(aww, I hate that episode. XD)
Blossom paled slightly at this. "You mean...he's..."
"...not going to be so easy to find, in that case, I'm guessing," Double D finished, seeing the Powerpuff girl was becoming uneasy. "Let alone fight him."
"We...have to hurry..." Blossom quickly stood firm. "We have to start training right away!"

"OKAY!" Waddle Dee yelled. He liked training. Why else would he travel the world looking for new masters?
"Yeah, count me out of this training thing, then," De'Marcus said. He leaned on the wall. "I'm not too worried about the strength of Mr. Him. Even if he is as powerful as some kinda future version of Pinky over there's Him." He kicked Mr. Orange in the air for a moment before catching the giant orange under his foot again.
"Also? I live in the tropics. I eat crab for dinner. I think I can take down some dude with crab claws any day," De'Marcus said.

Tarosuke resisted the urge to say 'You're funeral, dude', rolling his eyes all the while. "In any cases how CAN we prepare for this upcoming fight anyways?"
A shake of his head and a shrug was the response Tarosuke got. "I don't know..."
"But I do."
Everyone turned to Otto to see him thinking to himself before grinning. "Yin and Yang. Those two are pretty powerful in their own right. What's more, their both very good fighters."
"Yin and Yang you say?"
Out of Gantz's mouth came Soul Calibur seeming, dare one think it, uneasy. "I've heard of them, they are the two seraphs of heroes, if I recall." She sighed a little bit before continuing. "Somehow I always knew I'd be seeing those two again..."
"You knew Yin and Yang before Soul-san?" Helga seemed very interested at this point.
"Well, of course. When I was still a sword, many of my magical abilities was given to me by Yin, in hopes that I would become a great evil slaying sword (Though I developed my crystallization ability by myself)." Soul didn't seem too happy at the prospect. "Also, Gantz, I feel the need to repeat that codepence does not last long no matter which way you look at it. Before anything else we should find me a suitable vessel that I could take up soon."

Double D nodded; he remembered Yin and Yang quite well, at the Temple of Balance... when he first proved himself as plausible warrior in his own right...
He remained quiet, thinking critically. Times were changing. As his own abilities grew, so did his enemies become stronger. And truth to be told, he hadn't set aside time to train himself anymore. With the new revelation he had during the battle, he knew that needed to change... a change of scenery, a change of sparring partners... if something was wrong with his Charge back at home, he'd know...
Perhaps...
Blossom noticed his silence, but left him be and contributed to the conversation instead. "So we need to find another sword that can hold you, right?"
(just as a note, I think I'm gonna make this whole thing come BEFORE the whole Masahiro-pregnant-fight-with-Felix plot. XD)

De'Marcus stopped leaning up against the wall he was leaning against at the mention of a sword.
"A sword? You need like some kinda sacred sword, one that would work best with your form, right?" De'Marcus asked. "Well, you could always get one made for you. I mean... But yeah. Codependance is pretty unstable stuff. It's not good for two souls to share a body. If you guys try to force it for too long, the body starts taking on characteristics of the soul. Which means you--" De'Marcus pointed at Gantz. "--could quite possibly start getting all crystally and stuff."
Waddle Dee raised his umbrella and wiggled it around a bit so people would see him. "Hey, why don't you use those crystal shard things that were around here for so long to make a sword? Or some other kind of magical object like that? That should hold your soul, right, er... Soul?"

Gantz appeared to know what Waddle Dee was talking about more then anyone else. "If you mean the crystal that Ripple Star is famous for, I don't think the fairies there would be too appreciative of that." Upon saying that, the boy thought a moment. "As for making a sword for Soul... The sword has to be very sturdy and powerful, otherwise it'll shatter trying to hold in Soul... So we can't just get an ORDINARY blade for the job."
That appeared to make Tarosuke think... ... "Wait a minute..." He looked up smirking. "Why not get the legendary 'Master Muramasa' make a sword for you? His merchandise is usually pretty good-"
"and CURSED." Gantz corrected. "Muramasa's are demonic swords that, upon being unsheathed, must draw blood before they can ever be resheathed, even if that blood comes from it's own weilder."
Many grossed out looks followed. "Forget I said anything..." Came the little demon.
Gantz's oath mark glowed. "You better, little one." Soul Calibur almost sounded angry. "The day I try to take on the form of a Muramasa is the day Hell freezes over." Tarosuke looked like he was about to comment about this before Soul finished with, "And before you say anything, I mean the more VOLCANIC sections of Hell, and whatever!"
"Someone's moody today."
"Don't start with me Gantz, I'm not in the mood."

Blossom snickered at their bickering. "Come on, you two. We'll figure something out. I'm sure we'll find someone who can help us in this whole forging business."
Double D shook his head back to his senses, missing the last part of that conversation. Still, he figured they were taking care of it, and he'd be filled in later. For now, he personally had a pressing matter to attend to.
"...Otto?" he quietly caught the Darkbender's attention, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Could I speak with you?"

