Ash was dumbfounded. "What the heck is a doppelganger? Is it something that can change it's shape, like Lani here or a Ditto?" he asked Clueless.

Ellie still didn't believe him, and didn't have any reason to either; Canary was still chirping like mad. "I said stop playing dumb, dammit!" She moved to attack Ash, slashing with her claws.

Jacey saw this and ran to protect Ash by revealing her claws to clash with Ellie's. "I may not know what a doppelganger is but I don't think anyone should get hurt." she responded pushing against Ellie's claw.

Ash had a pokeabll in his hand in less then a second, but stopped when Jacey intercepted Ellie's. "Listen i have no idea what you're talking about but if you're referencing my shift back to human, would you believe my dad is a lugia?" he asked as Yellow, Sakura, and Lani took up battle stances.

"Get out of the way, mimiga! I'm helping save the multiverse right now!" Ellie said, and shoved Jacey out of the way. When Ash spoke, she didn't change her expression at all. "What kind of stupid lame-ass fanfiction have you been researching from, doppelganger?"

Jacey was thrown back and slid across the grass. She soon got up, but not in a shy and timid mood but a pissed one. "Why you-" she grumbled as she ran toward Ellie again ready to slash at her as sher eyes changed to a crimson ruby red shade.

"Fan fiction what's that?" Now Ash was really confused now. though he was thinking about going back to his preferred anthro Lugia form, that was better for combat. "Listen i'm telling the truth. I'm half lugia, half human with Pikachu, Meganium, and Latios genetics thrown in." he explained ready to call upon his pokemon now.

Jacey had jumped at Ellie but missed since Ellie moved out of the way and slid across the grass again. "Get back here!" she said as she ran at Ellie again, only this time ready for Ellie to move out of the way.

Ash dove to the side tossing his Pokeball at the same time. "Grace i need a hand here!" he shouted as The Gardevoir appeared in a burst of light.

Jacey missed once more and slid on the grass once more, only this time she headbashed a large rock and ended up getting knocked out.
(you can skip Jacey's turn for a while it's going to be a long time before she's awake =3=)

Ellie stopped her assault immidiately. Gardevoirs would die for their trainers. And no matter her vendetta against doppelgangers, she couldn't bring herself to kill an innocent Pokemon. Stupid Hero Code.
"Fine," Ellie said, and dropped out of a battle stance. "Just tell me: Who sent you!? How did you find me? Did you use that useless Mr. Copycat and his allergy to find me?"
