Yuugi sweatdropped as Souji pushed past him and headed down the hall. He couldn't quite be sure the teenager was joking... he shook his head and looked at Ryoji, "Uh... what did you need to know?"
Ryoji swung his legs to the side and stood up, adjusting his scarf, "I don't really know where to begin with the questions," he paused, "Has Minato-kun been acting weird lately? He seems to be giving me the cold shoulder. Is he upset?"
Yuugi looked down the hall again, "I don't really know..."
I'm sure he has a reason, but I'm afraid I'll say something I shouldn't if I say anything about it... -----
Atem turned his head and shook it, "Yuugi got an e-mail from him, but I didn't read it. I think the time fluctuations effected things, though. The demon related aspects are gone... K1 is probably the King of Demons now," he looked up at Souji as he said hello, "I've honestly had better, Souji-kun," he said, keeping the newly adopted honorific Yuugi had heard before.
"He's a ki-" Teddie was speaking as if he was impressed and excited, but cut off when he saw Souji, "uh... Sensei...?" Teddie took a few steps back. Souji seemed to have a somewhat mischevious expression. That didn't seem to be a good thing at the moment...

Souji walked past Atem and toward Teddie. "Your 'Sensei' was not in the mood for you to yell. Not only that, but your yelling has caused injury to one of my students. And so... your Sensei has come to punish you." He suddenly pulled his cellphone out of his pajama pockets and flicked it open before dialing a number. He put the phone up to his ear as the other end began to ring.
"Oh, good, you're awake. You'd never guess who we found last night! That's right, Teddie! And you'd never believe what he said! He was so grateful when he found out you and Naoto were alive that he said he'd give all of his fur to you. I've got it right here, waiting for you," Souji said.
"Sempai, you are one twisted individual."
Souji's smirk fell. "Just get down here so I can punish Teddie."
"...What." Minato said. Just a flat "what."

At this point it was actually hard to tell whether Teddie was really worried or playing around. Actually, his face was a bit comical, and Atem realized that his "pretty boy" appearance was helping with the look. When Souji spoke he got probably the best example of the "D:" face that any human (form) could feasibly pull off.
Teddie scrambled to the back room, and Minato would hear his bathroomd door suddenly shut. And click, for that matter, as Teddie had locked it, "Sensei, you're insane!" he said from behind the closed door.
Atem nodded slowly as Minato spoke, "It actually reminds me of Jounouchi-kun and Honda-kun..." he expression shifted to a bittersweet smile. It was good that someone on the group was lighthearted about the whole mess. -----
Ryoji looked down at Yuugi. His expression had shifted at the question, it seemed to be something he didn't want to talk about. Which meant there was something going on. He looked a bit depressed for a moment but the look faded as he shook his head. He sat down again and sounded for the most part cheerful about his change of topic.
"So... is this an alternate dimension?"
Yuugi looked up and nodded, "Yeah. How'd you know?"
Ryoji smiled, "I don't have any idea how I got here and its not familiar."
"...none?" Yuugi said. That seemed odd.
"I...I think I was asleep," it was as if the memory was retroactive. As if Yuugi's pressing had created it rather than actual events. He pushed the cowlick like strand of hair out of where it had angled into his face, "Let's go see what chaos is happening at Minato-kun's."
He was smiling, but it was a blatent change of topic.

Souji ran after Teddie. "Hey! No hiding in the bathroom," he yelled. He sighed. "When Kanji gets up here, I'll just have to get him to rip the door off."
"No. You are not ripping off my door. If you do that, there won't be any doors LEFT in this apartment!" As Minato objected, he pointed to his bedroom. He hadn't been able to call someone in to fix that after Atem had knocked it down with his Persona.
Souji turned to Minato. "How had that happened anyways?"
Minato rubbed his neck again. "Long story, I'll tell you later."
Souji raised his eyebrow. Minato kept rubbing that one sore spot on his neck whenever questions related to his Persona came up. Either he was trying to send a message or it was a nervous response. "I've got all the time in the world."

"They can't have my fur!" Teddie shouted back, although it was a bit lighter toned. Atem had gotten to a more genuine smile by now. He glanced at Minato as the door was brought up, but remained quiet. The angle meant he saw Ryoji and Yuugi coming down the hall.
"You guys are as rowdy as me, Minato-kun, and Junpei-kun," Ryoji smiled. It was... somehow amazing how well the teen had fallen back into going with the flow. Denial (conscious or subconscious) was a powerful thing.
"I was just thinking it reminded me of Jounouchi-kun and Honda-kun," Yuugi had a slight smile, but there was still a bit of pain lingering in his eyes. It was to be expected, though - He was basically grieving.

