"Okay," Abel said. He smiled at Cain as he left. He really was grateful for his brother's help, even if he didn't show it most of the time because of how much Cain pissed off his demonic side. Cain was right in that regard; he would be the first to die if he lost his human emotions.
Abel sighed. He had to accept that he had both a demonic side and a human side and deal with it. Easier said than done. The human side was repulsed by a lot of the things the demonic side did, and disturbed by a lot of the side effects of becoming demonic in the first place. The demonic side was just annoyed by the human emotions. This was probably the most dangerous case of split personality ever.

As Cain was entering his room again, Nirad had reached the bottom of the stairs. He had folded the wing at the still existing joint point by hand and carefully put it under his arm. There was in fact a chance it could be reattached, the literal tear had been surprisingly clean. He'd never be able to fly as well as he could before, but with enough intense healing and training he could at least prevent himself from being a walking target. It would never look beautiful again, but at this point the demon was more concerned with survival. He spent the energy to cast Diarahan again. While it wasn't a matter of life force at the moment, he wanted to stop the bit of seeping the wound was still doing. It succeeded.
"Nirad!?"
Nirad jerked his head up in surprise. Seth looked like he had been sitting in the lobby area. Now the Prince was on his feet, a magazine on the floor. At first he had nothing but concern on his face, and Nirad wasn't sure if he should be upset at the weakness or grateful for the concern. He found he was neither when Seth's expression changed from concern to flat with traces of anger. The clerk behind the counter looked up as Seth pretty much stormed over to Nirad. There was a height difference, but the critical gaze Seth was giving the demon made up for it.
"Did you do anything to cause that?"'
"I was candid. The King wanted my opinion, I gave it without showing submission. I'm not denying I deserved a reaction, but-"
"Don't. Just don't justify yourself. Nirad, I won't lie. Removing my siblings and Atsuro, I enjoy your company the most. In regards to Abel, I'll even admit I prefer your company as its safer. What did you say to him?"
Nirad scowled and looked away. Despite being human in both body and presentation, the Prince could sometimes mimic his brother a bit well. There was a time when Seth would have merely been concerned about him or asked if the wing could be reattached. Now... well, it was perhaps a surprise it had taken this long.
"Don't ignore me, Nirad."
"I told him the truth, Your Highness. The truth is that he is better off discarding his human emotions."
Seth glared, "I told you not to bring that up!"
"If I had not brough it up, I may very well be dead! Although that would perhaps be better," Nirad held up the wing, "I'm an Avian, Your Highness. If I can't get this reattached I'll be literally eaten alive the first chance another demon gets!"
The clerk had suddenly realized how very busy he was. He'd realized he had oh so much to do in the back room and had gone there rather quickly. There was what had to be a demon there. A demon with one wing unattached, and it didn't seem the limb was supposed to be seperate by the visible blood on the creature's back. He had caugh Nirad's reference to "King" just as he was running off. The human-looking boy the demon was talking to also seemed to be losing his patient, so there really was so very much to do... in the back room.

Abel sighed and stood up off of the bed. He had to get out of that room. It was stifling, and all it did was make him feel worse. The slight stench of blood hanging in the air wasn't helping. He slipped on his shoes as he headed out of the room, but he didn't grab his cape. If he was going out in public, it wasn't worth it to bring it along. It would just attract attention he didn't want at the moment.
It didn't take him too long to make it down the stairs. Abel made it down to the lobby just as Nirad held up the wing and made his point that he'd be eaten alive by demons the moment one got a chance to. Abel glared at the demon, but at the same time, he couldn't hate it too much. It was his own fault the wing had been ripped off, because he couldn't control his temper. That was the thing Abel was focusing on now. He'd decided to start with controlling his horrid temper since he hadn't been doing too well with controlling his demonic side that he now had to accept.
He turned toward Seth, ignoring Nirad. "I'm going out. I'm going to lose it if I stay here. You wanna come?" It was most likely going to be a yes. Seth didn't like to leave him alone, that much was obvious, and it was for reasons that were more than obvious to anyone involved.
