC: Okay, explanation. In the anime, it seems the only way one can figure out Moon is Usagi is if the plot requires it. In the manga, its appears that a very observant person or one who has interacted with one or both forms a lot can figure it out. There is a level of disguise, but its relatively easy to crack. A lot of the not figuring out comes from "No way..." rather than "glamour".)

Midori followed after Chibiusa, and looked onto the scene. "Wow, this is crazy. But I bet anything that the guy who did this will be coming back to the scene of the crime. These guys always do," Midori said. She pulled out her COMP, just in case, and summoned Rangda.
"Rangda, stay on alert. That guy from earlier might be hanging around," Midori explained.
"Which one, the silver-haired one, or the shadowy one?" Rangda asked sarcastically. "Because they both looked very untrustworthy to me."
Midori gaped at Rangda. "Zero-sama is not untrustworthy!" Rangda just sighed.

Chibiusa jerked back as the demon came out of the COMP. It was extremely scary, something even Neherennia might have hesitated to use. She had her hand to her heart but stopped herself from transforming when she saw Dolly talking with it. That was one of her demons?
She swallowed hard and tried to regain her balance. She heard the conversation between the two and felt rather stuck between a rock and a hard place. This Zero was untrustworthy... according to a demon. She could ask about it... but she was a demon. Chibiusa quickly looked to the side and was surprised nobody even seemed to care about the demon. This world really was nuts... -----
In another part of the mall, a computer store to be exact, computers were sparking and going nuts. Mainly with virus warnings, which would appear seconds before a computer blew up. Oh yeah, Zero was active. And at the rate this part of the network was going would have to leave.
Stupid computer stores with their stupid excuses for virus protection...

Nanoha flew above El Grande Mall, and looked around. This would be easier if it weren't just her.
"Raising Heart, Wide Area Search, please," Nanoha said.
"Wide Area Search," the device repeated. Several glowing orbs formed from the device, and flew off into many directions, searching around El Grande Mall. The first thing one of them came across was the computer store.
"That looks suspicious. We should probably check it out," Nanoha said, and landed back on the ground before heading back into the mall through a side entrance to find the computer store.
---------------
Midori sighed. "Well, in any case, just be careful. I've only got you and Aniel right now, so I can't afford to lose you guys."

Yeah, totally couldn't stay here. And while it would be possible to escape to another part of the network, Zero was more than a little bored.
What made it truly amazing is no one saw Zero come out of a computer. The surveillance system for the store had been shot, so it wasn't even caught on tape. There was a large crowd of people trying to get out of the store, so Zero simply fell in with them and went with the flow of the mob.
He quickly fell into the crowd at the store. Despite his odd way of dressing he really was one of the more normal looking people there. After all, he did look human. He happened to walk by a side entrance just as Nanoha was coming in through it. If Raising Heart was sensitive to things like viruses, Zero would be more than a little irritating to her.... -----
The mob that had fled the store had mostly dispersed, but some of the more panicked customers were barelling down the escalators, not bothering to ride them like they should. Chibiusa was tring to figure out how to talk to the demon when several people ran past.
"Hey, what's wrong!" she shouted.
"The computers in one of the stores have gone mad! Like some kind of crazy terrorist thing or something!" The person ran off before Chibiusa could question them further.
"We have to check it out!" Chibiusa said. She didn't wait for confirmation from Midori before running towards one of the up escalators. She didn't want to be near the demon any more than she had to be.

However, Raising Heart wasn't picking up on anything, and instead Nanoha decided to ask Zero what was going on.
"Excuse me, but could you tell me what happened?" Nanoha asked. "There seems to be a large crowd of people fleeing that store."
--------
"H-Hey!" Midori said, and chased after Chibiusa, Rangda following after.
Once upstairs, Midori was the first to see Nanoha talking to Zero. "Hey! It's Zero-sama!" Rangda immidiately went on guard.

Zero turned to Nonoha, fully concealing his notice of the odd staff. He pointed over to where the computer store was being locked up, "Something weird happened at the computer store. Machines blowing up and the like. Actually quite freaky..."
Chibiusa reached the top of the stairs and was about to head towards the computer store when Midori squealed. Chibiusa jerked her head towards Zero who looked honestly surprised at Midori. He tried to bring it under quick composure and went into his "knight in shining armor" act.
"Magical Dolly, I suspected you were here,"
Chibiusa felt a twang in her heart upon seeing Zero's expression. It was the same gentle kindness her father gave her mother and Helios gave her. It was a look of pure eternal love. And his hair was white. Chibiusa's face turned bright pink and she turned away. His hair reminded her of Helios-kun and she was torn between feeling happy for Dolly and jealousy that the girl could be with the one she loved.
If nothing else, it was an indication of how well Zero was pulling off his con.
