Frachise: A Megaman Battle Network OC based on ‘Harpuia’, a boss and main character in the ‘Megaman Zero’ series, and the name is brought on by Harpuia’s lookalike ‘Tornado Man’ from Megman 9. So there will be mixtures here.
Physical Description: Harpuia EXE does share a few resemblences to his namesake of Megaman Zero fame, with a light green cape and two mandible like horns on the green helmet on his head. In appearance however, the similarities end there. Under the green cape he has a light yellow armor with blue streaks, and a black jumpsuit underneath that. He wears light blue gloves, with green boots, and is often seen with blonde hair under his helmet. An emblem with two light purple swords crossed with each other can be found on his chest.
Weapons: Harpuia EXE is often seen wielding two light purple beam swords in battle, further making him appear to look like his namesake, he can even fly when these beam swords are brought out. However, to bring Harpuia closer to resembling his namesake’s look alike ‘Tornado Man’ he can also use place his two swords together and spin them around like helicoptor rotors, creating tornadoes.
Abilities/Powers: Harpuia is a Net Navi that can fly during battle. Along with this, he has a couple of innate abilities granted to him by his fellow Net Navi’s (Whom shall be revealed later). In this case, Harpuia is the lead hero amongst Gene’s line of Custom Net Navi’s.
Skills: He is a skilled dual sword fighter, as well as a fast flier. Quick on his feet, Harpuia is well known for his agility, which makes him deserving of the figurehead title over the Net-Battle Forum Gene runs.
Personality: Serious, battle ready, and no-nonsense, Harpuia deserves the title of soldier. However, even Harpuia is not immune to emotion, which is easily broadcasted with his relationship with the Net-Navi ‘Leviathan’ whom shares feelings with him. He is remarkably mature, and honorable during a fight, much unlike Juno whom a fights with very little provocation. Tough guy to the core, Harpuia is hard for even the toughest of net-battlers to take down in a fight.
History: Harpuia EXE’s story is essentially the same as Juno’s, one of the major differences is that he was one of the first Net-Navi’s Gene’s ever created. When viruses attacked Gene’s computer for the first time, Harpuia EXE gave his all against the viruses, but even his success was greatly overshadowed by that of Juno’s. Even then however, Harpuia was wary of Juno, sensing a great imbalance in the Navi’s programming; a factor that he repeatedly tried to bring up to Gene, when ever Juno wasn’t listening in, which was shot down before he could even try.
His feelings of forebodings finally came to realization, much to his own horror, when Juno went completely insane. In order to protect the Navi’s in Gene’s super computer laptop, he stood up to Juno, to disasterous results. Before Harpuia could be fully deleted, Gene quickly stepped in, by putting Juno to sleep, and recoding the navi’s data. However, it didn’t make Harpuia feel any better to see Juno back and in one piece, especially due to his new, sadistic battle style. Even now, Harpuia keeps a close eye on Juno, fearing that his next fight against the well armored navi would be soon on the horizon…
Other: Harpuia and Leviathan are rare cases among Net-Navi’s, whom have the capacity to love. Gene has once explained that this capacity originally started out as an anomaly in the two’s programming. “As unwise a decision as it seemed at the time, I’m glad I decided to ignore it.” Is what his words were exactly. With this in mind, Gene looks at his creations like a proud father, and his creations look at him like their master. That aside, Harpuia now holds the title of ‘Expert Virus Hunter’.