---------------
There was a sound like crackling electricity as a man appeared outside of the hotel. Well, he wasn't much of a man; the cat ears on his head were proof enough of that. He looked around confused for a moment before sighing. He didn't know what was going on, but one thing was obvious: he'd screwed up somehow.
But at least he'd appeared in a populated area. Enjin was still very confused, but first of all he needed to find out where he was and what was going on. And what better thing to do than ask the employees of this hotel?
He pushed the door to the hotel open, and found himself looking at what seemed to be growing into a rather intense faceoff between two human-looking figures and a bird-man of sorts. A one winged birdman.
Electricity crackled around Enjin's cat ears for a moment as he read one particular man, the unscarred of the two twins.
...Demon King, yeah right. Never liked this, never wanted this, losing my mind because of this... Stupid Cain. Just... stupid Cain. Christ, I feel like I need a drink. And I don't even drink.
"A little distressed, Maoh?" Enjin asked. The unscarred twin suddenly looked up at the sound of the japanese word for his title. His expression turned into a glare.
What the hell...?! He looks like Naoya!
"Who are you?!" the unscarred teen barked.

Seth's eyes had widened in surprise as Abel came off the stairwell. Nirad's defiant glare dropped and he seemed just short of worried as he turned as well. The Garuda was smart enough to avert its gaze when he realized Abel was glaring at him. He'd been ordered to send someone up to take care of the mess in the room, and it was rather possible Abel had not appreciated the delay.
The Prince took a step forward but stopped when Abel addressed him. He was being invited, even with the way he'd been clinging. Despite the glare and now complete ignoral of Nirad, Seth had a feeling the human emotions were more prominent. He gave a small, but very genuine smile towards his brother around the time Enjin was picking up on Abel's thoughts. He was mid-nod and had his mouth opened to confirm that he wanted to go when he heard a voice address Abel the same way Cain referred the position. He blinked and turned towards Enjin and his brain tried to derail. Reflex alone was responsible for reaching into his pocket and grasping his COMP. He said nothing, but gave a nervous glance towards Abel. The person looked more like a sibling to Cain than either he or his twin did...
Nirad had seen Enjin before anyone else. He couldn't deny that the man looked more than a bit like Cain. The ears, which Nirad didn't think were ears in the human sense of the things, showed it was clearly not Cain. The voice was wrong as well. Nirad didn't do anything else. He had not been ordered to attack and quite frankly he was not in the condition to do so either. Despite being a demon, Nirad had no ability to block mind reading nor any reason to. After all, he didn't know the man.
If he attacks us I'm likely dead... perhaps that is best. Still, those ears don't seem decorational, but I'm not sensing any demonic energy from him. If he's wise he won't piss Abel off... Nirad thought.
What the hell's going on!? Please... don't upset him. He's already having enough problems and K1 is prominent, so please don't upset him... but who in the human or demon world is he...? Seth thought.

Enjin gave a slight chuckle at how the three reacted to his appearance. Two of them, who appeared to be twins based on their similar styles of dress and just general appearance, had gone defensive at his appearance. One of them seemed a slight bit unstable, and apparently thought he looked like someone named Naoya. Enjin couldn't claim to know any Naoyas, but it was possible this Naoya was one of Gin's relatives. The other, the one who had reached into his pocket for some reason, was practically pleading for him to not piss this demon king off. And his name was Keiichi, based on the nickname the heavily-scarred of the twins had given him. Interesting.
He almost had to chuckle at the thoughts of the bird-like being. It was possible that thing was a demon, which fit its thoughts. It couldn't sense any demonic energy from him, though. Well, of course it couldn't. That little girl's sweet little "nii-chan"'s spirit was only hanging around just as much as it needed to for Enjin to use Gin's satori powers.
He stopped concentrating on reading their thoughts as he smirked and shrugged.
"Who I am doesn't really matter right now," Enjin said. He was still smirking at the three of them.
