Weapons: Desmond possesses an infinite number of high-tech weapons from across the cosmos. His favored weapon is a shepherd's cane he always carries with him. The cane's shape can change in any way, even to the point of multiplying.
Abilities/Powers: As a cyborg, Desmond is ten times stronger than normal people. He is also a technopath, able to communicate with machines telepathically in binary. His psychic powers also extend to the ability to see into the near or distant future.
Skills: Desmond is a talented architect, and with his powers could construct a building in a matter of seconds.
Personality: While Desmond can come off as stern and harsh, he does have a much more social side beneath his gruff exterior. However, he refuses to see the world in shades of gray, believing that any and all evil doers must be eliminated. He is extremely spiritual, though nobody can tell what religion he is preaching.
History: Growing up in New Babylon, Desmond was expected to be like everybody else-- a drone. But in his teenage years, he sought rebellion by having a heated relationship with another boy his age. When his caretakers found out, Desmond's lover was put to death-- non-Wizard approved relatopnships weren't allowed.
It seemed Desmond was doomed-- however, in a rare show of mercy, the Wizard decided that execution was too cruel for a crime of the heart (After all, the Wizard couldn't control emotion). However, when Desmond pointed out the hypocrisy of this-- his lover had already been killed-- one of the Wizard's guards, Shapeless, stabbed his eye out.
Deformed and in pain, Desmond was put into a special shuttel and banished from New Babylon. In the ten years he flew, he grew to hate the Wizard-- more than that, he saw things as he flew: crimes committed in the worlds outside the Red. Evil; war; depravity. He grew sick of it all.
Then he gained his powers.
With a mere thought, he stopped his ship; on a whim, he changed its course. He didn't know where he was going-- another world, perhaps? It turned out that was the case. He landed on an aboriginal world inhabited by robotic primitives. They gave him a home and repaired his injuries, making him like them. They taught him the ways of the stars and the skies; how to find gates to other worlds.
And then he gained his other power.
Desmond saw, in hundreds of years, monsters descending on this world-- creatures of hate and pure evil. He warned his comrades in such a fury that he seemed to be a religious prophet. Leading them as a new Moses, he found a portal to a new world-- one where machines and men ruled side-by-side.
And so it went; Desmond traveled from world to world, gathering followers by predicting their doom and offering salvation. And he gathered technology, keeping it inside of him.
Until one day...
It was Peach Creek. He met young children; and he saw what one would become. The monster that would destroy everything and make Desmond suffer so. And so Desmond and his Cult burned Peach Creek to the ground.
Desmond swore on that day to go to every world and find every alternate version of that boy-- to burn and kill him and prevent the monster from emerging. Then, his followers would wipe out all sin throughout the multiverse and rule over a new reality.
With him as God.
