Yuugi snapped out of his own mind when he heard Minato. He turned towards the young man and nodded quickly, hoping it would make him feel better. He hadn't meant to make Minato feel bad.
"This place seems off..." Atem looked up towards the top of the hotel. There was a weird energy about the place.
Yuugi felt it too, and he generally wasn't all that sensitive to things like this. He willed his feet to stay in place and turned towards Minato, "Is this place haunted or something?"
Atem didn't think that was the case, but neither of them realized it was the dimensional distortions that was causing them to feel uneasy. The hotel was known for its... oddities, after all.

"Haunted... no. This place was built off of the very essence of the dimensional anomollies within this world," Minato answered. "It would have a weird aura around it due to that."

"Wait, does that mean me and Atem could get sucked someplace else!?"
Well, if nothing else, it had distracted Yuugi's mind from his previous thoughts. What Minato said made sense to Atem. He had thought it had a vague similarity to his memory world and the Yami no Game Yami Bakura had pulled him into. Spacial Distortions worked, seeing as how that "game" had been a very deadly "illusion".

"No. It's not run off of the energy used to transport people to other worlds, but rather the energy that keeps this place alive, an unlimited source of power," Minato said.

"Oh, okay." Yuugi felt stupid. He kept freaking out over silly things.
"Then I'll see you tomorrow?" Yuugi wondered if that was asking too much, and kind of regretted saying it. He already felt like he was imposing too much.
"He's not judging you. If anything, I think he finds you refreshing. People like you more than you realize."
Yuugi's tension relaxed a bit before Minato could answer. He made himself look Minato in the eye and smile.

"Perhaps," Minato said. "It depends on what happens. Sometimes I find myself having to be the hero here and there because this place attracts evil the same way it attracts good. If no psychotic villains invade, odds are you will see me tomorrow."

Yuugi nodded, "I'll count on it then!" he turned to Tomoya, "It was nice meeting you!"
Yuugi waved with way more energy than was probably necessary before turning around and running into the hotel. he didn't want to prolongue the goodbye.

"Well... he's energetic," Minato said smiling.
"We'd better get back to whatever then," Tomoya said, turning around and walking out.