Abel glared even harder at him. Who the hell was this guy anyways?! He definitely wasn't Cain; Cain didn't wear glasses typically and he definitely didn't have cat ears. Plus as far as Abel remembered, Cain didn't own a jacket like that. He narrowed his gaze. He remembered the last time someone with an uncanny resemblance to someone he cared about had appeared.
Another damn Rakshasa is the last thing I need to deal with right now... Abel thought.
"Let me repeat myself. Who are you?" Abel growled. Enjin chuckled. It looked like the teenage "demon king" was getting a little pissed off.
"You can call me Hiizumi Enjin," Enjin said. "By the way, you two wouldn't happen to know where exactly I am, would you?"
Abel's expression didn't change. "Void Hotel, in Void City, on the dimensional island."
"Ah," Enjin said. That was definitely not Sakurashin Town, not in the least. He'd never heard of a place called Void City in either the Afterworld or the human world. He'd really fucked up this time, that was for sure. He looked back at the twins. The non-scarred one, the one apparently called Keiichi, reminded him a tad bit of the latest Oyakume, Akina Hiizumi, at least in appearance. The other one did too, but Keiichi seemed to have a bit more of a ferocity to him.
"By the way, you three wouldn't happen to be related to anyone by the name of Hiizumi Akina, would you?" Enjin asked. That seemed to be enough to throw "Keiichi" off guard.
"No, sorry," Abel answered.
"Ah. So, who is this Naoya?" Enjin asked. That made "Keiichi" tense up again. There we go. He was only being civil for the moment. It was more fun to play with this "Keiichi" and his friend/twin. Oh, and the demon (possibly a tengu?) that had obviously had its wing ripped off by someone.

Nirad held his wing behind himself. If he didn't attempt to defend Abel if things went south, Abel would make him wish he had later. The man read as human, sure. But Nirad knew he was the sort of thing that made normal humans freak a bit. Certainly not stare with an amused smirk. So he was hiding something, and whatever it is made him at least think he was on equal footing with a demon. Whether he was or not was up in the air, but it was enough that Nirad wasn't confident about the situation when he considered his current condition.
Things would not be this bad if Abel had simply taken my words instead of ripping off my wing. I am still not sure he was not trying to make me a target, either... He didn't have to leave me alive, after all.
Seth looked nervous as the man continued. The smirk... he was more like Cain than Seth liked. It wasn't just the appearance, there were definite personality similarities. He slowly pulled the COMP out of his pocket and flipped it open. He broke contact for all of three seconds as he brought up the screen to summon demons. He only had one other thanks to the effects of the Island, but he could bring it out to defend the group if he had to. He made the plan to do so and looked up just as Enjin was asking if they knew a Hiizumi Akina. Same surname, couldn't be coincidence.
And then Enjin asked who Naoya was. The first thing Seth did after his eyes widened was to replay the conversation. No, he was sure. They hadn't mentioned Naoya at all during the conversation. If they had, they would have called him Cain. Seth swallowed a lump in his throat and glanced towards Abel. It was possible he'd be in trouble later for opening his mouth, but he had to try. His voice was a bit flat and dangerous, although his mind was bordering on panic.
"Abel-ousama asked you who you were. That goes beyond a name," Seth stated.
If he knows Cain's name in this life, then he has to know him. Or know of us to know of that name. After all, he knew who Abel was just by looking at him! ...is he playing with us?

Dammit, Keiji, control your heartbeat!
Abel had tensed up a fair bit as he sensed Seth's rising panic. It wasn't outwardly showing, but Abel could definitely sense it. He was already going through enough of a personal hell. He probably wouldn't lose it here while this Enjin was still here; his practical disgust toward this cat-eared Cain-lookalike was overriding his want for magatsuhi, but after he was gone...
"Abel? That's his name? Funny, he certainly thinks of himself as a Keiichi," Enjin taunted. It was funny the thoughts going through their minds. One was worried that this Abel might kill him if he didn't protect his "king". Apparently Abel had been the one who had ripped off his wing. The other one apparently thought he knew this "Cain". So, this Naoya's name was really Cain. He'd laugh at their little naming theme if he wasn't so worried the "king" would attack him. Well, he already had things set up in case the "king" did so.
