Minato didn't ask why Yuugi was so tired; he figured it wasn't any of his business. "Wow... that's gotta suck." Minato grimaced. "Don't know how you deal with it."

K1 shrugged. "Sometimes I ask myself the same question. But we had no choice; Tokyo was locked down by the SDF, and anyone who tried to get out was shot. So we had a choice between getting killed by demons, and getting killed by the SDF. Most people chose the demons."

"Yuugi"'s stance changed. Atem could see his partner was ready to fall asleep on his feet. He was feeling it too, but he was able to put those kinds of things out of his head quicker.
"We're going to head back to the hotel," Atem said, "My partner's ready to fall down, and I'm feeling it too. K1, if you need anything, send a mail. I'd offer the same to you, Minato, but unless that Evoker has a mail function, there isn't anything we can do."

"Anyone that tried to leave was shot... how infuriating," Minato said, clenching his fists. "Thank goodness you've found another way to escape." Then he looked at Atem and sighed. "Sorry... I got a cellphone if you have one, but other then that..."

Atem pulled out the COMP and flipped it open. He scanned the "How to Use" mail for a few moments before looking up at Minato, "Does it have text messaging?" (OOC: Yeah, short. I'm assuming the COMP can text message. I mean, real-life computers can.  ) |

"Yeah...." K1 said. The government had been rather desperate to make sure no one got out of Tokyo. They didn't want the fact that demons existed becoming common knowledge.

Atem registered the information of Minato's phone for text messaging. He had been paying attention to the whole conversation.
"Whoever is in charge of where you lived should have been fed to the demons," he said to K1.
While a little extreme, one had to remember the power Atem had once had as Pharoah. Even his father had sacrificed his life to make up for his sins and to prevent his son from suffering the gods' wrath from them.
Not that Atem hadn'd made his own mistakes, but he'd always atoned for them in his own way. To him it sounded like K1's government didn't care.

He didn't answer that time. The fact was, they'd have to feed a lot of government people to the demons if that was the case.
"Oh, I should probably register your phone number in my COMP, too," K1 said, and pulled out his own COMP.

Atem was pleased with Minato's reaction to his "suggestion". Enough so that it earned a smile. He placed the COMP back into his pocket and gave a small wave.
"See you around, then."
(OOC: Atem's headed back to the hotel unless someone/something stops him. Michael's gave him at least enough money for another night.)