Minato jumped and turned around as Ryoji spoke. "O-Oh, morning Ryoji-kun," he said once he recovered from the shock. He was still rubbing that spot on his neck nervously.
Souji groaned and walked away from the bathroom door. "I'm going back to bed... Ryoji, did Yuugi fill you in on everything?"

Ryoji looked saddened and averted his gaze, "Did I do something to upset you, Minato-kun? I know I left suddenly, but it was my parents... they went back to the states, there wasn't anyhing I could do. We've always moved around a lot," he looked up at Souji, "Oh, sort of. I don't really know what to ask..."
And I'm more worried about Minato-kun than any of that other stuff...
"I don't know where to start either," Yuugi said.
Atem was looking at Minato by now. He was gonna rub his neck raw. He had a feeling he knew why he was rubbing his neck. He hoped it wasn't a permanent tic. He had a few ideas for where to start with talking to Ryoji, but there was a tangible tension about Minato in relation to Ryoji. He just couldn't put his finger on what was causing it - Ryoji didn't seem aware of the issue, in any case.
As for Ryoji's comments... Minato hadn't really gotten into the full explanation of Ryoji being fully human as he was now. But Souji could share some empathy with Ryoji about the moving. At least the silver haired teenager had gotten to stay in Japan with all his moving, Ryoji's "memories" stated he had been to America.

"Ah," Souji said. He knew that Ryoji's memory of the US wasn't real, or at least was pretty sure of that fact, but he still could emphasize. Moving all of the time wasn't fun. His parents moving all of the time was what had led to his Shadow developing in the first place.
"A basic explanation is that you've been tossed into another dimension, which we just call the Dimensional Island, or the Island for short. Now, you, me, Teddie, and Minato, as well as my two friends downstairs, Kanji and Naoto, are all from the same dimension, but Yuugi and Atem are from a different dimension. Kimura Keiichi, Kimura Naoya, and Kurosawa Kaini, those three people you saw last night, are also from a different dimension than us," Souji explained. He didn't feel a need to explain too much about Keiichi, Kaini, and Naoya; Ryoji would probably never see them again now that they were gone. "That place you woke up in is another world that can be accessed through TVs by people who can summon a Persona. Those were those creatures all of us except the Kimuras were summoning to help you and Minato."
Minato was glad Souji had gone into Mr. Exposition mode. He didn't have to explain himself to Ryoji. The fact was, it was way more complicated than Ryoji thought it was. The fact that Ryoji's memories seemed to have reset was not helping matters.
"Yo. Someone called about a bear?"
Kanji and Naoto had walked into Minato's apartment. Naoto looked around at everyone gather around the door, and noticed that Teddie wasn't among them.
"Where's Teddie?" she asked.
"Bathroom," Souji said.

Ryoji's eyes seemed to light up as Naoto made her way past. He gave an impish grin as he nudged Souji with his elbow and spoke quietly, "You didn't tell me you were friends with a cute girl," he stepped towards Naoto with that same 'charming' smile that had caused most of the female (and probably a miniscule percent of the male) population of Gekkoukan to squeefit and extended his hand in an American style greeting, "Hi, I'm Mochizuki Ryoji."
What perhaps made it the most interesting is that Naoto wasn't dressed, nor was she carrying herself, any differently than normal. And yet Ryoji had instantly known she was female. Yuugi blinked at how forward Ryoji had suddenly become and Atem glanced a bit nervously over to Kanji... this probably wasn't gonna pan out well.
"Kanji-kun?" Chances were no one heard Teddie, though. What with Ryoji shamelessly hitting on Naoto and all.

Souji was confused. Minato was facepalming. Even Teddie, who wanted to "score" every girl he met hadn't been able to tell Naoto was a girl. Minato hadn't been aware of it himself until the vacation they'd taken. And Ryoji had been able to pick her out immediately. His Casanova-Sense must have been tingling.
Naoto looked down at Ryoji's hand when she looked behind him, and chose not to take it. Someone tapped on Ryoji's shoulder. When he looked behind him, he'd see Kanji standing over him, cracking his knuckles.