Abel's eyes narrowed as the realization hit him. "You're reading our thoughts."
"Bingo!" Enjin snapped his fingers. "You certainly figured it out faster than most people do."

Seth had seen Abel tense up. He wasn't looking at him when Abel did, but he caught it out of the corner of his eye. He closed his eyes, keeping his ears open and his finger hovering over the confirmation button of his COMP. Seth forced his pulse down, and while he wasn't fully aware of the meditative concentration it took to do so, his mind was mostly blank. All Enjin would be getting was his focus on controlling his heartbeat. He opened his eyes in surprise, the concentration lost with a hope that it was down enough to stop bothering Abel, when Enjin mentioned Abel's name in this life. His eyes widened. No way...
And then Abel said what was on both their minds. Enjin snapped his fingers, that knowing smirk still there. Shit. Seth knew there were demons that could do that, probably some humans too although he'd never actually met a psychic of that strength. And the man in front of them did have cat ears. Was he a demon? Seth shook his head, the fact that the man knew everything he was thinking regardless of his race as a problem. He forced his pulse down a bit again before taking a step forward.
"It is in your best interest to turn around and walk away..." Seth growled, the thoughts he was trying to focus on being that Abel would kill him if Enjin pushed it. Of course, he couldn't stop the other thoughts of worry about what Abel would do afterwards, therefore giving Enjin more reason to believe the non-scarred twin was unstable. And there was the constant issue of trying to keep his pulse down, which was mostly successful but still a very prominent thought.
Nirad narrowed his eyes. He didn't read as a demon, so he had to either be a psychic... or strong enough to shield his aura. It was possible, but only among the most powerful of demons. Most of them didn't bother with it at that strength level. Abel probably couldn't do it now, but it was more a conflict of his sides then the inability. Nirad realized the direction his thoughts were going and his age allowed him to shield his thoughts better. He couldn't stop the mind reading, but all Enjin would get without more effort/energy than he likely wanted to waste was variations of His Majesty will kill you if you push it. He is the King of Bel, the King of Demons, and he does not like being toyed with. Nirad would raise his detached wing to make the point his thoughts had if Enjin focused on him.

Enjin almost laughed at the thoughts they were sending his way. The scarred twin and the bird missing a wing were both trying their best to convince him not to goad Abel on any further. Some of Seth's thoughts were convincing him even further that this boy who obviously was having identity issues had even more issues than that. Probably emotionally unstable. And while it was oh so tempting to drop this Abel, Enjin didn't have a death wish. Those were some very serious threats they were sending his way, and Enjin didn't doubt they were telling the truth. He looked toward Nirad. The demon had gotten his wing ripped off by Abel; some of his thoughts earlier had been proof of that. And it had to have been recently... people who had just had limbs ripped from their body didn't not go through a large amount of emotional distress. "Sorry, 'Keiji', but I'll have to pass on that," Enjin said. He looked toward Nirad and gave one of his darker grins. "You shouldn't protect your king, y'know. After all, he was the one who ripped your wing off, wasn't he? Made you a walking target for any demons that wished to make you their prey." He held up his hand again. "Personally, I wouldn't follow him after that. And since you're already gonna die anyways... I bet it wouldn't change much if you fell much further." He snapped his fingers, and electricity sparked around his hand before a ray of light sparkling with the same kind of electricity flew from somewhere above the group, and hit Nirad. Enjin smirked. Whatever happened now was in God's hands. ((OOC: And before anyone asks, yes, I did have permission to turn Nirad into an uncontrollable monster/demon-thingy. ))

Seth looked startled as Enjin addressed him by the name he'd borne in this life. Past tense because Seth didn't even think of himself as that anymore. He looked towards Abel for a moment. He never thought of himself by that name anymore, but it was possible Abel still did. In another situation he might have had a mix of depression and bitter happiness. But it wasn't another situation. He was quick to turn a glare at Enjin as he began what seemed to be taunting. Was he insane? Nirad wasn't rebelling against Abel because the demon knew that death would be long in coming. Abel would likely torture him if he could stop himself from killing him.
