Fox padded up to the river, his face brightened as he heard the watter and spotted the river. reaching it he looked over his shoulder at demon who was resting on his back. "We're here."

[demon]

Demon made no answer, but her arms locked tighter around Foxs neck. She mumbled something that sounded, close to "mmm'k, or not yet". It was hard to tell as her face was buried in his Shoulder, but it was clear she was slleep.

[night sky]

fox chuckled, trying to figure out what to do. eventually he sat down, not dislodging demon from his back, but letting her stay there as he cooled his foot paws.

She had been warm, that much she remembered as it was rare for her ever to be so. Now however she felt frozen and stiff.

With Fox Demon had started to violently shiver and her arms lock like a vice around his neck.

Flames flickered in and out of her vision, until she realized the flames were her and that she was trapped. she started to scream.

Demon started to scream, her face still hidden in Foxs shoulder, muffling the sound slightly.

FOx jumped slightly at hearing the scream. "Demon?" He asked looking over his shoulder seeing he shiver. Then her arms tightened around his neck. It took all his controll not to rip the arms away, Demon needed him. with a little work he broght her to his front, "Demon, calm down, i'm here, i'm here."

The shivering got wosre as she tryed to curl in on herself. Her energy levels started to drop.

She attemped to break the sheilding containg her. She contiued to scream, in rage and anger and then in fear. If she had been able to cry, in this form, or in general she would have. They had all betrayed her, every one of them. She got colder if possible. Ice would have been forming on her by now if she hadn't been as fire.

Demons screams died down to pained and frighten whimpers, mixed in were curses in a languge Fox didn't know, but even to his ears they were vulager.

Fox wrapped his tail around Demon doing his best to comfort her, as he embraced her, not caring that she would push him away in the end. All he knew was that she needed comfort. "Demon, what ever you're seeing, it's only a nightmare, please, you're not alone."

She barely heard it, it was to faint to be real, too unbelievable. How could she not be alone? They had all conspired against her, they all wanted her dead, gone. She was alone. She struggled harder against the barrier keeping her trapped, yet twisting in the flames was the hope that the voice that couldn't be was right.

Demons hands dug deep into Foxs furpulling hard ont he skin. Her energy dropped further.

[night sky]

"Demon, don't give up. i'm not going any where. I promise I wont leave!" Fox pulled Demon closer, trying to keep her warm. "I don;t abandon the ones i care about."

[demon]

It was louder this time, the voice, saying it cared. Surely it lied, nothing could care for her. She pulled herself to the center of the barriar, then exploded her self out ward. She did this many times, losing power every time she connected with the barriar, but it was cracking.

In Fox's arms Demons breathing was slowing down, her already slowy heart beat was almost at the brink of stopping and she was crying.

"I wont let you die!" fox flashed a one handed seal. "If you wont live because of my voice out here, then i'm comeing in.!" Fox's eye's glazed over as he entered the nightmare.

The barriar was cracking but her energy was almost gone. She was all but a small spark within the sphere. She flickered draw herself as up as densly as possible perparing for her final attempt at freedom. Just as she exploded, a light erupted at the edge of her expanding vision. There was a shout, it sounded like the voice from earlyer.

Fox screamed as the explosion hit him, darkness flashed on the edge of his vision while the rest of his vision turned red from the pain. as he started fall backwards, he slammed a paw down, righting himself. "Demon, i'm coming! Hang on I wont abandon you!" his eye's refocused as he powered his way through.
in the real world, fox was now badly burned, it was clear that when he returned to his body, he would be in much pain, and annoyed that the would repair his cloak that had been burrned to Ash, all a result of the spell he had cast upon himself.

The scream echoed around the Sphere. She was confused for a moment. SHe couldn't scream anymore. So it wasn't hers. No one else could be here. She was imagining things, she had to be. THen the voice was speaking again louder then the times before. Abandon her? But every already had. The thought echoed around as the scream had. She drew into herself until she was just a miniscle dot of light amoung darkness.

Fox dug his claws into a crack in the sphere, having materialized outside of it. his burnt skin cracking as he strained to give himself an opening. "I'm coming, just hang on a little more!" Fox grunted as he started prying a hole big enough to get through.