Waddle Dee facepalmed. "No, no, I mean like those ones they used to make the Nest Jewel. Er... Never mind..."
De'Marcus had been about to comment on the Hell thing himself. After all, Hel had long frozen over in his world. It had always been frozen. Funny how those things worked out.
"Anyways, Pinky's right. We need to get going," De'Marcus stated. He looked over at Double D and Otto before leaning back up against the wall and crossing his arms.
Mr. Orange lolled about on the floor. "Heeeeey... Mr. Gantzypoo... I've got an idea for that sword thingymerbobber..." He rolled over on his side so he was sitting upside down.

Gantz looked down at the orange a moment. "Really now? And what is that idea?"
Meanwhile, Otto looked at Double D curiously. "What is it Double D? Is something the matter?"

"Ahh, no, no..." Double D chose his words carefully. "...I think...I'll be staying here with you after all." He expected the confused look on Otto's face. "During your battle with Kijin, I had a breif moment to search myself for the source of my weakness. The problems I had with aura readings leaving me weak? They stemmed from my own unability to regulate them." He rubbed his neck anxiously. "I closed it off so it wouldn't bother me for now, but... I realize now that I've been approaching these new powers all wrong. And with all the new enemies popping out of the woodwork, I'm going to need to become stronger."
His averted gaze came back up to Otto firmly. "I'm going to need a new group to train with. Not only that, but... I would like you to show me proper meditation techniques, so that I may better discover that extend of my new powers.
"It's yours and Gantz's choice, but... either way, I'll be with you to fight Him, and I'd rather be less of a burden."

Mr. Orange lolled to the side again. "Why don'tcha get an alchemist to turn Ms. Soul Calibur's soul into a livin' weapon, like Mr. Todd?"
De'Marcus picked Mr. Orange up on his toes and kicked the orange in the air a bit before settling him back on the ground, upright this time. "Hey, there's an idea. And Soul Calibur wouldn't have to worry about getting stuck in a weapon form like Todd did because she was a weapon to begin with."
He was keeping one ear on Double D and Otto's conversation, but not inputting anything.

Gantz thought about the Orange's suggestion... "Yeah... Yeah, that makes sense!" He nods at the orange... Before another thought occured to him. "Problem though... Where can we find a good alchemist for the job? He/She'd need to know what he/she's doing pretty well, otherwise any normal sword wouldn't be able to hold Soul's spirit."
"Forgive me if I'm wrong Gantz, but didn't you yourself study in alchemy yourself? Why don't you do it?" Came Soul once more.
The response to this more then shot Soul's comment down. "Because I haven't studied Alchemy enough to create such weapon, any attempts would fail to be able to hold ya Soul."
Listening to Double D's request, Otto could hear the pained sincerity in his voice, knowing just by looking at the boy; him wearing his heart on his sleeve helped greatly. After he finished the explanation, Otto smiled a little... He actually seemed... Proud at this request. He knew Double D was far stronger then him given he was an Angel of Light now, but to hear this angel needed his help was... reassuring.
"Of course, Double D." He nods to the boy. "I'll help you with meditation, if that's what you want." A grin came on his face. "I can even teach you a few tricks of the Energy Projection trade too. Sound good?"

Quickly, Double D's face brightened up, and he nodded eagerly. "Yes, of course!" He reached out and clasped Otto's hand in a firm handshake. "... I can't thank you enough for everything, Otto, really!"
He faltered a little, gulping down deep emotions. "...I...I mean it. With everything that's been happening, it's... your continued support is... greatly appreciated..."

De'Marcus counted off the alchemists he knew on his fingers. "Tree and Taffy both majored in Doom Energy Studies at Alchemy Academy, and they've both made living weapons. Besides them, Chip, Kid, Tortellini, and Lili all made living weapons too, but Chip's dead, Kid's currently being a dumbass like usual and has joined up with Flamel, I don't think Tortellini's even on the Island, and Lili's freaking insane so it's not even worth it asking her. Beatrice and Gogo, I don't think they know how to make weapons like that. And Flamel and Ford are definite nos."
He held up the first finger he had counted off. "Of all of those, I'd recommend Tree, even though I really don't like her too much. She's the only one to actually make a soul into a living weapon itself. Everyone else's living weapons gained souls when they were created. Or at least, that's what Clive told me."
He scratched the back of his head. "Dunno if Tree will actually help you though. She's weird and doesn't like doing the important things. Like, she's obsessed with stealing Mr. Orange back from me and considers that more important than stopping Flamel's little rampage. It's gonna take some work to get her to actually help you."

"Not only that, but Tree's with my old friends." Came a lamenting response from Gantz. "I'm sorta keeping them outta this for now. When everything is ready I'll call them up and tell them where to meet me, until then, Tree's out too."
Crossing her arms, Misty came back into the conversation herself. "You sure that's wise? I won't question you for now kid, but still, they are your friends."
"It's all part of the plan Misty." Gantz grinned as he pointed to his noggin. "Sides, Soul Calibur's new husk is the only thing I haven't completely thought out in this little idea, once I get that new sword, I'm solid."
"Still... Where are we to find a good weapon to use..."
Back with Otto and Double D...
It really brightened Otto's day to hear what he heard. "Um... Your welcome." A small smile played on his face. "It's... Nice to hear that from you. Considering everything that's been happening, I'm just glad I'm being useful here."
Wally grinned, "Whoever said you weren't?"
"Well no-one, but still, we're usually up against some tough competition, it's just nice to know I'm helping somehow."