Nirad narrowed his eyes as Enjin addressed him. His thoughts exactly matched Seth's. Yes, it was Abel that had made him a target. Yes, it would have been kinder to just kill him. But it was also true that Abel hadn't tortured him. Even demons had threshold points, and the only thing he could count on preventing torture if he pushed the King further was Seth taking the risk of asking he be given mercy. Besides, if he ran he'd merely be chased... and beyond all that, he was contracted to Seth.
Both Seth and Nirad had a feeling something was very wrong when Enjin lifted his hand. Seth willed his pulse to remain at only the slightly elevated level it was at. But he still hit the confirmation button on his COMP and a Culebre materialized. He whirled around towards Nirad as he heard the crackling, officially deciding the man before them was indeed a demon. The electricity impacted as Seth focused, and the backblast was enough to knock Seth over. Likely would have knocked him backwards quite a bit as well if it weren't for Culebre flying down and catching him. He had time to briefly think for a moment how there was no way in hell that had been demonic if it had thrown him back that much. The Harmonizer would have buffered it.
The blast had managed to put a small crater like dent in the floor. It was an inch deep at the deepest part, but it had caused enough force that the carpet had simply ripped to allow for the crater. A bit of the blast had shot upwards, and a few pieces of the tiled ceiling had fallen down... a few more were hanging still. Seth's eyes widened and he had to manhandle his emotions to get his pulse to not absolutely race. It was still pretty fast, though.
The whole mess had kicked up more than a bit of dust and the electricity was still crackling. Now to accompany it was something like a growl. Something like as there seemed to be more in common with the screech of a bird of prey.. just growling. It was a combination of sounds that seemed altogether unnatural, and Seth narrowed his eyes in glare. However, it couldn't shield his thoughts of extreme worry and concern over the demon. Enjin would be more than aware now that Seth considered the demon a friend, one of few he had anymore.
A huge gust of wind, far too large for Nirad to have made with both his wings intact, flew forward. With no one to support his back, Abel would be thrown backwards unless he exerted a lot of opposite force via his demonic speed. Culebre found itself unable to support Seth well enough and it was thrown backwards, shooting to the left side of Enjin and impacting the wall. The dragon-like demon left a crater, but it managed to pull itself free. It was pretty clear it had done some good damage, but the demon was still managing to fly. Seth had actually been lifted up off the floor, but it wasn't gravity that brought him back down. Because as Seth reached the epex of his assisted "flight", something shot out from where Nirad had been.
That something was twice the size of Nirad and didn't look like the same thing at all. Nirad's detached wing laid in the center of the crater for anyone who bothered to look at that and not the area that was now a battlefield. The similarities pretty much ended at humanoid bird. The most noticable aspect was Nirad now had two wings again. Although they'd mutated and now looked like feathered bat wings, and it was a wonder the demon(?) could fly as it appeared to have split from his one remaining wing. Oddly, they retained the same color scheme as before, only in far darker shades.
The gold pieces had seemed to fuse into his body and now appeared to be polished black rock. His eyes all but glowed red, and his outfit was in tatters. Most of his color scheme was similar, but far darker. His face was black though, and his beak dark grey. It allowed the glowing eyes to really stand out. His taloned hands looked a bit twisted and a bit more skeletal, and the talon parts appeared to sharper now.
"Nirad" met Seth at the apex of being lifted into the air and slammed the teenager back down to the ground. It left a crater of its own, but it wasn't deep enough to tear the carpet. There was a bit of a cracking noise, the result of two of Seth's ribs cracking. The fact was the impact looked like it should have done far more, and it was nothing short of the Harmonizer reacting to the fact that Nirad was still technically a demon. However, the object flew out of his hands in his surprise and skittered past Enjin. It was still within the cat-eared man's reach if he felt the need to, but the damn thing wasn't the least bit damaged.