Ryoji noted that Naoto was looking behind him, and was actually about to turn when he felt the finger tapping on his shoulder. He did turn now, and saw Kanji's little "display". He didn't seem all that intimidated... actually, he seemed amused. He was still grinning, "Hey, if she has a problem with it she just had to say so."
Also known as he showed no signs of abandoning the chase. Yuugi looked nervous, but it was of the amused variety. Actually, though, he hoped Ryoji and Kanji didn't develop into an Otogi and Honda type situation. Otherwise known as two guys trying to show each other up for Jounouchi's little sister, Shizuka.
Atem was facepalming... partly as a measure to avoid chuckling. Yuugi wasn't the only one who had thought of Honda and Jounouchi. One could only be grateful Naoto didn't have a big brother nearby.
The bathroom door cracked open and Teddie stuck his head out. He beamed when he saw Naoto and Kanji, seemingly forgetting about the threats made earlier and not noticing the show Kanji was putting on now, "Naoto-kun! Kanji-kun!"
(OOC: In canon, they use -kun for Naoto.)

Naoto walked around Kanji and Ryoji, walking to a position where she could see Teddie better. "It's good to see you, Teddie."
"We found him last night while running after Minato. Minato had ended up in the other side and we didn't have long to find him," Souji said. Minato looked down as he said this. At least Souji wasn't saying exactly WHY he'd been in the TV World, which was a small blessing. "I'm sorry we didn't call for your help, but like I said, there wasn't a lot of time, and I didn't think you were awake."
"It's fine," Naoto stated. "Now, Senpai, I think you need to get to bed."
"I'm just not a morning person," Souji said.
"Obviously. We heard you from our room downstairs," Naoto stated. She crossed her arms.
Kanji was beet red as he tried coming up with a response to Ryoji. "She didn't-- you know what, get bent!"

Atem caught how deftly Souji had avoided the topic of why Minato hadn't been in the TV World. It was a good choice. The less people knew, the better. He wasn't sure what had been going through Minato's head when he went into the TV World. It seemed a large leap to him to assume that the Seal could be made in anyplace connected to Shadows. Then there was that... figure in his TV World. The mask it had worn had been unsettling, although he'd seen worse on Duel Monsters.
"We should probably all go back to bed," Yuugi said. It wasn't the same as with his friends from before. There was nothing he could do here. Nothing He jumped as he felt Atem's hands on his shoulder.
"How about we go out instead, partner?" This was not the time for Yuugi to be wallowing in grief. And although he'd been annoyed with the developments with K1, it still bothered him. Yuugi's obvious pain wasn't helping matters any.
"I'm not really up for that..."
Ryoji turned to Naoto and used his thumb to gesture towards Kanji, "Is he your boyfriend or something?"
"Oh, right! Ryoji-kun, Minato-kun, how did you two end up in the TV World?" Teddie asked. He had come out of the bathroom onto Souji's comments.
Souji would know the response to Minato. And for Ryoji, well guesses could be made. But it was a good question for someone out of the situation. And Teddie didn't know about the presence of a certain detective yet, either...
(OOC: I cut Yuugi and Atem's convo short so the others could react to it.)

Minato glanced toward Yuugi and Atem. Yuugi had been close to K1, and a blind man could see Yuugi hadn't taken K1 leaving well. "I'll come with, if you don't mind," Minato said. "Any hope of sleep was ruined thanks to the bear anyways." He glared at Teddie.
"He fell in," Souji said to Teddie, once again dodging around Minato's reason for being there. "I'm assuming the same happened with Ryoji."
Naoto wasn't convinced, and turned to Ryoji. "What did you say your last name was again?" Suddenly something processed, and Naoto added, "A-And we're not going out!"

Atem lookd up at Minato. It was more than obvious he was grateful for Minato's offer. If Minato wanted to go (whether he really did or not), it was likely Yuugi would go just to not disappoint the teen. And Yuugi got into things well enough.
"....alright. I don't know any place to go, though." Yuugi said. Atem relaxed a bit as he agreed.
Teddie saw Minato look at him, and the glare was returned with a goofy smile. He turned back to Souji. They just fell in? He seemed lost in thought. If they'd just found their powers before knowing about the TV World, that implied they'd gotten them the same why Souji had. But Ryoji didn't seem to have a Persona, and Minato had faced his shadow while they were there. And there was still the fact that Ryoji had seemed to almost if not outright scare some of the shadows... he didn't like it, but there were a lot of holes in Souji's explanation.
"Mochizuki. But you can call me Ryoji," he winked, and somewhere five fangirls fainted.
He was grinning ear to ear. Okay, so maybe Kanji and Naoto liked each other. But they sure as hell weren't admitting it. And Ryoji wasn't the type to back off at the slightest window of opportunity. He was known for attempting to hit on girls when the entire world saw no possibility. Like Mitsuru.
(OOC: The kanji is important in intended name meanings and such, so Naoto might think it smart to ask him to write it down.
Also, on what Ryoji said - It's considered odd to immediately let a person use your first name, especially without an honorific. At least I've seen it taken that way in anime. In Ryoji's case, he's being totally forward. XD)
