Harvesting Time?

[tsifan]

Langy slowly descended on her platform into the forest below as she jumped off happily. The platform had vanished as she walked over to a small pile of mushrooms and collected a few. "These will make good ingredients." Langy said happily as she picked a few more up and put them in a small paper bag she brought along. She heard something rustle behind her as she dropped the bag and went into battle stance with her staff facing where she heard the noise.

A man in a black suit and fedora with a blue shirt and red tie and carrying a cane and briefcase walked through the large plants.

"I hate the jungle. How did wind up here from Paris anyway?" He said after tripping over a tree root. He sounded very frustrated.

"Huh?" Langy said as she heard talking as a man appeared from the brush. "Who, who are you?" she asked slightly lowering her staff.

He looked up from the ground to see a girl standing in front of him. "I could ask you the same question, little miss Merlin." He said, looking at her attire and her staff.

"My name is Langy Cortu, what's your name?" Langy asked still ready to shoot a ice beam.

"Call me Robin. Now if I may ask a question, where exactly am I?" He asked.

[tsifan]

"Well we're in a rainforest filled with wild life and lots of unique florals." Langy said happily as she picked up her bag on mushrooms. "So where are you from? Are you new to this island?" Langy asked.

"Do the words 'Paris, France' ring a bell?" Robin asked. "Wait, I'm on an island?"

If he was just on an island, that was hopefully small and near shore, then he might be able to signal for help.

[tsifan]

"No, not at all. Also this isn't any island it's called Dimensional Island, it floats over a e,pty and endless void so I wouldn't suggest jumping off it." Langy said as she picked a few more mushrooms up.

"An empty, endless void? You've got to be kidding me." Robin said. While everything she said sounded pretty unbelievable, he still summed it all up as he wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.

"Well so far no one has actually been able to leave this island ever, and dimensional rips have been dropping more and more people on this island each day." Langy replied as she plucked another mushroom from the ground.

"Well, you sure are taking this lightly. You live here?" Robin asked.

[tsifan]

"Not exacty, I was dropped off here a few days ago. But I've decided to make it my home, I have absolutely no memory of anything before I was dropped here though I do have guardians." Langy said happily as she rolled the bag close.

Things didn't sound too good to him. Being stuck in an alternate dimension didn't exactly sit well with him. On the other hand, he did have a lot of people gunning for him back on Earth. Especially having just escaped from a heist, and having the diamonds to prove it in his briefcase, he would have needed some time to rest until the heat dies down anyway.

Setting those thoughs aside, he noticed that Langy was done collecting whatever she was picking up. "Are you about to leave?" He asked.

"Not really, I heard there's a bunch of useful ingrediants for dishes in this forest so I'm going to be here for a while." She said with a small smile.