Seth's pulse had raised now, and to Abel's demonic senses it was perhaps a surprise when Seth pushed past the pain and kicked Nirad in the upper legs, the only place his pinned position allowed. The demon made an animalistic "tch"-like noise and shot into the air.
"Nirad, what the hell are you doing!?" Seth shouted, glaring despite wincing from obvious pain. It wasn't what his thoughts were saying, though...
Nirad, no! Dammit, what the hell did he do to you!? You can't just lose it like this! The only thing preventing the Prince's worry, anxiety, and panic from showing was the adrenaline...

It took a hell of a lot to freak Abel out. It took a hell of a lot to freak him out. But he'd officially reached that point when the elecricity hit Nirad. Whatever he was sensing inside that cloud of dust was Nirad, but it felt... wrong. And then the next gust of wind came, knocking Abel over. He looked up, and even his eyes widened at what Nirad had become.
Enjin started laughing this time. Abel climbed to his feet and gave Enjin a look of pure hatred. Abel had been mad at Nirad. Told him to never show his face around him if he wanted to live. But he hadn't wanted this to happen to the demon. He wanted nothing like that.
"What the hell did you do to him!?" Abel screamed. Enjin only laughed harder.
"I 'dropped' him. To be honest though, it wasn't all me. The feelings you had created in him had a fair bit of a role as well," Enjin said. He looked down at the COMP that had skidded by his feet and picked it up, examining it for a moment. "Fancy. Say, shouldn't you be helping your brother fight the monster you created, Keiichi?"
Abel looked back at "Nirad", and glared at Enjin before running at "Nirad" and ramming into his legs. "Dammit! Keiji, get the hell out of here, I'll handle him!"
When I get done, I'm going to kill you, Enjin! Abel thought angrily. Enjin smirked.
"You'll have to catch me first," Enjin said in a low voice. He had things prepared in case Nirad decided to come his way. At this point he was just an untouchable observer.

Cain had just settled into a laying position on his bed. He was about to go inside his head when the entire floor shook. He frowned and sat up. He was the only one of their group at their rooms right now. He got off the bed and flipped open the COMP. Both Abel and Seth were still in the building, and there had just been an explosion. He picked up the phone in his room and pressed the button for the inside line. He wasn't wasting the energy to go downstairs if it was nothing.
It took ten seconds for someone to finally answer the phone. Cain opened his mouth to ask if something was wrong. He didn't get a chance, as a sputtering panicked voice came out from it. Cain's expression darkened during the entire conversation.
"S-s-sorry we can't help you right now! Th-th-there's this cat eared man and this demon without a wing and these two twinsandthey'regoingtobringthebuildingdownonmyheadsorrygood-"
Cain hung the phone up with a slam. So Abel had gotten into trouble with a cat eared man? That sounded like it was probably a demon. He wasn't denying the possibility of a "catboy" giving the Island, but there had been an explosion. Cain pulled out his COMP and frowned that Abel had sent Nyarlathotep away to spy. Well, he still had his own spells and his ability with magic was nothing to laugh at. He stuck the device back in his pocket and ran out of the door. He didn't bother locking it, there was nothing in the room to steal.
----------
Seth had stumbled to his feet. He noticed Enjin had the COMP and tsked. Well, there was no shielding the fact that the thing was important with the demon's abilities. He moved onto focusing on where Abel had rushed forward and rammed into Nirad's legs. The demon glared at Abel and pushed him away. He did so in a way that had his blade like claws forward, and if the King wasn't very quick he'd now have three slices across his chest. Nirad flew backwards and shot a nasty glare at Seth, who was holding his chest and breathing shallow from the pain of damaged ribs.
"If your humanity can't allow you to kill me, the King really is better off without you!"
