Okay. Alright. I made a mistake.

Due to my own misknowledge, I approved a double-canon entry when I shouldn't have. I'm sorry about that, and I've quickly taken care of it and informed him.

But this whole 'formal complaint' deal? I dunno, it just... kinda bothers me.

This isn't some massive forum with hundreds of thousands of members. We've built a small little community here, which is a good thing, trust me! Everybody knows each other, everybody's friends. So if there's ever a problem, just tell me! Talk to me like you normally would to another friend. Relay the issue to me in a calm, collected manner, and I'll take care of it. Just because I'm not on here 24-7, doesn't mean I'm some impersonal GM who hardly cares about this place.

I've put lotsa love and work here to make your time here enjoyable, and I try really hard to make it a friendly enviornment. Too many forums lack the personal touch between members and admin that we have, and there's nothing more important to me than a good community with good friends and communication.

Maybe this has made me a little too lax with the rules. I dunno. If anything, I'll learn from this and try to be a better admin for everyone. But the last thing I wanna do is to come off as impersonal.

As a human being, I make mistakes. I'm not perfect. I took up the reigns to this place as saturn's life got busier and busier, but this is my first time in charge of a full community, and believe me, it's quite the job. That's why I asked for global moderators to help me out.

All I ask for when I DO make mistakes is a little less impersonal response in return. None of these 'formal complaints,' okay? This ain't a work office, for crying out loud. XD

Like I said, we're all friends, and we should treat each other as such. Let's work together to maintain this positive relationship; after all, we're here to escape the cruddy stuff in our real lives, right? Believe me, I deal with enough crap between me and my peers, especially around this film we're all working on. Lotsa drama. Whew.

Sorry for the mini-rant, no intention of making anyone feel bad. I'm not angry at all. This is only a reminder to me of what we're all doing in this crazy island adventure, and I hope it is for you too.

The whole formal thing on my end was because I used to be a mod on another site, was one for about three years too before I quit the site, and when it comes to things like this, on there it was better to be formal or none of the staff would listen to you. Then again, on that other site, the staff got yelled at a lot for being too friendly with the users because they were supposedly playing favorites.

I know I've probably already said this to everyone, but I want to take this post to not only make a formal note, but also a personal one.

Needless to say, I'm sure a few of us here already know about which character bio is the source of the problem. So because of that, I feel greatly resposible for the grief that's being shown in this thread. I should've figured someone would have a problem with it, I should've known someone would respond...

But instead, I went along with it, making, most likely, the most idiotic mistake I've ever made on this site. A few of you know what I mean, seeing as how, at some points, I've unintentionally godmodded during my time here. In this, I wish to apologize profusely for what I've done. No, I'm not laughing awkwardly at this mistake, in fact, I mourn it. I'm the kind of person that never wants to make another person mad at me for a mistake I've made. And I'm afraid, I've probably ticked off quite a few people with this.

So again, I'm sorry. I'll be more careful in the future. Oh, and another thing, if I end up doing something this stupid again, Don't be afraid to tell me this as well, since the bio was my fault to begin with. And NN1, don't blame yourself, if anything, this whole mess was my fault.

DanMat: Its when you sign up two canons at once with no discernable reason for doing so.

An example for doing it with a reason: The characters are irremovably linked. An example would be how I signed up for Yuugi and Atem of YGO. They share a body. They hold conversations in their minds. Its basically impossible to have two people play them. The same goes for Bakura and Canon Yami no Bakura - As well as Anpu because despite not being Yami no Bakura as he is in canon, he is linked to Bakura in the same way.

What Gantz did (I'm no longer upset Gantz, but I want to use it as an example) was to sign up two close team mates. They can act seperately. Basically he got a living weapon and his user.

When you have two closely linked team mates like that, the best thing to do is to get one and request to a mod that the other be reserved. Jun Sakurada and Shinku of Rozen Maiden have a similar team mate thing. Jun is Shinku's source of power, and while she can fight without her "medium" it creates issues if they are played as canon. I have them both reserved, but have them as seperate sign ups.

NN1: I went formal for the same reason FF mentioned. I find when dealing with the "administration" side of boards, formality is what is expected in most places. I'll know from now on to be laid back about it. Like I said, I apologize for my end of the mess.

Gantz: You don't have to feel so bad. I didn't mention it to you because it was a staff related thing. NN1 does have the most authority here so when something like that comes up I like to relay it to her as she is basically the word of god on the boards. If she says something flies, it does, and I didn't want to cause more trouble than I needed to.
