"Masahiro!" Percy looked appalled. "How can you say that? Everyone will understand, they always do! Yes, this may be dangerous, but they'll consider your feelings too!" He caressed the angel gently. "Please, don't worry... I can't stand to see you so sad..."

"But... I..." Masahiro said.
And, unfortunately for Perceval, not everyone was thinking about considering Masahiro's feelings. As they were being escorted back to the room, Felix suddenly stopped. "They'll have impregnated him," he said.
"Hmmm?" Trevor asked. "They wanted to give him a baby?"
"... That must be the reason... He even said that they had given him a child... and that it was their major goal..." Felix's eyes widened and he seemed to suddenly be in a world of his own. "And if that's the case... then it means the child will be evil..."
"I don't like where you logic is heading," King said.
Felix turned, looking as if someone was following them, though no one was, and he seemed to grit his teeth, but still managed to get it out, knowing what everyone else was going to be like. "We have to destroy it."
As he expected, Trevor's natural reaction was to scream, "Are you out of your fucking mind?!"
"I understand your concerns, but be rational!" King said. "You're talking about an unborn life..."

"Shhh..." Percy soothed. "If anyone thinks otherwise... we'll convince them. We have to."
"Felix," Fletcher spoke up, trying to remain calm. "I know you act on impulse, but take a moment to think about what you're proposing. We could damage Masahiro even further than what he's been through already, both physically and emotionally. Do you really think that's fair?"

"One person or the world! Lives will be in jeo..." He didn't get to finish as Trevor's foot shot across his face.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" Trevor yelled.
"You don't get it," Felix said. "The aura... around the life forming within Masahiro... it's cold... it's dark... it's unrepentable! Just like Dederick was cold, dark, and unrepentable before...!"
"Oh god Felix, just shut up!" Trevor yelled. "Shut up, shut up, shut up! Don't talk about anything you don't get, you stupid son of a bitch!" Grabbing Felix by the shirt, he said something that would make the boy think really, really hard, especially for the future. "What if it wasn't Masahiro, huh?! What if the victim was Double D instead?! Would you still be screaming this nonsensical bullshit?! Would you?! WOULD YOU?!"
Felix did not answer. In truth, he already knew the answer to that, but didn't want to say it.

Flecther winced at Trevor's harshness slightly, but said nothing. If anyone could shake some sense into Felix, it would be the equally blunt swordsman.
In the Brit's arms, Double D quietly listened to the conversation, too weak to contribute, but equally torn as Felix. It was his duty as the Angel of Light to dispel all forms of darkness, but he wasn't sure he could bring himself to destory an unborn child and live with himself afterwards. And he also had a commitment to Perceval, and hurting Masahiro would go against THAT duty.
He stirred slightly in Flecther's arms, holding back a choked sob.

"It's our duty in service to Him to stop evil," Felix replied. "That's... really all I can say."
"Yeah... JUST LIKE IT WAS THEIR DUTY TO HIM TO KILL FLETCHER'S FAMILY!" Trevor counteracted, probably ripping Fletcher a little bit and tearing Felix open more. "JUST LIKE IT WAS THEIR DUTY TO HUNT DOWN THE GAYS, OR DON'T YOU REMEMBER LAWRENCE?!"
"Th-That's not us!"
"No, but it's people like you!" Trevor shook his fist. "Wake up! Wake the fuck up and stop acting like them!"

Fletcher visibly winced. He had hoped Trevor wouldn't have had to resort to that, but...
...things froze when a hand weakly clutched at Felix's shirt sleeve.
"F...Felix..." Double D moaned. "Please... w...we can't...I can't...!"

Felix wanted to break down more right there, but he couldn't bear to do it. He knew what had to be done; the voices in his head were already there, telling him what had to be done. They weren't inner voices. They were the voices of his superiors. He knew it to be so.

"I-I couldn't... I CAN'T... kill a child...!" Double D sobbed, burying his face in Fletcher's shirt. "I just can't...!"