Seth's eyes widened as Nirad addressed him in the demonic tongue. He barely managed to stumble out of the way as Nirad rushed him again. He looked like he was about to fall as he seemed to crouch, but the Culebre flew forward and used his head almost as a flying seat. Seth hardly seemed to notice it as he grabbed the tip of the dagger in his boot and used the aid to rebalance himself. He glanced at where Enjin was with the COMP and cursed his thoughts for letting Enjin know his ability to use spells came from the thing.
"Abel, I can handle it! I'm not defenseless!"
You can hear these thoughts to, can't you, you bastard!? I'm not good at shielding them, so you probably already know about Abel's tendencies when I'm in danger... I'm not letting him lose it over that again!
Seth threw his hand down. A pale black light swirled around Culebre and transferred the energy that had flown from Seth's hands over to the dropped demon. Nirad actually managed to have a response of shock as it was hit three times by the swirling light that would be displayed as Holy Dance on the COMP Enjin currently had. It was enough to crash him into the floor, and it left quite the opening for Abel if he chose to take it. Seth's mind was screaming with emotional pain to Enjin's abilities, and it was rather odd that the scarred teenager's eyes weren't tearing up considering it... truth was he wanted to, but crying was something he'd lost the ability to do some time ago.
Cain ran out into the lobby just in time for Nirad to crash in front of him. His eyes widened in genuine surprise as he leapt backwards. The agility was not something you'd expect from most modern humans, but it was something a theif or spy from ages gone past might have had. Well, no, Hime would have been able to pull a leap something like that, but again. The definition said "most". Cain landed and looked quickly assessed the situation. His eyes settled on someone who could have been his brother by appearance and he glared.
Cain had scanned the situation quickly, and his mind ticked off all the evidence. The layout meant that the man with the cat ears had instigated the encounter. Abel hadn't seemed off balance, just depressed. The evidence showed it was the cat man who had caused whatever had happened to Nirad, and said man was now reveling in the situation. Seth had been hurt, and he'd summoned a Culebre at some point. The demon dragon was now running support for Seth, who had been the one to attack Nirad. That was interesting considering their relationship. Abel was pissed, but Cain could tell he was under quite a bit of duress as well. He had his dagger drawn and narrowed his eyes at Enjin. His words were not panicked, but very authoritive.
"You have a death wish, don't you? Care to try your luck over here?" He gave an evil smirk more than a bit like some of Enjin's own.

Abel had been half focusing on Seth and half focusing on Nirad as he attacked the demon, and by concequence, he ended up being hit by Nirad's attack, and as a result, had three large slashes on his chest. He looked down at them before looking at Seth, who was claiming he could handle Nirad.
"Dammit, you're already hurt, Keiji! Don't argue with me!" Abel yelled. He took the opening the Holy Dance gave him, and held out one of his hands before charging up a Megidolaon and tossing it at the demon. They were causing massive property damage and probably would not be readmitted to this particular hotel any time soon, but right now Abel was more worried about taking down this thing that Nirad had been transformed into.
Enjin was aware of how the King would react should Seth be put in danger. He didn't seem to be aware of how BADLY Abel would react, though. Well, he never did seem to be aware of when he needed to stop goading things on. He hadn't realized how badly Akina's little friends were going to react when he'd stabbed the man in the stomach before, and he didn't seem to realize how badly Abel would react if Seth were put in danger.
He didn't get a chance to goad Seth and Abel any further, though, because at that moment, Cain had appeared, and Enjin's brain proceeded to try to break at the moment he looked at Cain.
There was more than an uncanny resemblance to his current body. This man looked just like his previous form. As in just like it. Down to the silvery-white hair. It was like looking in a horrid mirror. This was Naoya? He could easily see why they'd thought his current body looked like him. Gin had looked a bit too much like his original human body for comfort. But Gin had nothing on this Naoya's resemblance to him.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me," Enjin growled as he looked at Cain. Enjin's expression at the moment resembled some of Cain's when he was in a tight situation. "You're Naoya? Shit. Just... shit." He took a step back. He didn't know how to react in this situation. He hadn't expected to meet some weird alternate dimension version of himself. At this point, his mind definitely was trying to derail at the very least.

