It was a bit of a rough night, that was for sure. When the knocking came, Trevor stirred and, whether it was day or night now he knew not, he still cursed silently and walked over towards the knocking. "I'm coming, I'm coming... but I warn you now, we're not buying anything," Trevor called. He opened the door and noticed Double D and Felix standing there, looking very sad. "... ... ... What's-a matter, you two?" he asked drowsilly and then looked around only now noticing that Felix was carrying someone. The sight would forever scar him, needless to say. What is this?" Trevor snarled, backing away. "What happened?!" Looking around as if there were some hidden enemies or assassins, he waved his hands. "Inside... come inside now!" "You act as if we did it," Felix said sadly, complying with the boy's demands. "I know it was not, though I wish it weren't done so in the first place. But with our luck, they'd probably still be following, which is why I'm so paranoid," Trevor replied. |

"Trev? What on earth's--" Fletcher stopped short at the visitors, suddenly quite wide awake. "Good God...!"
"W..." Double D appeared weakened himself, Perceval holding him steady and leading him into the apartment. "...we found him... in the castle..." he gasped, easing into a chair tiredly. "Something terrible... I-I tried to heal him, but..."

"What in the...?" King muttered, but when he saw Masahiro, he fell back, eyes wide. "Can't be... why would..."
"We don't know who... but they wanted to impregnate Masahiro with a demon child... odds are..." Felix said.
"Why... why would..." King muttered unaudibly, hardly able to believe what he was witnessing. "Why...?"

Double D said nothing, trying to catch his breath. His gaze was downcast; the overall dread in the room was hanging heavily on him like a lead weight.
Percy only sat right down at Masihiro's side, hugging him tightly. He also said nothing.

"Masahiro, who did this to you?" Trevor asked.
Most would've been ashamed to speak of it, but Masahiro looked at Trevor, his eyes dead, and simply said, "Shadow and her servents." His voice seemed gone, as it had been before, but at least he managed to say who it was.
"... Shadow, huh? Fine then. Tomorrow I'll tell Shine. Knowing her, the results will be chaotic," Trevor said. "She always told me if it concerned Shadow, let her handle it. I wonder how she'll handle it here."

"Shadow? You're thinking of the wrong person," Felix said. "Like Leon, she was our ally against Satan. But Leon was bound to become our enemy as well had he not died in the fashion he did. Now Shadow is Hell's Queen since Leon is dead. She's probably overcome by madness and is seeking to have evil rule this land. She never did care much about balance; she was too overcome by Leon, however, to question him."
"What I want to ask is what made her choose this?" Trevor said. "Shine told me she had suffered the same as both Felix and... now Masahiro. What kind of sick, demented...?"

"It's as Felix said, she's an unbalanced person," Fletcher spoke up. "Those people are the most difficult to understand oftentimes."
As Perceval began to sob over Masahiro, the heaviness in the aura all around, weighing on top of the weakness from his attampts at healing, Double D slid out of his chair, falling to the ground weakly.

Felix just looked down, the air crushing him as well. He could hardly breath through it all.
Trevor, unsensative to auras, just sighed. Then he noticed King, who was kneeled over and looked like the world had come crashing down on every last one of them.

"Oh dear..." Fletcher caught Felix, noticing Double D fall over as well. And then his lover... "...King...? Could you... help me take these two back to their dorm...?"

King looked up and stood, taking Felix and walking back towards the Eds dorm with him.
Masahiro just laid there, staring up at the ceiling with eyes that seemed devoid of life.

"No... I don't think we're gonna be able to figure this out," Masahiro said. "The others... they might... want... I can't blame them, but... how can I face them... tell them...?" His worry was that the others would force him to kill the child and he wasn't sure he could do it.