You know what has to be done, the voice of God told Felix. Unfortunately this will lead you down a path of hardships greater then before, yet...
"There truely is no other alternative... the future is in my eyes," Felix said. "I don't want this... I don't want to... but I can't... I can't escape my fate."

(oh my.... drama time for me! for once! XD)
Fletcher blanched. "Felix...!"
"I... cannot let you..."
Attention turned back to Double D, who had turned away from his sanctuary, weakly glaring past his tears.
"...if you try... I'll have to stop you..." He grimaced, turning away. "I-I'm sorry..."

"Does it... does it really have to come to this?!" Felix cried. "Why?! Why are you...?!"
"I'll help," Trevor said.
"Huh?"
"I'll help Double D stop you. And I won't be as merciful. If you even try to get near Masahiro, I'll chop your damn head off. If you're going to go down the same path as Shinichi, I'll make sure you die the same way he did," Trevor replied.

"I'm...so sorry..." Double D sobbed, shaking. "I... have to protect him... for Percy's sake... Please, Felix, reconsider... for my sake, please...!"

The child would murder Edward... murder Marion... I'm sorry, but... you know what must be done... You will be able to do it... They say they'll stop you, but they cannot... They will not... I'll see to it, Felix. I'll intervene. But what I cannot do is promise that you will not suffer. This is going to be your equivalent of Hell, Edward's equivalent of Hell, and possibly that which drives him closer to becoming the Wizard... but you have to do it for the world's sake. There is... no other alternative.
(Lyrics begin here)
Now and then I'm scared, when I seem to forget how sounds become words or even sentences ... No, I don't speak anymore and what could I say, since no-one is there and there is nothing to say ...
So, I prefer to lie in darkest silence alone ... listening to the lack of light, or sound, or someone to talk to, for something to share ...- but there is no hope and no-one is there.
"Felix..." Trevor said.
"I... can't," Felix sobbed and gasped, as if all breath had left him, backing away, eyes full of the utmost despair, fear, and sadness. "I... can't... I can't... I..." Felix turned away and ran, bursting through the window of the complex and flying off into the sky.
"FELIX!" Trevor called, but when the boy was gone, fell to his knees. "This... can't be happening... You're... You're playing one big joke on me... ... ..." Thrusting his head to the sky, he screamed, "WHY THE fuck ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US?!"
No, no, no ...- not one living soul and there is nothing (left) to say, in darkness I lie all alone by myself, sleeping most of the time to endure the pain.
I am not breathing a word, I haven't spoken for weeks and yet the mistress inside me is (secretly) straining her ears. But there is no-one, and it seems to me at times that with every passing hour another word is leaving my mind ...
Felix landed on a tree branch in the park, clinging to it to make sure it was real, as if he couldn't half believe it could be. He held onto it sadly. They didn't see the evil near them, he knew. They'd want to protect it, but he had to get rid of it, thwart Shadow's plan to have them murdered. An unborn child... an unborn innocence...
You'll do what must be done... I know...
Felix nodded. "I know... I know what I have to do..." Tears still spilling down his eyes, he meekly nodded again and flew off somewhere else to hide. "I know..."
I am the mistress of loneliness, my court is deserted but I do not care. The presence of people is ugly and cold and something I can neither watch nor bear.
So, I prefer to lie in darkness silence alone, listening to the lack of light, or sound, or someone to talk to, for something to share ...- but there is no hope and no-one is there.
No, I don't speak anymore and what should I say, since no- one is there and there is nothing to say? All is oppressive, alles ist schwer, there is no-one and NO-ONE IS THERE...
(A little soundtrack for this depressing, yet very dramatic, thread =p)

Double D said nothing as Felix hurried away, his heart breaking in two. Why was this happening? Enough was already going on, why this too? Why now?
Was this another test? A test to his loyalty to his Lord and Savior?
If so, it was unfair. It was cold and cruel and completely unfair.
Fletcher frowned as the lad began to sob again. "...let him go, Trevor," he muttered heavily. "Let him gather his thoughts. Whatever he chooses... we'll be ready for him. We have to be." He glanced down at Double D. "..right, Eddward?"
Choking, Eddward slowly, grimly nodded.