Seth shot a look towards Abel. Maybe Abel was a demon, maybe at the end of the day that made him tougher, but his brother was hurt now too. Granted, a sliced open chest wasn't as severe as probably cracked ribs, but they were both hurt. He looked away from Abel and focused on Nirad, who had managed to deepen the crater from before as he was pushed down by Abel's Megidolaon. Cain ignored the situation with his brothers and gripped his dagger tighter. For some reason, the man he was staring at had gotten intimidated, and it seemed to be nothing more than his appearance that had done it.
"I'm Cain," Cain replied, and his thoughts wouldn't argue, "And if you're intimidated that easily you've picked the wrong throne to mess with."
Cain ran forward. There were several different tactics running through his head, and if Enjin wasn't too broken to try and read his mind he'd realize Cain hadn't chosen any of them. About the only thing the man had seemed to have decided upon was that he had no intentions of killing Enjin. The thoughts clearly indicated Enjin would be tortured if he was alive, although there were a few admonishing Abel for not going that route as often as he should.
Seth decided on ignoring Abel. He had to show his twin he could fight demons. He had not chosen to accompany the younger of the two brothers he had met in this life as he damned himself just to sit on the sidelines. They were in, or about to begin, a war and dammit if he wasn't going to prove he could pull his weight. This was a horrible way to have to do so, because Seth couldn't see any other option than to kill one of only two friends he had... and the other seemed to be harboring a sort of resentment lately. Seth hadn't missed Atsuro's jealousy, he just hadn't known what to do with it.
"I'm sorry, Abel..." Seth muttered as he used Culebre's Evil Wave to hit Nirad with another Holy Dance.
Seth had run forward, ignoring the pain and causing one of his cracked ribs to give up and actually break. He had his dagger ready, and he intended to pin Nirad down with it. He'd apologize to Nirad before he killed him. Maybe the demon had mutated as a result of anger towards Abel and himself, but it wasn't something Nirad would have done under any circumstances without the push from Enjin. At least he could make it quick for his friend. He actually found himself grateful he couldn't cry. His eyes stung, but at least his vision wouldn't blur...
Cain was almost on top of Enjin by now, and if Enjin focused on his thoughts he'd realize one other thing. Cain wanted to get that COMP from Enjin in one piece. It wasn't that he seemed to think it a significant problem if he didn't, but it was clear it would be a great inconvenience. Still, the only clear idea of the General's actions Enjins would be able to get was that Cain wanted to hurt him with the dagger, but keep him alive. There was a smirk like someone suffering bloodlust might have on Cain's face. He looked forward to torturing the cat eared man...

Enjin closed his eyes as Cain spoke, and when he opened them again, the intimidated look faded. He needed to calm down. He was obviously among a group of unstable demons and humans, including one who was planning on going to torture route with him if he managed to hit him. Enjin didn't even need his satori abilties to tell that. He probably would have gone the same way.
The point was, Enjin didn't need to be showing intimidation over someone having an uncanny resemblance to his human body. He could find out what was up with this group later, once Nirad was dead and the fun was done. Enjin didn't bother dodging out of the way of Cain's attack. Because when Cain reached him, he was no longer there.
Abel was a little taken aback by Seth's insistance that he was the one to fight Nirad. He finally stepped back and let Seth handle it. Nirad had been his friend, after all. This was something Seth had to do. But dammit, if Seth got hurt too badly, he was going to step in.
He decided to turn around and take care of the other problem, the one Cain was trying to take care of, just at the moment when Enjin disappeared. His eyes widened. That hadn't been super speed; he would have been able to track it. It wasn't Phantasma either; Enjin didn't feel like a demon and not only that, but his abilities had been mind reading, not teleportation.
"You missed," Enjin said. He had appeared behind the lobby's counter and was examining the COMP again. "You seem rather desperate to get this from me. Try and catch me first, then."
He smirked. If Cain rushed him, which he was hoping, the man would get a knife in the belly. And this time there wouldn't be a damn scroll to save him like it had Akina.
