Characters' Dominant Hands?

Do you know your characters' dominant hand? In reality, humans tend to be right handed. Now, I myself have a tendency to make my evil characters left handed (a self-trope I call "Devil's Hand") but its by no means limited to my evil ones. Heck, I probably have more left handed than not when it comes to my characters.

This is operating on the dangerous assumption of human tendencies, though. So if your character is of a race that left handedness is more common, you might want to point that out.

Born Left, Is Left: The character was born with an inclinantion towards their left hand and that hand is used for most things. Rather uncommon among humans from our world.

Born Right, Is Right: The character was born with an inclination towards their right hand and that hand is used for most things. Most common among humans from our world.

Born Left, Forced Right: Was common in our world's (at least America's) history. Known to cause psychological problems. The character was born with an inclination to be left handed and forced somehow to be right handed.

Born Right, Forced Left: Unheard of in our world's (at least America's) history. Probably would cause psychological problems. The character was born with an inclination to be right handed and forced somehow to be left handed.

Born Ambidexterous: Pretty sure this is actually rarer than being left handed. The characters' brain is just wired to use both hands with equal skill. Probably wouldn't cause psychological problems to force them in either direction, cause they are equally skilled.

Born Right, Trained Ambidexterous: The character was born with an inclination towards their right hand, but worked at being ambidexterous. Tends to have slight favor for the right hand, but possibly not.

Born Left, Trained Ambidexterous: The character was born with an inclination towards their left hand, but worked at being ambidexterous. Tends to have slight favor for the left hand, but possibly not.

Usually Right: They favor their right hand by birth, but do a lot of things with their left, often without realizing. This is me. Characters like this can not write well with their non dominant hand.

Usually Left: They favor their left hand by birth, but do a lot of things with their right, often without realizing. Characters like this can not write well with their non dominant hand.

Why does this thread exist? So I can show off how I make stupid notes about my characters. Its also so you can maybe think about it if you don't already do, and/or post your own characters! If your character is of a race that tends towards something other than born right, you might wanna make a point of it though. Feel free to justify the choice, I've done so for at least some of my characters. XD

Ryou Bakura: Usually Left (first arc of the manga, original anime. No one types that well with their left hand only without being at least somewhat dominant)
Anpu: Born Left, Trained Ambi (useful skill for thieves)
NiGHTS: Born Ambi (born, created, whatever. Nightmaren aren't really wired one way or the other)
Reala: Born Ambi (see notes on NiGHTS)
Kisa/Kisara: Born Right, Is Right
Teddie: Born Ambi (not really human, but he does tend to favor right via his observation of others. Equally good with both)
Lucius: Born Ambi (heavily favors left though, but he's equally good with both. Seems left handed to those that observe him, though)
Ryoji: ?? (Whatever Minato is, those that know his backstory get why)
Schala: Usually Right
Magus: Born Right, Trained Ambi
Zero: Born Ambi (not really human, so take this with a grain of salt)
Uno: Born Ambi (she's at her basest a Zero clone, so yeah)
Belphegor: Was Ambi (he's kind of dead now, though)
Seth: ?? (same as what Keiichi was before becoming King of Bel)
Cain: Born Left, Trained Ambi (but not trained in THIS life)
Kaiba: Usually Right
Nyarlathotep: Born Ambi (but he's a demon. One based on a Lovecraftian Outer God, so take that with quite a bit of salt.)
Momoko: Born Right, Is Right
Chistopher: Born Right, Is Right
Thane: Born Right, Trained Ambi (well... more of a bleedover from being merged with Hades than TRAINED)
Hermia: Born Ambi (she's an angel, so yeah. She has enough sense to seem right exclusive when she's controlling Chris' form)
Hades: Born Ambi (he's a demon, so yeah)
Izanami: Born Right, Trained Ambi (... her avatar was "Is Right) but it's been centuries since the avatar was anything but a shell and Izanami's a GODDESS)
Prince William: Born Right, Trained Ambi (partially from boredom, he's a ghost after all)
Jeff Madison: Usually Right
Ms. Tachi: Born Ambi (but certain injuries mean she heavily favors one hand. She's a doppelganger of FF's canon, and I'm going out on a limb and assuming that in true form they are all naturally ambi)
Chibi Moon: Usually Right
Himitsu: Born Right, Trained Ambi (for several millenia, at that. Her age? Don't ask a lady that!)
Kaido: Usually Right

Li'l D: Born Ambidextrous? (you've gotta have some skill to use both hands equally well with the drums)
Phil: Born Left, Is Left? (well, he appears to be playing a left-handed bass sometimes...)
Tanachu: Born Right, Is Right (kind of hard since her hands aren't exactly hands)
Miles: Born Left, Trained Right (Upbringing)
Teala: Born Right, Is Right? (she doesn't like to use her hands that much, since they're basically just three small claws)

Yeah, maybe I should have an "Other" for our neighborhood quadrapeds, for things like mouths and tails. Or tentacled things. XD This kinda assumes a two-handed biped (at least at birth/creation). XD

The Walrus: left. He's a fictional character and knows it, so he wasn't really born at all and he'd kill himself if he had to admit I was his "mother".
