The bird then moved over from the first picture and started hopping and making another picture.

Ash took a good look at the picture, well as best as he could with out going past Ellie. "Your bird has drawn something.

The canary had drawn a picture of a Lugia, and a picture of a human, and a crude arrow pointing between the two of them. Ellie's eyes widened behind the glasses, and her knees gave out on her.
"...Canary, why didn't you say so before?" Ellie asked.

Ellie was still staring at the picture. "Ever heard the stories about miners who would take canaries with them into mines, and if the canary died, that would mean that something was wrong? Canaries are natural aura sensors. That's why they're the only natural defense against Doppelgangers."

Ellie still backed away from Ash, and picked up Canary again.
"I still have reason not to trust you. Especially if you are half-Lugia. That's not natural, and half legendaries never work out well," Ellie said. "I met a girl once who said she could grant wishes. She turned out to be half-Jirachi. She eventually self-destructed on herself, her body unable to balance the Jirachi side and the human side."

"i've had time, and i don't do anything, out side my power, nothing has had me yet, besides, i found my father, and he took me under his literal wing, i'm not fully grown, so i'm not all that strong." Ash looked as Grace as she started to heal him. "And i don't feel any different then usual, of course the temptation to use my powers is always there, but the things a full grown and wise lugia can do, i can only watch in aw."

"I don't care. There's a reason humans shouldn't mix with other species," Ellie said. "If anything, I think you should go back to your version of the Pokeworld, and hang out with Dawn, and Misty, and all of them again. Don't go around being some kinda weird powered Pokehybrid. Be normal. Some of us can't anymore, so I say you should enjoy it while you could."

"Then what about Misty and May and all of them?" Ellie asked. "How long has it been since you've seen them anyways? Because from the sounds of things, you care more about your Pokemon than your friends."
She sat down on a rock. "And I don't remember reading anything about pokemon getting married before. And I don't remember them talking either."

A sort of schism has happened. and i have tried to repair it. but Misty was the start. she didn't take to well that i let my heart be claimed. and when she found out i was part Lugia. tried to capture me. Brock he stood by me, but them Misty turned her attention to his gym and he had to go defend it. Tracy, he too stood by my side, he helped me deal with the likes of team rocket and the others teams when they wanted me to figure out how to harvest my power. He's still at Professor Oaks. Max turned his back on me feeling i had broken my promise, that i couldn't face him in a pokemon battle while May cried, knowing about the schism, Dawn, she only continued to see me as a brother she never had." Ash sighed. "She still continuing her quest to be a great pokemon coordinator. If they need me i'll be there, but till then i wander with only my pokemon."

Ellie stared in disbelief before shaking her head. "Misty wouldn't do that. Misty loved you you stupid little idiot. I watched that show enough to be able to tell that. Misty would never try to capture you."
She stood up. "Someone's telling or told lies in this scenario. There is something wrong with what you told me."

"Like i said, you're basing your knowledge on a show, she may have loved me, but she never tried, no one did, aside from bayleaf, or Sakura, Lani, or Yellow, and Misty had a heck of a temper, if the show put that, imagine if she had her heart broken, what would she do?" Ash asked.
